Yoongi's Pov

"Because I know you would never catch me"

Her words caught me off guard. Does she think that I would not accept her feelings? Do I look like an emotionless human? I pulled her close and I could hear her gasp. She looked at me shocked and I hugged her.

"And who said that?", I asked her as I felt her body pressed against mine. I could feel her loud heartbeat probably at the proximity and mine is no less. I could feel goosebumps with her frame engulfed in my arms. Though I am enjoying this moment, I am also nervous.

"So, what do you say? You will catch me then?", she asked locking our eyes and I could see the curiosity in them. I brushed her hair to a side which is cutting my view of her face. They are wet because of the tears.

"I will", I blurted and she looked at me, surprised.

"Lil meow meow", she called and I kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes in response and I smiled at that. She surely has the same feelings for me. I guess I did a good thing falling for her. But I don't want to confess it to her so simple.  She deserves happiness and something special would surely make her feel delighted

"Shh Sun Bear. Just stay like this", I pulled her close and hugged her tight. She reciprocated the hug with equal emotion and I brushed her hairs. She is someone who should be treated with the utmost care and delicacy. 

She slowly drifted to sleep and I could hear her little snores. I positioned myself so that she could sleep comfortably on me. I lied down on the couch and let her lie on me. She looks so innocent and peaceful when she sleeps. Otherwise, her mouth will work like a broken tape recorder.

"Sun Bear, wake up. You will have to go to the convenience store, I think", I woke her up slowly but she snuggled into me more.

"5 more minutes", she spoke in a sloppy tone and I chuckled at her cuteness.

"Jin Ae ah, wake up now", I patted her arm and she slowly opened her eyes. She looked at herself and then at me. As if hit by something, she immediately got up and composed herself. She looked down flustered and I loved the sight in front of me.

"Umm, I...I ... will ...get... ready", she stuttered and rushed to her room without any other word. I smiled at her embarrassed self. She looked really cute.

After five minutes, she walked out dressed casually and I let out a smile. Thank god, she changed that dress. She looked really beautiful but the fact that she dressed for him makes me really angry. 

"I will go", she spoke without looking at me and I stood up. She gave a confusing expression and I held her hand. She widened her eyes at my touch.

"Let's go", I pulled her out and locked the door. She was still looking at me with a confusing stare.

"Let me walk you till the store sun Bear", I mouthed and let out a soft smile.

"Why?", she asked and I patted her head.

"Because I want to", I stated and pulled her along. She didn't speak a word and walked alongside. The store is near and I guess she is feeling uneasy to talk. How could she? When she just confessed her feelings for me and I didn't even tell anything back. Just wait for some time Sun Bear. Only I know how badly I want to tell you what I feel.

"Hmm, I will go then", she spoke and I nodded. I looked at her manager and waved my hand towards. I still remember his words when we met for the first time.

"I have seen her for 2 years. Life has always been cruel for her yet she didn't stop fighting. I was scared when she told me that she would be living alone. I know it might be quite weird that I am asking you this. But please don't trouble her. She already had her share of pain in life, please don't hurt her, even by accident"

"I won't"

I walked back to the house and decided to cook for her. I should have hit that bastard more for kissing her. Idiot! Does forcing himself on her make him think that she would accept that asshole? I shook my head and continued with cooking. I completed making seaweed soup, kimchi fried rice, and stir-fried potatoes. I smiled in satisfaction as I put them in bowls.

I looked at the time and walked outside to the store. This is the time she usually comes out. I opened the orange-flavored candy and put that in my mouth. I almost forgot about cigarettes after promising her about it. Gosh! This Sun Bear verily changed my life.

"Sun Bear", I called her out and she smiled looking at me. She walked to me and I smiled at her little frame. Gosh! This woman is making my heart flutter even without doing anything. Wait! Is this me? Am I Min Yoongi? Fuck! I have fallen hard for her.

"Let's go. We will just have ramen tonight", she spoke and as she was about to advance her step, I held her wrist. She looked at me in bewilderment and when I entwined my hands with her, she looked out of the world.

"Lil meow meow", she could only call out that. I am in love with the effect I have on her.

"Let's go", I walked along with her to the house.

"Did you cook something? Why do I smell kimchi?", she sniffed as if trying to smell and I chuckled at that.

