Destiny wakes up abruptly with a pant. She looks as if someone has scared her while she was asleep. Bids of sweats drip from her forehead despite that it's cold inside her bedroom. "It's just a nightmare... it's just a nightmare," she repeats. A chill runs down her spine. There's something that she doesn't feel right. The alarm is still buzzing off and she instructs JARVIS to turn it off. Then her room turns quiet.
"What day is today, JARVIS?" like whispering, she asks the android, still out of breath.
"Saturday, ma'am," JARVIS answers, clearly.
The girl let out a long sigh hearing the answer. She looks out of the window and sees the day is still dark, but there's a glint of orange tint on the sky from the sun that's rising up at the end of the horizon. She turns to look at table clock stated on the bedside table. 6:00 a.m. Knowing that she can get another long sleep, she let out another sigh of a relief. Slowly, Destiny sinks back into her huge bed, her eyes wide looking around the room as if there's something watching her before going back to her slumber.
~
Sighs.
She clicks a file on her computer screen and lazily scrolls it down with a pout. There are tons of movies appears before her but she looks at them boredly. Despite that they are her all-time favourite movies but she doesn't have any moods to watch any of them.
Sighs.
She brings the cursor to a small, red box, on the top right corner with a symbol 'X' and clicks it. The file she just opened disappears from the screen and brings her to wallpaper on the desktop. A picture of Zac Efron stares at her back with sexy, narrowed blue eyes but she ignores him. She looks at all the files one by one, expressionlessly.
Sighs.
With her hand still hovering on top of the computer's mouse, she throws herself back to the backrest of the chair, shoulders slump down, a boring poker face with a pout and eyes that look like she's sleepy. Staring blankly at the computer in front of her, she's thinking what she wants to do to fill up her free time as well as to get away from boredom. It is so quiet in her room. Bolt is nowhere to be found. Jack has to take her little brother to see the dentist and Pepper is out again. Aside from Gregg and John, there's only one person left who's 'free'.
"JARVIS, buddy, what Dad's doing?"
It takes a few seconds for JARVIS to reply Destiny's question. "He's in his workshop, Miss Destiny," answers JARVIS. There was a doubt in the android's voice while answering the girl's question.
Destiny Stark frowns. She senses something suspicious with JARVIS' human voice. "Is there something..."
"No, Miss Destiny, there isn't," JARVIS cuts.
"Then why do I have a feeling-"
"Unfortunately, I have been warned by Mr. Stark not to tell you what he's doing except that he's working in his workshop."
Destiny let out a sigh through her pout that causes her lips to vibrate. "Secretive much," she mumbles. "Not a surprise."
After staring at her computer for minutes that she feels like hours, Destiny finds herself thinking about Tony. The computer with 1001 uses, apparently, is boring for Destiny. She's got nothing to download, nothing to write and nothing to do with any of the applications in the computer at the moment. The time has been slowing down although Destiny feels she sat there for hours.
After fighting with herself and her guard, she finally gets up from her seat. "I should check up on Dad," she mutters to herself. She grabs her phone and leaves the room with the computer on. It's automatic. When it is left with more than an hour, the computer will switch off itself.
As she walks pass the shallow hall that connects the rooms and living area, she tries to find Bolt. She whistles and calls out his name, but there's no answer. She just wants to make sure that he's fine so when he's not answering, she begins to feel worried.
Barefooting while walking on the black, cold, shiny floor, the hair on Destiny's thighs and hands stand especially when she's only wearing shorts and thin t-shirt, although the air-conditioner isn't switched on. However, Destiny doesn't show any effect. She continues walking, aiming for the elevator.
The light from the day outside peeking through the glasses, forming shadows of the window panels on the floor. It looks shorter than the actually size. Hiding from the shadow, a bit deeper into the living area is where the TV on a low, black television table and black, leather sofas are located. Sleeping peacefully in the middle, between the TV and the sofas, is Bolt.
She smirks and laughs at herself, while looking at the dog. As if he'd worked on something stupid, Destiny shakes her head. "Bored, too, aren't you."
She continues walking. As soon as she gets to the elevator, she puts on her boots since the workshop is not quite a safe place. Then she presses the 'down' button on the wall and waits for the metal, elevator door to open. She tells JARVIS to bring her to her dad's workshop level as she enters the lift.

Tony has been staying in the workshop since before dawn. Though he's not doing anything right now but mechanics equipment is all over the place. While standing behind the thick glass, Destiny can see dark circles under her father's eyes. His lips look paler than the last time she saw him which was yesterday. The white balls are now red, indicating how tired Tony is. Being stubborn as always, Tony makes no move of going back upstairs to get some sleep. His big, dark eyes are fixed on the papers in front of him. At least, that's what Destiny sees when the truth is, Tony is fazed by a piece of paper.
