Ship - Riccaro x River and Inpu x Solis

River sat in his office, quietly writing down in his journal. What's this journal about? You may ask. (HEY NO FORTH WA--- Wait I'm telling it... Nevermind) This journal held brief information about the camper he met. River slowly flipped through the pages, briefly looking them over. The pages kept turning until it came to a sudden halt. River's eyes darkened as they loomed over the Son of Aphrodite's page. He sighed before continuing. 'Stupid feelings... I was lured on..' River stopped again. His hand ran over the picture. "The Son of Set..." River's face flushed. His mind raced with thoughts of the small demon. A smile crossed his face. "Heh... Cutie.." River let his thoughts about Riccaro take over his mind. Seconds passed, till they turned into minutes. "Hmm.."

River was jolted from his thoughts as loud knocking rang out in the quiet room. "Huh.. Uh. C-Come in!" He yelled to the door, hiding the book in his desk drawer. The door burst open, revealing Xylo with an unreadable expression. "Uh.. X-Xylo. What can I do f-for you?" Xylo stepped into the office, looking straight at River. "I need your help." River cocked an eyebrow as questions filled his mind. "Um.. What can I help with?" River stood from his chair, sliding in the desk drawer. Xylo turned towards the door. "Come on. I'll explain on the way." River walked to Xylo, back straightened. The Son of Hades walked out the door, walking towards the Egyptian sector. River shut and locked his office door before catching up the Greek Demigod. "So.. What's happening?" River spoke in a calming manner, keeping up with Xylo's strides. Xylo huffed before explaining. River nodded as Xylo told the story.

River and Xylo stood outside the Pyramid entrance. "W-Wait.. So you're telling me that Riccaro and Solis got into Tombjuice, whatever that is, and are now toddlers?" Xylo nodded. "Okay... How is that a problem?" River's voice heightened in question. The Chinese Demigod turned his head to face the Pyramid entrance. "It's made them clingy to a certain person and resentful to others. Turns out Solis wanted Inpu... No one knows who Riccaro wants. He's been saying blue over and over... Which is why I thought of you." River's face flushed slightly and his chest tightened. His eyes widened. "W-Wait.. You're saying he wants....M-Me?" River pointed at himself. Xylo nodded. "Well... It's only an idea. Not sure if it's true or not, but could you try?" River gave a curt nod before walking into the Pyramid.

He straightened his posture as he strided through the entrance. The only thing visible when River walked in, was the amount of people circling the Toddlers. The soft cries of Riccaro's toddler self could barely be heard over the constant chatter. Campers were swarming Riccaro, trying to get him to come to them. Anger slowly rose in River chest. He approached the group, trying to keep his temper in check. River stopped and stared at Little Riccaro with a saddened expression. The small child had tears running down his face, obviously he was severely frightened. "River!" His head snapped in the direction of the sound. In that direction, Inpu was sat on the ground with Little Solis playing with his ears. River snickered and turned back to Little Riccaro. He noticed the Smol Demon tucked himself under the stairs. His body trembled as the Campers kept gaining in on him. This angered River to no end. River walked around over to the other side of the stairs. The Chinese Demigod stopped when he was next to Riccaro and bent down, sitting on his knees. Riccaro stared wide eyes in fear at other Campers. Rivers softly called out to Riccaro, trying to coax him out. The Smol Demon Boi heard River and looked over to him. Riccaro's fears slowly eased before he felt the need to be near River. A smile crept onto Riccaro's face. Slowly, Riccaro crawled over to River. River smiled and stuck his hands out to Riccaro. The Campers starred in awe, some starred in jealousy. The Smol Demon toddler clung to River. His clothing was bunched up in Riccaro's hands. Riccaro snuggled his face into the Chinese Demigod shoulder, mumbling Blue over and over. Inpu looked over at the two as Solis was still playing with Inpu's wolf-like features. Xylo started pushing and telling Campers to leave. Grunts and Irritated sighs and yells rang out through the echoey Pyramid. River stood up with a smile. He held Riccaro gently and walked over to Inpu and the Sun Child Toddler. "Hey.. You actually got him. Huh. No one's been able to grab him." Inpu remarked slyly with a small smile. River's face flushed as he peeled Riccaro off him. He set the Demon child on the ground in front of him. Immediately, the two toddlers started playing together. River sat down next to Inpu and started having a light conversation as Little Riccaro and Little Solis played with each other.

"So.. That's how we turn them back?" River inquired with confusion. Inpu nodded, winicing a little as Solis tugged on his ear. "And from what it sounds... they turn back soon?" Inpu nodded again. "Well.." River was soon cut off as Riccaro crawled and curled up in River's lap. Inpu snickered as River blushed. River ran his fingers through Riccaro's soft white hair. River looked over at Inpu. He noticed that Solis had done the same Riccaro did. A heavy blush covered Inpu face. "Well.. Might as well sleep too." River spoke softly, careful not to wake Riccaro and Solis. Inpu nodded and laid down on his back, moving Solis's head up on his chest. River shifted Riccaro so he was curled into River's side. Slowly, the Counselor and Son of Death fell asleep without knowing the two changed back only an hour into their slumber.

River Slowly awoke the next morning with a heavier weight on his shoulder. With his free arm, River rubbed his eyes and looked to see what that weight was. River's face flushed when he realized what the weight was. Riccaro was cuddled up to River's side and he was back to normal. 'Wait... If Riccaro's normal..' River turned his head to face where Inpu and Solis were. His suspicions were correct. Solis was back to normal as well. The Sun Child's head was snuggled between Inpu's neck and shoulder while Inpu's arms were wrapped around Solis's waist in a protective manner. River smiled and rolled over. The Chinese  Demigod wrapped his arms around Riccaro's lower back. He pressed a kiss to Riccaro's forehead. "Love you.... You small demon.."

Riccaro kept his eyes closed. He had been awake for a while and was just enjoying the cuddles he was receiving from River. River shifted and rolled over. Subconsciously, Riccaro snuggled close to River's chest. He felt a small pressure on his forehead. Realizing it was River, he smiled. 'H-He kissed me... well.. My forehead.. But still! He kissed me!'

"Love you.... You small demon.." Riccaro froze. Happiness rose in his chest. He lifted his head. "I love you too." River froze. "Y-You were awake?" Riccaro nodded and pressed a kiss to River's cheek. River blushed heavily. "Yay! You two are dating! Just like Me and Inpu."

"It's Inpu and I dummy." Riccaro laughed as Inpu corrected Solis. After that small moment, they laid there in peace and silence.

Number 2! I love this ship idea. I never thought about River and Riccaro. It's adorable though and my longest Short Story yet!
