Austin woke up in a Dark Room filled with food and on a wall was a screen showing Ukko. Ukko began to talk.

"The basic rules are simple. One person will be chosen by Majority Vote and that person will die. The vote will be split into two parts. Through the preliminary vote half the total will be chosen by vote and move on to the next round. As fifteen are alive this number will be seven. A final vote will be used with these deciding the Ultimate Victim. In short the person who dies will be chosen from fifteen to seven to one. Of course everyone will participate in the final vote. However, there holes to this game. We do not care for using grudges or luck as a deciding factor," Ukko explained.

Yes I know all this already move on! Austin thought.

"There are four roles given by the cards. The Keymaster is the guiding force if chosen all die. The Sage by power of divination will know who the Keymaster is. Very lucky indeed. The Sacrifice can only live if they gain the Majority vote but in exchange they get two votes and can choose someone to escape with them, however this means everyone else dies. Despite all this the Commoner has no special power, pretty sad honestly. There is only one Keymaster, one Sage, and one Sacrifice everyone else is a Commoner. So in total at least two people will die. Everyone do your best okay! Well my explanation is over. Time for the main game to start!" Ukko finished.

Finally. Austin thought to himself.

And so the fifteen participants walk to the Main Game Grounds.

"Well I settled on my vote! Curse me if you want to but Bryan I'm voting for you!" Mario exclaimed.
"That's fine we just need another six nominees then," Bryan said.
"Wait... How are you so CALM!?" Kayla questioned.
"Think if I'm the only canadact and if I happen to be the Keymaster or Sacrifice well you should get the idea!" Bryan explained with slight malicious tone, "so let me ask this. Who's been the most suspicious before all this."

The answer is obvious to me! Thought Austin, "Kayla you tried to get Xylo killed before multiple time because of a stupid 3000 year old grudge! Now you and Xylo reconciled don't make me laugh!"
"But we did reconcile!" Kayla exclaimed.
"So that's why both Austin and Xylo were there and Xylo's hourse died!" Michael realised.
"Well we now have two nominees," Bryan began, "me and Kayla. So who's next."
"I'll go with either Bri, Coleus, or Jyles... after all I didn't see them at all during investigation!" Ritchie stated.

This is bad! Austin thought.

"I'll have to disagree as Bri noticed that Ukko dropped something, the rules to the Main Game infact," Bryan countered.
"Huh?" Gasped Austin.
"Oh yeah you see Bri found the rules and went to me however I warned her not to tell anyone as there might be a traitor considering the Second Trial," Bryan explained.

To everyone this seemed reasonable as Bryan later pulled out the sheet but to both Austin and Bri they knew he was lying.

"So Bri did investigate... well I suppose that means she's off the hook," Ritchie stated, "but Jyles and Coleus aren't!"
"So as canadacts we have Bryan, Kayla, Coleus and Jyles... so who's next?" Questioned Relena.

A new topic was needed desperately.

"Let's go back to the second Trial. Who had themselves as an option?" Asked Bryan.
"Oh I believe I did," Mitch stated.
"Wait what! Why didn't you tell me I could have killed you!" Jakey suddenly bursed out.
"Wait a minute... what's going on?!" Brandeen questioned.
"Oh I see Jakey in an effort to protect Mitch voted for him! That could have backfired though..." Soren realised.
"He still broke the agreement of a tie though... so let's input him as a canadact," Bryan stated.
"What no!" Mitch exclaimed.

Despite Mitch's protests Jakey became a nominee for the Final Vote.

"Well then... enough said time for the preliminary vote!" Interupted Ukko.
"But we still need two canadacts!" Imno panicked.
"To bad!" Ukko exclaimed, "please select who to vote for with the tablet on your respective hourglass!"

For Austin it was an Easy Choice

"Seven will procede to the final vote! Kayla, Jyles, Coleus, Jakey, Mario, Mitch, and Bryan," Ukko announced.

"What my name wasn't even mentioned in the discussion!" Mario yelled, "who voted for me!"
"Same goes for the two for voted for Mitch!" Jakey flared in anger.

Confusion struck but cutting through that was Austin.

"Isn't there a sage, can't they tell us who the Keymaster is?" Austin asked though his question was dirrected to get Bri to play her part.

