I opened my locker when I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist.

"Babe, I'm going to be late for my class."

"Hol' up. I haven't seen you," said Oscar

"Well, it's not my fault you've been ignoring me-Oh my god Oscar!"

He was all bruised up, his head was bald. He had been jumped into his father's gang.

"You got j-jumped in."

"(Y/n) it's not that serious. It's just something that had to be done," replied Oscar helping me with my books.

(Time Skip, Location: walk home from school)

"Wait baby I got a present for you," said Oscar taking out a little box from his backpack.

"What're you doing?"

"(y/n), with me being jumped in there's going to be situations where I don't know if I'll make it ou. But I love you and you've shown me loyalty. Will you be my only love and promise to marry me in the future?" asked Oscar as he opened the little box inside was a small diamond ring.

"Oh my god, Oscar! Are you proposing?"

He hugged me and placed the ring on my finger, I put my finger up and squealed.

We were making out when we heard banging on the door, we just shook it off since Ray always had business to do. Suddenly the door barged open and there were cops pointing guns at us.

I put my hands up, I turned to Oscar, "What did you do?"

A cop grabbed Oscar and pinned him against the wall, he put the handcuffs on him.

I followed them outside, tears were streaming down my face, "What the fuck did you do Oscar?!"

"I'm sorry," said Oscar

I watched as they put him in the back of the car, Ray grabbed me and took me inside.

(Time Skip, four years later, Location: Cesar's house)

I sat with Cesar playing cards, even if Oscar is in prison I still had a good relationship with him. He needed someone to watch over him so I helped him with the house.

The front door opened and in came Oscar with his bag.

I sat there, couldn't move, "Oscar?"

"Uh hi," said Oscar setting his things on the sofa.

I grab my things and leave, I couldn't just sit there and act like nothing.

I let the tears stream down my face, I walked home I couldn't deal with the pain.

(Time Skip, a few weeks after, Location: Ruby's house)

I sat on the sofa scrolling through my Instagram feed.

"(y/n) ..." whined Oliva

Olivia was my best friend; she was much younger but she's been a great friend.

Someone knocked on the door, Jamal walked over and opened the door.

"His phone ain't working. Not that anyone broke it or anything. It just died...of natural causes." said Jamal

"If you see him, tell him I'm looking for him," said Oscar

"Yes sir." said Jamal closing the door, "I'm still going. I just wanted to give Oscar some lead time."

"Okay he's hot, he's definitely something you should try hooking up with," said Olivia

Jamal started opening the door when Oscar ran inside.

"One-time!" yelled Oscar

"This is L.A.P.D. This block is on lockdown. For your safety, remain inside until further advised." said a policeman

"I said, I can't believe we're stuck in the house with Oscar," yelled Jamal

Oscar looked around and his eyes landed on me, he stared for a few seconds and sat down.

"So, Oscar. You and (y/n) have a past or why do you keep looking at her like that?" asked Olivia

He rolls his eyes as he rubbed his head.

Time passes and we're all standing as the kids decide what to do.

"I have to pee so bad. And I'm sprouting major turtle-head. Will someone tell Oscar to get out of the bathroom?" asked Jasmine

"Go ahead," said Jamal

"Ya'll are pussies. I'll do it."

I walked over to the bathroom, I knocked softly, "Hey O? Uh Jasmine has to go to the bathroom."

He opened the door and pointed to his phone, "I'm busy."

"Fuck you."

I walked back to the table, "Yeah hold it."

"What kind of games you wanna play? You guys feeling words, pictures, cards?" asked Ruby staring at Olivia

Olivia smiled, "How about a game that reveals your innermost feelings and secrets?"

"Or...KerPlunk?" said Jamal

"How about Smash, Marry, Kill?"

Suddenly the power goes out, we all blamed Jamal.

"Go, Ruby! We don't have all day," said Monse

"Actually, we do. We're locked in," said Jasmine

Oscar suddenly bursts out laughing, I missed hearing that laugh.

"Uh...You want to play?" asked Jamal

Jasmine starts rubbing her boobs, "Fine I'd smash you, then I'd kill you."

"You forgot (y/n)," said Ruby

Oscar hesitates, "I'd marry you."

I play with my ring, I start blushing.

Everyone gasps as Oscar walks away.

"See! There's definitely some past there," whispers Olivia

A few hours later the lockdown is over, Oscar offers me a ride home and I accept.

He started talking on the way home as nothing ever happened, I needed to know why he's been ignoring me.

I start getting angry and angry tears to stream my face, "Why did you ignore me? I waited four years to be held, kissed, loved by my fiancé and you just ignore me!"

He plays it off as I didn't say anything. I start going inside when he follows me in.

"(y/n), I'm sorry. I never wanted to leave you but the gang had me do something I couldn't get out of. I love you more than ever and I do want to marry you." said Oscar

His lips connect with mine, I lead him towards my bedroom. He takes his shirt off and mine comes off with.

He started kissing my neck, I rolled my eyes back with pleasure...

We laid next to each other, both out of breath.

"I'm sorry again. I love you," said Oscar
