A Lesson in Love (S1)
Michael let out a groan as he collapsed onto his bed. His day had been spent trying to help that son of Apollo, who had to be the biggest idiot he'd ever met by the way, get the rest of his armour from his father for that damn prophecy. They had also met that angel winged daughter of Aphrodite, Bri, and Austin had gotten even more unmanageable.
"Why couldn't Xylo have been the one that the prophecy spoke of? Why did it have to be Austin." He groaned in frustration.
Although he complained about Austin he knew that he was just jealous. He had spent most of his time at Camp Oasis waiting for his mother to send him a quest. Then this new guy shows up and he already has a prophecy made about him. It just wasn't fair and Michael felt like he might cry which he thought was stupid. Suddenly he was interrupted by banging on his door.
"MOM!" He heard Austin scream from the other side. "MOM, I NEED YOU!"
Michael sighed and stood wiping his eyes. He opened the door and was immediately hit in the face. By Austin.
"What the hell!?" He snapped holding his hand to his, now sore, forehead and glaring.
Austin looked slightly guilty as he apologized. "Heh, heh. Whoops... I was tryna knock again because you didn't answer-"
"Next time give me a minute!"
"Uhh, anyway, I need your help." Austin said quickly. He hadn't even bothered to apologize, something Michael picked up on.
"What do you need?" Michael asked.
"You're supposed to be really smart, right?" Austin looked nervous as he glanced around.
"I mean, you still alive aren't you?" At Austin's blank stare he grit his teeth. "Yes, as a child of Athena, I'm smart. Why?"
"I need love advice with Bri." Austin paused for a moment before attempting to save his dignity by back tracking. "I mean Bri she's my girlfriend and I need a romantic gesture that will confirm our feelings."
Michael could only stare wide eyed. "What."
"I need help thinking of a roman-"
"No, no I heard you but why are you coming to me? Why not the other child of Aphrodite? His name was uh... Barry..? No Bryan! Yeah why not go to him?" Michael wondered at his own words as he realized as he said it what a bad idea it was to ask for advice from the girl who you're trying to get withs brother. Not to mention he didn't care for most children of Aphrodite he met. Katelyn and Bri being the exceptions of course.
"I don't know him!" Austin groaned leaning forward to grab at Michael's jacket. "Please! Help me!"
Michael scowled. "First off, let go. Second, aren't you usually very, confident... Yeah confident with your skills in romance?"
"Yeah but she keeps ignoring me! And you seemed to get along." Austin still clinging the Michael's jacket dropped his head onto his shoulder and whined. "Mooooom, heeelp."
"Look," Michael ran a hand through his hair as he gave up on removing the crying son of Apollo from his person, "Athena is more... Logical. Ya'know like battle strategy or facts."
"Then spit some facts about how to get Bri to like me!"
"That's not what I meant!"
"Didn't you used to have a girlfriend? How did you get her?" Austin had lost all pretense of crying although he hadn't yet released Michael.
"That was way different. Not to mention she kinda got me so..."
"UGH," Austin was really getting on his nerves at this point. "Michaaeel."
Michael snapped. "Okay, that's enough! Just stop shoving your feelings in her face! Like the flowers and what not. You're just being too overbearing. I think."
"I'm not doing enough and I need to get her more flowers and be more open? Aight, I got this!"
Michael's eyes widened has Austin let him go and sprinted of in the other direction, presumably to look for flowers and/or Bri. Michael could only stand there and shock.
"That... That was the exact opposite of what I said to do..."
"What just happened here?" Ritchie stood a little away and was staring in the direction Austin had run.
Michael just put his face in his hands and whimpered. "He's just so so stupid."
Ritchie was silent for a moment before simply stating. "I don't think I want to know."
"You're right. You really don't want to know."
A/N: Yeah this definitely isn't my favorite work but meh. I was really tired when I wrote this and don't have time to proof read at the moment so probably ooc and I'll hate it later.
Also planning a few smaller stories based of of funny posts I see around online but just adjusted to fit Origins Of Olympus characters.
