Background: Born the son of the late Dr. Jonas Miller (Cary Elwes' character from Twister) and his girlfriend Anna Weiss (not a character from the film; I made her up). Following his father's death in 1996 while chasing an F5 Tornado, six year old Jason was raised by his mother.

Like his father, Jason inherited a love of storms and science. Unlike his father, Jason has a natural instinct for chasing storms, similar to that of his father's rival, Dr. Bill Harding.

Over the course of his nine years of post secondary education, Jason became well versed in   serval sub-disciplines of the Atmospheric Sciences including meteorology, climatology, atmospheric chemistry, weather systems, among others. As well as Earth Chemistry/Natural Chemistry.

After getting his PhD in 2017, Jason was hired as a field researcher, Storm Chaser and adjunct faculty member for his first Alma Mater, the University of Oklahoma. Jason remained at U of O in these positions until the summer of 2022, when he was hired by the United States National Weather Service, to head up a trial run of a new program: Government funded, organized and operated Storm Chasers attached to NWS' National Severe Storm Laboratory (NSSL).  The program, known officially as the Field Observation and Research Division began Storm chasing operations for the first time at the start of the 2023 Tornado Season.

Jason's team is currently based in Oklahoma.
