Krakow watched with horror from the bushes as Jan and Jessie were sucked up into the little stones that the strange creature had thrown. He staggered backwards in disbelief, then dashed away, to get to the cave...

When Jan came to, she was at the centre of a spacious glass box, the bottom of which was covered with mulched wood. She looked around, and saw, through the side of the box, her sister, in another box, viciously and forcefully slamming her body against the walls of the box, hoping to break them. Jan went as close as she could and tried to get Jessie's attention, but to no avail. Then, the "human" came into the room. He stared in at Jessie, who only started beating the walls even more forcefully, so he pressed a button on a panel in front of the box. A gas began to enter Jessie's space, and she soon began to tire, until, finally, she fainted...

Benjamin sighed as he watched the magnificent beast finally stumble and slumber.

Benjamin - Too bad. It's for her own good, I guess... now...

He put on a mask, then collected the first syringe. He opened the door to the cage, and injected the Furret. He then exited, took off the mask, and turned to the other cage, where the Umbreon was contained. She seemed agitated, distraught as she looked over into the other cage, her eyes wide, her breath shallow, almost panicked. He could hear her whimpering through the glass.

Benjamin - Aw, don't worry, big girl, she's gonna be just fine...

Jan couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her sister had been felled by funny looking air. She was beginning to panic, beginning to hyperventilate, thinking of what the human would do to her... and then a delicious smell wafted into her nose. She turned away from her slumbering sister to the door of the box, and saw the human there, holding a small, strange object that seemed to be emitting the pleasant scent. She backed away, worried that the object would incapacitate her as well. Until he seemed to take a bite of it, at least as far as Jan could tell, then he waved it at her again. Jan decided that she would approach, cautiously. She would eat the object, then push the human and make a run for it... She took a few steps toward him, her eyes wide open, but as she got closer and closer to the object, the human would pull it away further and further, until it was just outside the box.

Jan - Oh, come on... just leave it in one place!

Finally, Jan was close enough to be able to reach out and grab the object with her mouth, and she did, grabbing the entire thing and swallowing it quickly. Then she began to swoon... The object was unimaginably delicious! She didn't even feel the needle the human slipped into her neck, because she was so overcome by the flavour. She couldn't carry out her plan; she stumbled back onto her butt, back into the box, and the human closed the door. Jan shook her head, trying to recover from the experience... then she saw, nearer to Jessie's box, another one of the objects, most likely meant for Jessie.

Jan - Um... h-human? Could I have that one? I-I'm sure Jessie wouldn't mind...

Benjamin looked back into the cage. The Umbreon was staring at the other Pokepuff he had prepared for the Furret, but which had become unnecessary, saliva running from her lolling tongue.

Umbreon - Um... bree? Bree, bree, brrrrree... Breon...

Benjamin - I suppose...

So, Benjamin picked up the other Pokepuff, and carefully set it in the cage with the Umbreon, closing the door. She gleefully ate it, then rolled happily about on the floor, before the sleep agent in the serum took effect and she fell asleep.

Benjamin - Note to self: Lacing Pokepuffs with dopamine is super effective...
