Now What?

Jax's POV

Lily had released me from the hug. When she pulled away I could see that tears where lining her eyes. "So now what are we supposed to do?" She asked. "Well maybe tell our adoptive parents. They might know something." I said. "Okay." She said. "We should go talk to your parents first." I nodded. This was all so crazy. And then what about that whole world perishing thing? Maybe we would get another vision. For now we should just talk to our parents and see if they know anything. "Follow me." I said I started towards the direction of my house. Lily followed closely behind. We made it and Lily stared at it in awe. "You live here? She asked. "Yea. My adoptive parents own Nelson Co. they make laptops." I answered. She didn't respond. "Lets go." I unlocked the door and walked in. "Mom? Dad?" I called out. "We're in here Jax." I heard my mom call from the living room. I signaled for Lily to stay behind and went into the living room. Either Mom and Dad didn't know anything or where lying. And I intended to find out. They where sitting on the brown couch drinking coffee. "I have some questions." I said. "Ask away Sport." my dad said. "When I was in the adoption center, did I have any siblings?" I asked. The question seemed to catch them by suprise. They must know something. I thought. "Well, um no. Not that we know of." My dad answered. "Your lying." I said, "Its obvious." He always played with his watch when he was lying and thats exactly hat he was doing. "What do you know?" I asked. "Okay okay. You got me." My Dad said. "You did have a sibling. But its like there's a gap where the memories of them should be. I promise thats all I know."

"Okay." I said, "Well. I found her."

Lily's POV

I heard Jax say, "Well I found her." I guess thats my cue I thought. I went to were I had seen Jax go. His parents had wide eyes and seemed shocked. For a while there was just silence. "Well this is quite awkward." I said, "Im Lily. Nice to meet you." I offered my hand to shake. This seemed to snap them back to reality. "Im Donna." Said the lady as she shook my hand, "And this is my husband Logan." She released my hand and I shook the man's hand. "We need to talk to Lily's parents next." Jax said, "So we should probably get going." Donna nodded and we walked back outside. "Lead the way." Jax said. I started walking in the direction of the bakery. This should be good and awkward to explain. I thought. We got to the bakery and we went in. "Mr. Maifer? Are you here?" I called out. "I'm up here Lil-Lil." I lead the way up to the apartment area. At the last couple of steps I made a stopping motion with my hand. Jax nodded and I went up. Mr. Maifer was sitting on an armchair reading. "You know how I have this necklace and I dont know who has the other half?" I asked. He looked at me from over the book. "Yes." He answered simply. "Well I uh, kinda found them." Mr. Maifer's eyes widened. "You what?!" He asked. I laughed. "Where are they?" He asked. "They're right here.

Jax's POV

And now its my turn I thought. I walked up the last couple of steps. The man who must've been Mr. Maifer was sitting in an armchair and a book was held forgotten at his side. "This is Jax." Lily said, "We're siblings." Mr. Maifer just stayed there. "Lil-Lil this is amazing. I'm so happy you finally found him." He offered his hand to me. I took it. "I'm Moreese." He said. "Its great to meet you." I said.