Destiny lifts up her hand - hesitates at first - but she knocks anyway. Tony seems to be drowned in his own thoughts to hear the knock on the first three times even though it's already loud. Realising Tony doesn't budge, Destiny knocks again. This time calling for her dad. If Tony didn't change the passcode, she would've entered the workshop herself.
When Tony is still ignoring her, Destiny feels bothered. She feels uneasy at the pit of her stomach. She's angry at Tony for not answering her immediately but she's too curious to be mad at him. She wonders what Tony is possibly reading that could take his mind away. Whatever he's reading, Destiny knows it's not something good. She makes a mental note to ask about it... if asking works with her dad.
"Dad!" Destiny yells loudly. "Dad, open this door!" Her voice reflects to her back, causing the sound sounded distant because of the thick glass in front of her. Destiny waits for him to respond. "Daddy!"
Tony Stark jumps on her seat. He looks as if he's awakened from his deep sleep. His heart is beating fast as if he just ran a marathon, but he quickly recovers. He takes a very deep breath and re-maintains his breathings. Just then he realises there's someone at the door, when he cames back to his senses.
"Des!"
He quickly gets up and walks towards the glass doors, taps on the passcode and let his daughter in.
"Dad, are you okay?" Destiny asks, worriedly. Her forehead is knitted into a deep frown while she's looking at Tony who's back-facing her. She couldn't push the image of Tony's terrified face at the back of her mind.
"I'm... I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" Tony answers, confidently. Knowing that Destiny can't see his face, he winces when he answered Destiny's question because it's a lie.
Her mind tells her to believe him as she follows Tony into the workshop, but her heart wouldn't let her. Nonetheless, she exhale, relieved. "Are you sure, you are? You didn't look like you were okay just now."
Tony approaches his table that is full with papers. In a swift motion, he gathers all the papers especially the one that made him went pale to avoid Destiny's attention. Even if he wants to warn Destiny to be careful but he couldn't let Destiny read the paper. He doesn't want to scare her. He also doesn't want to keep Destiny from doing her regular basis because of him. He knows how important for Destiny with her sports training, her work... Then, if he didn't let Destiny go out, he will feel guilty.
Concentrating his eyes on what he's doing, his mouth move to answer Destiny's question without control as if to convince his child he's okay, but when he realised something...
"What are you doing here?" Tony asks, alarmed. He pauses from doing his work, looking at Destiny in confusion and panic.
Destiny eyes Tony suspiciously. There's something in Tony's face that makes Destiny doesn't believe in him. Something is straining Tony from telling the truth. She's used with Tony having secrets and looking so scared but this one is different. She wants Tony to tell her but she couldn't ask. She's afraid to ask. But she knows, it has to do with her.
She wants to ask Tony again if he's really okay and if he needs to be alone but instead of giving Tony a space, she finds herself speak of something else. "Do you have... anything I can help?" she asks with a frown on her forehead. She walks deeper into the workshop. "I'm bored."
"Oh, well," Tony sighs to calm himself down. His mind is busy looking for words to tell Destiny to be careful out there since she's always alone. Or maybe tell her to ask John to send and pick her up from school since Destiny seems to trust him. Well, if John becomes Destiny's driver then who'll replace his place at the door?
Tony turns to his pile of work. After gathering the papers, he keeps them in the drawer. The light from the table lamp reflects on the table, a little bit blinding Tony. Then he turns and approaches a long table where a new almost-done suit is laying. Motioning Destiny to come with him, he says, "Come 'ere."
Later that moment, the father and the daughter work on the suit together. Destiny follows every instruction Tony gives and does as told. She does her part perfectly and Tony seems to have fun spending his Saturday with his daughter though he didn't show it. See, although Tony has a very high-tech gadgets and an android that could do anything for him, but with the presence of another human especially Destiny, his daughter, he finds himself enjoying his work more.
And he loves it like that.
One moment, when they are too caught with their work, the workshop becomes so boring despite that there's an rock song playing at the background. Tony decided to talk to his daughter. "Hey, how's your school?" Tony asks, after a short silence while they are combining the joint on the knee part.
"It's fine," the 16-year-old girl answers. "I mean, no one bullies me, right." She scoffs to herself. "And I have couple of tests next week and s- I think am going to be busy." Her voice becomes lower.
"Busy..." Tony trails off. "With sports..."
That makes Destiny tense in shock. Her heart, out of the blue, is thumping hard like a sledgehammer in her chest. Her face turns red and her knees suddenly become weak. She feels like her dad was scolding her. Staring wide-eyed at her father, she notices Tony glances at her. Then, she brings her gaze back down.
"Just be careful out there," Tony reminds her seriously.