"I cooked dinner already. Now don't behave like a dog", I tapped her forehead and she let out a frown. I got the dishes and she helped in setting up the table. We started eating and I could see her relishing my dishes. I am proud of myself here.

"Don't forget the medicines", I reminded her and she nodded. I checked if she is actually taking them or not and finally sighed in relief as she gulped the tablets. I just hope she recovers soon.

We watched a movie in silence. Silence in the sense, we didn't talk anything serious or random. She was almost sleeping on my shoulder and seeing that, I switched off the TV. I caressed her face and kissed her forehead.

I carried her in my arms and walked to her room. I placed on her bed and turned to go but was stopped when she held my hand.

"Lil meow meow", she called and I smiled at her.

"Do you know that I like you?", she asked and I wondered why she is bringing that up now.

"I know", I answered caressing her face and she frowned.

"It's okay to fall for me than that guy", I stated and she just pressed her lips into a thin line.

"Will you stay here tonight? Please", she asked and I nodded. I don't know why she is asking that but I know today was a tiring day for her. That encounter with that bastard and her confession of feelings towards me, it must have been a long day.

"Would you mind if I hug you in sleep?", she asked. It got my cheeks to turn hot at that request. How can I deny cuddling with the girl I like?

"Come here", I plopped on the bed and pulled her close to me. I noticed her blush at my action and then she snuggled closer to me. I positioned myself such that her head rests on my chest, my arm snakes around her waist and the other one around her shoulder.

 I never felt so complete until this moment.

"Good Morning", I greeted her as she opened her eyes. Jin Ae never looked so beautiful than when she is in my arms, so close. So close that I could hear her heart beating just so similar to mine. She looked at me and then at herself.

"Don't be embarrassed.", I told her even before she could assume something. She smiled at me and got out of my hold. Ugh! I am missing the warmth now.

"Sun Bear", I called her and she looked at me, with a mixture of shy and awkwardness. 

"Let's go out today", I told her and she looked at me astonished.

"You heard it right Jin Ae ah. We will be going out today. You are not going to that bastard's café from now on.  We will search for another job. For now, get ready. We are going out", I told her and she smiled a bit.

"Are you asking me on a date?", she asked and I didn't utter any word.

"Just get ready fast okay? I will be waiting outside", I mouthed and walked outside her room. I rushed to my room and freshened myself. I looked at my clothes and picked the best ones out of it. I checked myself in the mirror and adjusted my shirt. I think I am okay now. Never in my life, I have dressed to impress a girl.

 Hmph! What are you doing to me, Sun Bear?

I walked out and waited for her. I was scrolling down my phone and replied to the messages of my members. They were mostly like reminding me that I have to come by tomorrow. I sighed and remembered that tomorrow will be my last day in this house.

I will miss the fights and arguments I do with her and eating my meals with her. I will miss being taken care of and taking care of her. I am scared if she misses taking her medication on time and stresses herself. 

I will confess it to her today and make sure to visit her once in a while. I will call and remind her when to take medicines. I will take her out on small dates and make sure she is happy. If possible, I will help her with her sister's fees. I will make sure she is happy and try to fill in the void she is missing in her life. Fate had already been cruel to her, not anymore.

"Yoongi", she called as she walked out of her room, snapping my chain of thoughts. I looked at her dressed nicely and looked even prettier than yesterday. Because this time she dressed for me. She looked ethereal in the simple floral dress.

"Beautiful", I blurted and she blushed at those words. I walked to her and tucked her hairs behind her ears.

"You look so pretty Jin Ae ah. Nothing like that Sun Bear", I uttered and I could feel her cheeks going red. What to do, I fell for that Sun Bear only.

"Shall we go now?", I held her hands.

"What about breakfast?", she asked and I smacked her head lightly.

"We will eat it outside", I told her and she smiled.

"Yah! Did you get your medicines with you?", I asked her and she shook her head in negation. Aish! This girl.

"I will not take you out unless you get them with you", I spoke in a serious tone and she rushed inside to get them. I smiled at her cuteness. I just hope that the tumor gets treated completely.

We walked out of the house to a nearby restaurant and I ordered the breakfast which includes eggs. Although she insisted on paying, I paid for her.

"Why don't you tell that this is a date?", she pouted and I tapped her head. I didn't speak any further. She just scowled at me and waited for the food.
