Background: Born on earth to human, career Alliance officers. Harper joined his parents on their deployment at only a few weeks old. At about six months in, the Alliance frigate they were on was attacked by a rouge Geth ship, left over from the 2183 invasion force. Harper and his parents managed to get to a shuttle before the ship was destroyed.

The shuttle crashed landed on the Salarian homeworld, Sur'Kesh. His birth parents died on impact. He was adopted by a young Salarian couple, Kiran and Magda Sandros. Harper was raised in the Salarian culture, but his new parents wanted him to be human too. In 2195 at the age of ten, Harper attended boarding school on Earth, graduating at 18. Harper returned to Sur'Kesh shortly thereafter in 22o3. He was allowed to join the Salarian Military. In 2205, Harper was permitted to join the elite Special Tasks Group, the first human to ever do so. Harper went on several classified missions over the next five years, and excelled greatly. By 2210, Harper had attained the rank of Captain. That same year, 2210, the Citadel Council chose to bestow Spectre status unto Harper.

One year later, the 26 year old is currently on the Citadel awaiting his next assignment.