Disclosure Sage

"Well no use hiding it... I'm the Sage revealed Bri and the Keymaster is Bryan," Bri finally revealed.
"So that's why you were so calm you were the Keymaster!" Soren turned to Bryan.
"Wait no Bri's lying! I'm the sage the Keymaster is Jakey!" Mitch piped up.
"Well this is a surprize after all unless you're the Sacrifice you shouldn't try to get votes for yourself," Bryan pointed out.
"What are you talking about!" Kayla flared up, "why would~"
"The sacrifice can only live if they have the most votes and the Sage really can't reveal themselves because they'll get the most votes as they're a obvious safe bet," Bryan interupted
"Huh!" Jakey stuttered.
"Basically Mitch is the Sacrifice trying to make himself look like the Sage to earn himself votes!" Bryan stated harshly.
"Who's to say you and Bri aren't lying!" Brandeen pointed out.
"Well then we have a dilemma vote for me and have the chance of us all dying or vote for Mitch and risk him and whomever he chooses to be the only survivors... although there is a third choice," Bryan explained.
"Wait a minute what are you saying?" Kayla exclaimed
"We can't vote for Mitch as he could potentially be the Sacrifice and we can't vote for me or Jakey as both of us could potentially be the Keymaster," Bryan explained, "Austin didn't you tell me you gave Mario a commoner card?"
"Yes I did!" Austin piped up.
"Wait a minute... what are you two saying?" Kayla stuttered.
"Now that we confirmed that Mario is a safe option let's vote for him," Bryan stated.
"Please no!" Kayla exclaimed.
"It seems you all have come to a decision! Just in time as well!" Ukko piped up, "well begin the vote!"
"PLEASE DON'T KILL HIM!!!" Kayla screamed

"That's despicable... you were planning on having me killed weren't you!" Mario stated with malice.
"It was just a combination of suspicion and bad luck on your part, after all... you seriously thought that no one would notice..." Bryan began, "notice that you along with Jakey, Relena, Brandeen, and Jyles didn't vote for yourselves like the lot of us agreed!"
"Huh!?" Gasped a surprized Relena.
"It only took one look at the votes to see that you guys attempted to kill someone else for your own benefit!" Bryan laughed.

Suspicion turned on the five mentioned.

"I see.. so that's why..." Mario said resigned to his fate.
"Well time to announce the results!" Ukko began.
"No wait!" Jakey panicked.
"The Keymaster was Bryan while the Sage was Bri! Looks like you three had thought of a good strategy for survival!" Ukko laughed.
"Please stop!" Jakey yelled
"And the Sacrifice... well you guys got it correct it was indeed Mitch!" Ukko laughed.

All eyes turned to Mitch.

"...haha... well... what to say... guys... sorry for tricking you..." Mitch said.
"What are you saying!" Jakey exclaimed.
"Jakey it was you who voted for me.. wasn't it..." Mitch sighed.
"I thought... if I tried hard... enough I could... save you... and we could escape together..." Jakey cried.

A needle then injected itself into Mitch

"Yeah yeah it's sad... Mario chosen by vote will be the main event! Where as you're the opening act hurry up and die!" Ukko laughed sadistically.

Mitch was then under the effects of a deadly poison.

"Please! I'll do anything! I'll die in his place! Please don't kill Mitch!" Jakey screamed in desperation.
"Okay I'll give you a chance here," Ukko pulled out a button, "the needles also contain the antidote press this button enough times and he'll be save!"
"Give me that!" Jakey grabbed.

Everyone could only watch as Jakey desperately tried to save Mitch.

"Let's get out of here... let's go home... let's be brothers..." Jakey cried while clicking the button rapidly.

A hand reached out.

"Just stop Jakey... it's enough..." Bryan said breaking Jakey down to tears.
"How cute!" Ukko laughed
"You... didn't... intend... to let me save him... right..." Jakey cried.
"Oh looks like you're Broken... welp time for Mario's death!" Ukko laughed.

Mario held his hand out to Kayla and she tried to grab it but instead Mario faded into light and his form became ashes as if he was never there and his memories were just an illusion.

"How! How could you do that! Austin why! Why did you kill Mario!" Kayla cried.
"How is this any different then when you tried to kill me and Xylo? Huh? You Murderer!" Austin snarled at Kayla, "I just went for the person in question instead of targeting everyone mildly connected!"

"No... no... no..."

Everyone left the room leaving Kayla to cry there alone.

Kayla's PoV

"Why... is this karma... I loved him... he loved me... I just wanted to love and be loved... and that was taken from me... why..." Kayla cried, "even still I could hear his voice..."

"Kayla stay strong..."

The voice then dissappeared.

"I have to stay strong for Mario... for Mitch... for Xylo..." Kayla then started walking, "it was my fault in a way huh... I'll invent a new me... it's not anyone's fault but Ukko and the people he works for!"

Kayla wiping her tears she was filled with a new resolve and reason.
