She stares at me with her deep almond eyes
"You and I are the like bestfriends! I love you"

Nothing more than tiny grains 
That created the very beach they stood on

The mellow waves
Melancholy skies
Seemed to create the very blue image
He held deep inside

Her smiles
Her laughs
Her jokes that just made his whole
Life worth while

His eyes darted to the large diamond
Her ring finger dazzling just like her eyes
"I'm nervous"
Her voice spoke,  gentle as silk

"Don't worry he'll love you...you'll look stunning" he smiles
His insides twisted into nothing more
Than the pretzels she adores
