"Where are you going?" Tiana looked at me on the window sill.

"I have to meet someone. Later." I ducked out of the window. Before climbing up the fire escape, I decided to go into the ally. I just did. I don't know why. I started absent mindedly practicing unsheathing my claws. It was weird. My hands had fingernails, but those fingernails were claws, and like a normal cat, I could make them longer.

"Luna!" Mikey climbed down the fire escape.

"Hey mikey." I was about to say something else, but I saw his brothers. That's when something went off. I felt my fur bristle, and my tail fluffed up. I bit back a hiss.

"This is that girl we saved?" The red masked one looked at me disbelievingly.

"That's me." I tried to sound cheerful.

"Luna, this is raph,Leo, and donnie. They wanted to meet you!" He said cheerfully.

"I see." I felt my claws unsheath. They must have noticed, they carefully reached for their weapons.

"I won't hurt you. If you don't hurt me. I'm just getting used to instincts." I tried to speak clearly. Hostility just coated my voice.

"So your instincts are saying to kill us?" Raph scoffed. A growl rose in my throat.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to be alone. Sorry mikey." I really didn't want new people in my life at the moment. I checked the streets, then ran across the street into another ally.

"You seem interesting." A human stood on a fire escape.

"Who are you?" I narrowed my eyes.

"Karai. I saw you talking to the turtles. You didn't seem friendly." She jumped down.

"I'm not in the mood. Go read a book or whatever you do." I growled.

"Kitty need a mouse toy?" She mocked. I couldn't take it. I was about to do another rant, but she was gone. Why was everything wrong? In fact, why was I acting thus way?
