Chapter Ten
You sit back in the chair, unable to speak at the dreaded diary entry that the bunker had. Everything made sense to you from the attack on the orphanage to your strange powers. But that couldn't have been true. Not from where you stood. The thought of having powers scared you. Then you think back to the moment you witnessed your abilities. The nazi bastard attempted to kill you with a poisoned dart but somehow you blocked it. Hell, you witnessed an electromagnetic shield appear before you with no way to explain the happenings.
"That makes no sense," Dean said. "I mean, there's got to be some sort of explanation for all of this." Dean paced around the room. You watch while he continues to walk constantly mumbling to himself. Sighing, you flip through the journal expecting to find other entries that talked about the Cuegle, but to no avail. The entry had stopped on the very page with the very image of the creature without giving anymore explanations about it. You slam the book closed in anger, wishing that you could find this creature and kill it with all your powers combined. It was hard to believe that a creature like that would go after you. For what purpose? Thoughts continue to circle around in your head when suddenly there is a loud roar coming from outside. You look between your brothers and they get ready to head outside, however when you get ready to follow, Sam and Dean order you to stay where you were in case it was indeed the monster. Even though you wanted to obey, you went against everything your brothers told you to do and follow them. You step outside but don't see anyone except for Sam and Dean. Suddenly, you see something breeze by the bushes. You turn to face that direction and yell to your brothers.
"Sam! Dean!" You exclaim. "I swear I saw something moving! Over there in the trees!"
"We told you to stay in there!" Sam yelled. "Y/n don't risk your life. You got to let us handle this." You shake your head and take off for the forest, running as fast as you can, ready to attack the Cuegle. Running head long into danger was an extremely reckless thing, but if it wanted you, then that's how it was going to be. No way was he going to risk his own life to help protect you. Behind you, you could hear your brothers trying to keep up. Despite arguing with them, you search for the Cuegle until eventually you come across the center of the forest. Instantly, the Cuegle appeared. You stumble now, looking at its hideous features, and you regret ever risking your ass.
"Get away from her!" Dean exclaimed and shot the creature. The gun emitted a loud bang, but it barely grazed the Cuegle. You back away, but the Cuegle focused more on your brothers than you. It's three arms struck at you, knocking you to the side. You groan and struggle to get up, only to witness the monster run toward Sam and Dean. Using two of its arms, it grabbed your brothers and tossed them against a nearby tree. You scream and stand. Suddenly a strange energy emerged from your arms, almost electric-like. The Cuegle turned back toward you and laughed, its long beard moved as he belted out the laugh. Not thinking much about it, you use the electric powers and send a wave of shock at the monster. It yells and stumbles but doesn't seem fazed. The next thing you knew, a force once again hits you and you slam against a tree before collapsing on the ground and everything goes black.

Sam groaned, his head stung like something had smashed him in the head with a bat. Shaking his head, he looked around, only to find that you were gone. His stomach dropped. The last thing he remembered was chasing after you with his brother and after that, nothing seemed to ring a bell. He turned toward his brother, who was unconscious next to him, and nudged his leg. Dean stirred and opened his eyes.
"Dean, we need to save her," Sam responded. "It's got her and we need to identify where it took y/n."
"Oh, I'm fine, thanks for asking." Dean said, his voice dripped with sarcasm.
"Do you want an award?" Sam questioned. "Come on, get up." Sam helped his brother stand. "I think we need to look for any sort of evidence that the Cuegle may have left." Even though they had just gotten over a fight, the two brothers searched the surrounding area for any signs that the creature has left. It took about fifteen minutes and complete silence, aside from the sound of nature.
"Over here!" Dean called out. Sam raced over to his brother to see what he had found. "Look, broken branches."
"Then we need to move," Sam responded, and looked down the path. It led to a darker part of the forest, something that Sam nor Dean wasn't expecting. "Now, before it does something bad to her." Dean nodded, and together, the brothers followed the path deeper into the forest even though they tried not to worry about the vast amount of possibilities that might come out because of the Cuegle's appearance.
