Chapter Six
Just as the plan came together, it unfolded as quick as it came when Dean came flying out from a bush where the stranger was hiding. In a panic frenzy, you stay to the side as Sam stumbles over himself trying to get the trunk open. A creature who was extremely taller than your brothers walks over to Sam while you race over to Dean, who had been currently complaining about his internal organs. You watch in dismay at the sight as the creature was holding Sam by the throat.
"No!" you exclaim, getting up and running for the creature. You reach into your bag and pull out a large dagger, striking the creature in its arm but rather than wounding it, the creature just stares at you with anger. "Oh, shit." The creature lets go of Sam and heads for you, but before it can attack, you hear a voice directly behind the creature.
"Stop." the man says. You glance behind the creature and see that it was the same stranger that was following you and Dean.
"Ahh. My Spleen!" you hear Dean complain and try to keep yourself from laughing at Dean rolling on the ground.
"You'll be fine." You say, despite wanting to tease him, you make a mental note to tease him the next time you get back to the bunker.
"What. The hell is that?" Sam asks.
"He's a Golem. Well, my Golem." the bearded man says.
"What's a golem?" You ask simply as Dean rolled onto his back.

You and Sam help Dean stand and lean against the car. Holding out your hand, you make a gesture toward Dean, expecting him to hand over his car keys.
"No," he says. "Forget it. No one drives this thing unless it's me or my brother."
"I'm your sister, you idiot." You scoff. "Now hand over your keys before I kick you where the sun doesn't shine." Sam laughs and turns away while the golem and the bearded man climb into their own car. The Golem still freaked you out. Even though this is all new to you, you shake the feeling aside and hold out your hand again. Dean pouted briefly and handed it over to you. "Thank you." You say with a smug smile, and climbed into the driver's seat. Sam and Dean climbed in as well, with Dean stuck sitting in the back seat while Sam sat next to you.
"Please tell me you know how to drive." Dean asks. Not saying a single thing, you start the engine and follow the bearded man and the Golem. You focus on the road trying to think about anything else, like the dream you had recently. Stomach in knots, you ignore the aching feeling in your stomach struggling to keep your mind from wandering. Thankfully, you arrive just in time to a small white picketed yard and park on the side of the road and climb out. Together, you and the rest walk into the house, but the Golem pushes past them and into the house.
"That Rabbi you were looking into, he was my grandfather, Isaac Bass," the man says. "Which is why we're here and started following you guys." You smirk at Dean but lean over and whisper something into Sam's ear. Sam smirked, not expecting to hear that this guy had a moment. It was even funnier to find that Dean was turning bright red. "Smooth is all I got." The golem continued walking around. Remaining quiet, you allow Sam and Dean to explain the situation while you continue to ponder on something. However, you glance outside and see a man standing out on the other side of the street. You pause, wondering if you were imagining things. From the look on the person's face, it shocked him you can see him. You get up and walk over to the window, staring outside, waiting for the person to walk away. After a few minutes of standing and staring, the person turns and takes off into the darkness. Suspicions arise as you think about everything that happened so far. Shaking your head, you turn back just as Sam and Dean jump to hear the creature groan and yell, asking about the men of Judah.
"We're the good guys." Dean says laughing nervously. "You don't need to be afraid of us."
"Our father was a man of letters. We're legacies." Sam responded.
"Well, most of us anyway," you say. "I'm a new edition here. Still have a lot to learn about hunting and the men of letters."
"When I learned about what happened to my grandfather, a few days after my grandfather dies, I recieve a box and when I opened it this naked, potato-faced lunatic wakes up and goes crazy!" the guy exclaimed. "He trashed my water bed and my entertainment center!"
"Yifalchunbee!" the golem exclaimed. "Yifalchunbee!" the man held up his hand, trying to keep the creature from yelling at him. You glance between the creature and the man and realize what he was saying.
"Take charge?" You ask everyone turns to look at you, like it shocked them you knew how to speak German. "What? I took a few classes online and taught myself, but that's as much as I know. I dropped the class afterwards."
"Sam, are you sure she's not a copy of you?" Dean whispered. You elbow him in between the ribs, causing Dean to flinch from the pain still sore from being thrown against the impala. The evening dragged on with you and your siblings talking to the stranger and out of everything else, you realize he hadn't even introduced himself.
"Wait pause!" you exclaim. "How could we help you if we don't know your name?"
"Oh right," the man said. "I'm Aaron, Aaron Bass."
"Hi Aaron, I'm y/n, and this is Sam and Dean." You respond. Dean grabs you by the arm and pulls you back to the chair, allowing you and Aaron to let go of each other's hands. "Now, aside from the golem, is there anything we can do to help?"
"There is one thing, when I came home today, my grandfather left me a voice message," Aaron explained. "And in the message, he gave me a weird digit. I couldn't decipher it. Maybe you could help me?"
