Known (Researchable In-Book)

    The Isles are where many of the mythical and magical creatures tend to make their homes. Even though, when someone enters it from the "real world," any land they are sent to seems infinite, they are indeed finite. Each island is created for a specific purpose, and it bends land and sea to the will of who wishes to make a dwelling there. However, it knows the maker's needs and wants, and will only grant what is needed. Often the Isles will move near one another and they will be a good distance from the other, though it doesn't stay that way for very long. There is a central island where all can go to and from the real world to the Isles, and most of the time, this is where humans end up if they manage to activate the tree portals. Mostly, these humans are scientists, but even then it is very rare, since those humans either get the memory wiped or are killed for secrecy's sake.
The known parts of the Isles are the Ziix HQ and academy, all on a mountainous island; The Revak Feykro, or Sacred Forest, is just that: a forest terrain; and the Mion Jungle Tribe's jungle. Each island has a beach around it, so from afar they can look like the same thing.
    In order to get from the Isles to the human world, there are special portals scattered across the world which can be activated by a certain island's inhabitants. For example, those from the Revak Feykro know Ivory Trees are their portal home, and only they know how to operate them. The same is with every other island; the Mion Jungle have Emerald Trees which they use to get home, the Ziix have Rock Trees which they use, the Jewel Dragon Clan have Geode Trees, and the Cult of the Dark Elements have Moonstone Trees. The Moonstone and Ivory Trees look similar if you aren't part of either Isle, not that one could use them anyway.
