Transformers: Prime

This is for my book True Leadership which takes place after Cybertron is brought back and the Well is thriving.

Designation: Tapper

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Mech

Age: Equivalent to a human in their early to mid twenties.

Profession: Liquor Specialist

Crush: None, he's a happy bachelor who finds femmes to be irritants.

Personality: Laid back but knowing where he's not wanted, Tapper is known as the 'Friendly Drunk'. He's not easily angered but can easily anger the more irritable of bots because this mech simply doesn't care.
When drunk, or "overcharged", he's talkative and smooth, though sloppy in his movements and words. He mostly visits Predaking in this state of mind, and the bigger mech doesn't much care for it, but his smaller friend always seems to benefit from the drunken rants and having someone to listen to him.
He's a fairly agreeable guy and no one avoids him because of his profession because he's not naturally a drunk, the constant teases and planet wide jokes about him being the only Liquor Specialist just start to weigh him down from time to time.

Liquor Specialist: No one ever believed it a worthy profession, but Tapper, from the goodness of his spark, realized it was needed. Many bots ended up in a coma from a faulty batch of Visco (Cybertronian Alcohol. It is, in fact, canon in the TF: Prime book series), and while there were already regulations and laws of how to properly brew and serve this dangerous fuel, there was no one to enforce it and inspect the process at the local bars. Tapper didn't become a Liquor Specialist to be a legal drunk, he became one to keep his fellow Cybertronians safe.
Tapper is perfect for this job because of his small size. His systems filter it faster since there's not much to keep online, unlike a hefty bot like Bulkhead or Ultra Magnus, so a faulty batch of Visco would only put him in a coma for a few hours, rather than a few days or even years.

Likes: Visco (duh), his job (despite the teasing), being fair and blunt, the color vermillion for some odd reason, helping his fellow Cybertronians, his best and only real friend: Predaking.

Dislikes: Being teased and called a drunkard, when bars don't listen to his instructions and guidelines to proper care of their distilleries, idiotic femmes who think they can get free Visco through his connections.

His appearance: While I've never read any part of the IDW series, when I was creating Tapper, my mind instantly thought of Rung. When you have no idea what his personality is like you start to make stuff up, so by appearance I thought:

"He looks like he could be a friendly drunk everyone would get a kick out of."

And thus Tapper was physically based off of a character who I can imagine is no where near my assumption in personality.
