Austin's PoV

I still remember what he told me. Austin thought

"Hardships are easier to overcome with other people! So we might not be brothers but let's at least be friends okay?" Xylo words rang in Austin's memories.

But he's dead now. Austin thought.

A man he thought of as an older brother was dead and all he could do was move forward.

"Hey... are you okay?" a voice asked.

Turning around that voice was revealed to be Bri.

"Oh yeah... I'm... fine," Austin forced out.
"I know you might not want to hear this but I have an idea about who voted for Kayla..." said Bri softly.
"You do?" Questioned Austin.
"Well Bryan gave me a list of names and thinking back on it those people had zero votes," Bri revealed, "meaning three of those five, assuming that Kay voted for herself, killed Xylo on purpose."
"Who~ who killed Xylo!" Austin flared up.
"Well let's talk to Bryan okay," Bri said attempting to calm Austin down.

Austin and Bri made their way to where Bryan was and on the way Austin discovered a card.

This card will shine the way to escape. Commoner

When they got to Bryan they discussed the votes.

"So five people Jakey, Brandeen, Mario, Relena, and Jyles decided to ignore the truce and attempted to kill someone! Three people actually did!" Austin exclaimed.
"Might be more but those five are suspicious because they had zero votes," Bryan explained, "and on the topic of votes you want to make an Alliance?"
"Alliance?" Questioned Bri.
"Well if the Main Game is anything like the Second Trial which I believe it is if we take Ukko's words into consideration then having allies would be beneficial." Bryan explained.
"Well I don't want to die so I'm in!" Bri agreed.
"If Xylo's killers face justice I'm in too!" Austin resolved.

Bryan then took out a piece of paper.

"With that in mind while Ukko was running he dropped something," revealed Bryan.
"Why didn't you tell anyone!" Bri exclaimed.
"It was after Xylo's death! You think anyone would be in the right mind?!" Snapped Bryan
"Oh right understandable," Bri stated.
"Well what is it then?" Asked Austin.
"The rules to the main game," Bryan revealed.
"So do we tell people?" Asked Bri.
"Of course not. We need the advantage," Bryan argued.
"So what are the rules?" Asked Austin
"Well read it for yourself," Bryan stated.

There will be two votes; the Preliminary Vote and the Final Vote.
After 45 minutes the preliminary vote will begin.
During the preliminary vote half the survivors will be chosen by majority to advance to the next round as the Chosen.
After 30 minutes the Final vote will begin.
In the final vote within the Chosen one person must gain the majority vote and die.
There are four roles; Keymaster, Sage, Sacrifice, and Commoner.
There is only one of each except the commoner who fills up the role slots.
If the Keymaster is chosen all die.
The Sage by power of divination will know who the Keymaster is.
The Sacrifice can only live if they gain the Majority vote but in exchange they get two votes and can choose someone to escape with them, however this means everyone else dies.
The Commoner has no special power.

"So this means at least two more people will die!" Austin exclaimed.
"That's why I suggested an Alliance," revealed Bryan, "but I do have a strategy."
"What is it?" Asked Bri.
"One of us takes the Sage Card and another takes the Keymaster Card, then we move the votes towards the Keymaster and away from the Sage, then the Sage reveals themselves and the Keymaster and we unanimiously vote for someone else while making sure they're a commoner beforehand," Bryan explained.
"So let's find the cards then!" Austin exclaimed.

Bryan pulled out the Keymaster, the Sage, and one of the Commoners.

"Already have them prepared," Bryan revealed, "so comes the question who should be the Keymaster and who should be the Sage?"
"I think you should be the Keymaster and let me be the sage," Bri voiced.
"Are you sure?" Bryan asked.
"Of course!" Bri stated.
"Well okay try not to get voted," Bryan warned, "Austin I'll leave giving the commoner to someone up to your choice."
"Okay!" Austin stated.

Wandering around Austin bumped into Mario. Clenching his fists he talked to Mario in fake welcoming.

"Hey Mario did you find a card yet?" Austin asked.
"No... why do you ask?" Mario questioned.
"Well I found a few things and thought I should give this to someone!" Austin pulled out one of his commoner cards and gave it to Mario.
"Wait this is an escape ticket! Why are you giving this to me!?" Mario asked.
"Well I found multiple and since you were the first person I ran into thought might as well," lied Austin.
"Well makes sense... see you!" Mario went.
"Bye Mario!" Austin said back, you murderer.

Austin reported to Bri and Bryan that Mario was given the Commoner Card.
