Georgina's Juices & I Talk Through A Window.

"Hi mom." I say as she looked at me furious.
"Sit down!" She said not amused.
I sit in the chair across from her. She is still wearing her nurses uniform. She has my bathrobe on her lap.
"What did I ever do to you that makes you think lying is okay. What makes you think skipping school is okay. Do you know that school gets you a job and a job gets you money and money buys clothes and food and a house. What happens when you don't have a school diploma?" I say nothing because I know it's a rhetorical question.
"You wouldn't be able to live with out money." She says. "So tell me did you think I wouldn't find out? Where did you go?" She asks curious.
"I went to the mall." I tell her avoiding her eyes.
"Was there some emergency there that couldn't wait till after school?" I shake my head.
"Give me you phone, keys and wallet. Now!" I didn't bother to argue with her. I got up and went to my purse. I pulled out my iPhone, pink keys and my fake Gucci wallet and hand them to her. I sit back down. She puts my phone in her pocket. She take the house key of the key chain and tosses it at me, then puts the other keys in her pocket. She opens my wallet. She takes out all my credit cards and money.
"No phone or car until you can pay for a good percent of it. And I'm going to hold onto you money and credit cards until you can earn them back."
"And how do you want me to do that?" I ask her.
"Well since you love the mall so much," she reached into her bag and pulled out an apron, "I got you a job at 'Georgina's Juices'" I looked at the orange and red apron with a picture of fruits all over it.
"But-"
"But nothing! You brought this on yourself. You could have gone to school. But to skip was your choice. Now this is mine. Everyday after school from four- six your going to work there and Saturday from eleven- five."
"That's not fair! Sundays my only day off and I'll be doing homework!"
"Well that's not my problem is it. Now go up stairs I don't feel like talking to you any longer." She waited for me to go. I run the stairs and enter my room. My purple room doesn't make me smile right now if it does anything it makes me sadder. I sit on my window bench for a good half an hour until something hits my window. I slide it open and Jeremy's on the other side with a hand full of rocks.
"Did you get in trouble?" He asked. I tell him everything and I don't know why, but he's just so easy to talk to I guess.
"Is this a bad time to tell you I got a accepted?"
"No. That's amazing! When do you start?"
"Tomorrow. I just came back from the school and I asked them about you and they said that we have three classes together." Wait did I just hear him properly. Did he say he asked them about ME? I swear if he wasn't watching I would faint.
"Wow that's cool." I replied. He smiled at me. I blushed. For the next ten minutes we shared out schedules and I told him about all the teachers he has.
"So I was wondering since we have the same lunch period, if you want to hang out?" I blushed intensely now. My mom yelled from the basement, "Dinner!". I looked at him.
"I would love to. I have to go. If you want to walk to school tomorrow we can."
"Ya sure." We said our good byes and I rushed down stairs. I can't wait till tomorrow. Who knew that on such a crappy day, one guy could make me feel so happy.
