Personality: Topaz is a rather serious male who doesn't take insults too well. If he likes you more than a friend he's prone to find some way to insult you though. Known too hiding his true emotions Topaz instead bottles them up, due to this he's battling depression. This causes him to have much internal conflict which results in lack of sleep. When poisoned, a vulnerable side of the lieutenant is seen. Topaz rarely talks of his inner emotions to people, this is due to the fact that he feels his emotions will be seen as a sign of weakness. When drunk Topaz is known to admit things easier, and flirt with his crush.

~Likes~ 

Berries: Typically found near a berry bush during off days stuffing his face with them.

Horseback Riding: When Topaz is not stuffing his face with berries he's riding horses. Although he doesn't own his own he wishes that he did (if he was to get a horse it'd be a black mare).

Walking in the Woods: During patrols it's easy for Topaz to feel a sense of calmness. Listening to the sounds of nature is like a natural calming mechanism.

Occasional Hug: Not prone to hugs all the time, Topaz enjoys an occasional one here and there.

~Dislikes~

Fossa: Since his near death experience Topaz actually fears this beast. Being that he doesn't show many emotions, this fear is hidden. If someone were to look into the lieutenant's eyes they'd see fear anytime he sees or hears one. When others talk about the Fossa he's mostly quiet and to himself.

Losing Quartz: His biggest fear is losing his older brother. This fear was brought about during their time of being separated. Upon seeing his only known home burnt to the ground he thought his brother had died (Till they'd been reunited in the clearing).

Openly showing his Emotions: Given that Topaz feels emotions are seen as weakness he rarely allows them the show. This causes problems, because not very many people can get the lieutenant to open up about how he feels.

His Element: Topaz hasn't shown that he has an element. Given that his element, is diamonds he feels that people would use him for personal gain.

Wall: Can create a temporary wall of diamonds that can separate him from an enemy or person. This is useful to aid in escapes.

Dome: This dome can keep a person safe from elemental powers for as long as it's standing. (Destruction, Energy, and other diamond/crystal based elements can knock it down.

Teleportation: Able to teleport to different parts of the island. Can only do this twice in a day, as it wears him out.

Growths in Body: This power weakens the person and slowly kills them.

Full Armor: Just like the dome it blocks elements powers, but when the armor is destroyed it causes him lots of pain. Given that the armor will shatter. This also causes Topaz to be tired and weaker from using the power.

Mother and Father: Both died when Topaz was eleven.

Neopolitan “Neo” Koketsu (Goes by Quartz): Topaz's 24 year old brother is the 12 year olds care taker. Even for a strong older brother, younger brother relationship Topaz doesn't share his feelings with Quartz all the time. Topaz's brother can also manipulate metal. (Quartz's looks \/)

~Backstory~

Topaz was born on a rainy day in June, he was an unexpected surprise. As the boy grew he looked up to his older brother Quartz, even began calling himself Topaz as result of hearing a name is brother went by. In the summer close to Topaz's birthday the village he and his older brother lived in burnt to the ground. Killing almost everyone, the brothers and a few other people were the only survivors. This event aided in Topaz blocking out his emotions. Due to this the boy cuts his wrists quiet frequently.
