Maybe not all Humans are bad...

I had gone so far south. Surely my dream home can’t be far away now, right? I couldn’t see it, though the water temperature and landscapes were changing.  It was rather cold in this sea, which I wasn’t used to.  The beaches had gnarled, large trees with scarlet flowers instead of palm trees or towers along its land edge. I disliked the flowers’ colour because they were the same shade as blood. I ate an enormous, tasty fish too fast. Of course, my stomach complained after that.  Soon after, something else bad happened- Aquarius was back! I had plenty of yelling energy for him. “You should be back home with your mother!” I said. “But you said Mum would kill me if I returned to her.” I increased my swimming speed. “I want you dead so you don’t annoy me!” He raced ahead of me. “What’s so wrong about me?” He stared, demanding an answer. “Because you trust the humans that killed my mother!” I said. “Oh come on, Sylvia! You didn’t listen to what I said! My friend doesn’t come from your birthplace, and is not a dolphin murderer, okay? Can we be friends again? You liked me the first time I met you.” His statement was true.  I shouldn’t have said I wanted him to die. That was most selfish, horrible thing I said in my entire life.  I felt rather guilty.  “Let me tell you more about my friend. When I was very young, I was attacked by a group of small sharks. I had severe, bleeding bites all over my body. I had only two choices, both of them very likely to end in death: let myself be ripped apart and devoured by the sharks, or strand myself on the beach and die slowly while my organs were crushed.  I chose the second option. I lied down, waiting for my death.  Ten minutes later, a human girl walked up to me.  She put a wet towel over my body, which was totally not I expected a human to do, and poured water on me, which both were relieving to my skin. Luckily, no water got in my blowhole. She even tried to feed me a fish, though I was too weak to eat. I was grateful for the food anyway.  A few more humans came over and pushed me back into the sea. Waves was waiting for me.  The wounds healed pretty quickly, but the scars left behind are permanent.   I used to have lots of fun swimming with her, though I haven’t seen her on the beach for a long time. I think she might have gone away in one of the huge flying things to another place or even died.” I doubted if his story was true. All humans liked to harm sea creatures, didn’t they? I challenged him. “You’re making that up!” He frowned. “No I am NOT! Why do you always say mean things to me and think that all humans are bad?  That story is true, I promise. Let’s just stop talking about humans, and then we will stop arguing.” I nodded in agreement. It was my fault that this fighting had started.  Aquarius spotted another dolphin in the distance, gracefully jumping out of the calm sea. Aquarius took off, gliding to the dolphin. “You need to be careful around strangers, young Aquarius!” But he didn’t reply. He was already talking to this dolphin. I leaped from the sea towards them and accidentally crashed into the stranger. “Whoa! Where do you come from!?” she said. As I landed, I realised that she was black and white- like the dolphin in my dream! “Sorry for that incident. I didn’t mean to do that.” She said, “There’s no need for an apology right now.  What I want to know is where you come from and what your name is.” Aquarius replied before I had time to. “My name’s Aquarius and my friend’s name is Sylvia. She is from Peru, while I am from Australia. “She looked interested. “Hmmm. What strange places! By the way, I’m Moana, a rare Maui’s Dolphin. Would you like me to take you two to my home?” A wave of excitement spread throughout my body. It’s got to be the dream place! ‘Yes, of course!” We set off.
