This is what basically happened, from a third-person point of view.

Orochimaru: *Sleeping on the couch*

Author: *Walks into the base and sees Orochimaru *

Author:*Walks over to Orochimaru and looks down at him*

Author:*Leaves the room*

{At 12:40 a.m}

Orochimaru: *Dreaming about taking over the world and acquiring the rinnegan*

Author:*Walks back into the room*

Author:*Sits down besides Orochimaru *

Author:*Pokes Orochimaru in the shoulder *

Orochimaru: *Still sleeping*

Author:*Pokes Orochimaru again *

Author: "Hey. Hey. Wake up."

Orochimaru: *Opens one eye tiredly *

Orochimaru: "What is it."

Author: "I can't sleep."
