not possess the teardrop scale. her general scales are a darker lilac and her underscales are an ever darker purple, just like her star pecked wings. she
has the consistent amount of frills on her back,
just like her sea—wing relatives. true to their
blood, she also possesses gills at both sides of her
thin neck.

    ↳ she is a wierd dragon that would be the fastest and easiest way to describe her. wierd. wierd, scary, dangerous and crazy would be additional words, because that's really all she is. glowingscales has been a scientific researcher and scientist for about a decade, but she definitely shouldn't have been one for that long. she tends to rethink and overdue her plans every second, always trying to find a way to optimise her ideas and plans, but she usually makes them worse for anyone around her. glowingscales is far from empathic, she doesn't know how or why others feel. she wants to study them, to try and understand why dragons act in the certain way they do, she doesn't understand it. she herself doesn't really feel, which just makes her even more curious. adding on her dangerous curiosity, she also has no sense of danger. glowingscales could be threatened to be thrown into a volcano - matter of fact that has happened a few times already — and she'd just be interested how much it would hurt her or how she would look like afterwards or how it would affect her body. she is just curious. she'd be the kind of dog owners would say

"she isn't dangerous, she just wants to play. "

glowingscales is smart, scarily smart. she knows about gruesome things she probably shouldn't know about. just for the fun of it, she has found out several different ways to kill someone with her tail or spikes. it is interesting to her and she likes to learn. she aspires to be the best in everything and if she isn't, she'll find a way to get others to fail. she wouldn't say she's brutal, just convincingly scary and crazy enough to scare others away with a few simple words or actions.
sometimes it seems like glowingscales doesn't know when she's being wierd or maniacal or even psychotic, but she does. she is aware of everything that happens around her and she knows just how to pretend she doesn't. she's the perfect actress that loves to watch and manipulate. just for scientific reasons of course, she doesn't really mean any bad with it.

glowingscales has a series of "unfortunate" outcomes in her sciences projects but still is entrusted with trying and experimenting. mainly her experiments where practised on dragons, she wanted to figure them out and so she experimented around with them. more than once this led to a few deaths or failed experiments that managed to escape and now lure in the shadows, just awaiting her arrival to get vengeance.
glowingscales grew up in the night-kingdom and had always been curious about death, killing, torture and just the idea of harming and changing one's body. her parents were weirded out by her pretty early on and decided to dump her somewhere away from the kingdom when she was two. glowingscales didn't mind. she wandered around alone and found a hurt dragon who desperately needed help, but glowingscales had something else in mind. she took him in a nearby cave - which later became her home - and she started to experiment. the dragon sadly died and it kind of hurt her, he was her first experiment and she was determined to make the next ones work. some did and some didn't. she quickly became popular under many nicknames for her crazy scientific researches. some dragons where even brought to her, mainly hybrids like herself, because they were seen as scum. it even went as far as glowingscales making or trying things on command. she didn't even want anything in return, having the experiment was what she wanted.
one day, three hybrid children made their way to her and asked something of her, that would later be something she really would regret — but also find fascinating. they wanted her to resurrect someone. it wasn't like she hadn't tried it before, so she knew it wouldn't work, but she was just as determined as the dragonets to make it work.
they worked together for months, the dragons bringing her dead bodies to practice on. failure after failure accrued but glowingscales grew more and more interested and knowledgable about resurrection. she thought she had it all figured out, so she tried it on the actual dragon.
it did work. somehow at least. the dragon was alive, but she was hungry. hungry for blood. blood of dragons.
