Just as Flora was chasing a monkey up and down a tree, she stopped and jumped unto the soft ground. She bounced a couple of times before landing.

I felt the waves and giggled feeling ticklish.

"Mom I've been thinking" "I want to be immortal like you and aunty y/n!" 

I turned to look at her. "What brought this on?"

"I want to stay with you two forever!"

I responded. "That's sweet, but I want you to think this carefully" "Being immortal is a long, troublesome, lonely and painfully difficult road"

"What if all your friends and every human die?" "You'll still be alive as the years pass" "Wont that be terrible?"

She fell silent as I braided her hair. "Just saying sweety" "It's up to you as long as you take responsibility" "I hope you don't feel that stressed"

I looked at y/n who was nearby with worry for Flora. She shook her head and shrugged.

I couldn't help but sigh.
