Yoongi's Pov

I woke up and looked at the phone screen and there were 3 missed calls from Sun Bear ten minutes ago. Why did she call me? I looked at the time. It's the time she usually goes to the store. I called her back but she didn't respond. Did she fall unconscious? Did she get that pain again? Oh My God! Where is she now?

I quickly got out of my bed and rushed to her store. She was not there. Even the manager was worried since she is behind time than usual. He wrote me the address of her company where she goes for cleaning and I thanked him for that. He gave me his number to inform me about her whereabouts.

I rushed to the company and asked the receptionist about the cleaners. She told me that all of them left. I walked out of the door in haste. Where must she have gone? And then I heard a dog barking at the lawn. It was barking continuously. Is it injured? I walked to it and I saw a bench. There's a girl on the bench and I know who it is. Gosh!

I immediately ran to her and held her. I called her but she didn't respond to it. I carried her in my arms and called out for an ambulance. Tears streamed down my eyes seeing her like that. She looked lifeless. I feel so guilty for not lifting the call when she requires me the most. Why the fuck did I sleep so loud?

The ambulance came and I boarded her in it. They started checking her pulse and doing something on her. I just hope she is safe and could be normal again. And I suddenly remembered I don't have enough money for the medical emergency now. Fuck!

I don't have an option but to depend on him now. I called him and waited for him to answer. Please answer it hyung.

"Jin hyung, I need your help", I cut the formalities of saying hello.

"Yoongi, what happened? Are you alright?", he asked me sounding concerned. I feel so ashamed to ask him but right now nothing is important that Jin Ae's life.

"Jin hyung, I need some money. I am in an emergency", I pleaded him.

"Why? What happened? Is everything alright with you? Are you okay?", he flashed the questions in a rap.

"No, hyung. Nothing happened to me. I need it for a friend. Please. I will pay you back", I feel like crying looking at her. Please wake up Jin Ae ah.

"Friend? Nevermind. Where are you?", he asked

"I am in the ambulance right now. I will text you the hospital name and address. Please be fast", I requested him.

"Yeah! I will be coming. Don't worry okay?", he said and hung the call. I messaged him the address and he mentioned that he has already started.

We reached the hospital and they got the stretcher for her. They took her to the emergency room and the doctor was called. I just hope she is fine. I just hope she will be awake and irritate me again. A lone tear escaped my eye and I wiped it.

I was outside the ER and Jin hyung called me that he reached. I told him where I was and he came to me in a minute. I just hugged him without thinking anything and he rubbed my back. I sobbed like a kid in his arms remembering the unconscious Jin Ae in my arms.

"Yoongi ah don't cry. Nothing will happen okay?", he comforted me but I was scared. I was scared if the doctor comes out and says we can't save her again. I would blame myself for her condition. I should have lifted her call, what if I made it late by some minutes. The thought itself brings goosebumps on my body.

After a minute of loud sobbing in Jin hyung's hug, I pulled out. Hyung looked very much worried and confused.

"She is Jin Ae, my landlady", I told him and he looked at me to continue.

"She was a good landlady and treated me nicely. She is too young to be called a landlady. She is younger than me.", I smiled remembering her little figure.

"She cooked me meals often and we became good friends though we hated each other's presence at first. She is one of the strongest girls I have ever seen. Hiding all her pain behind a smile. She has a terrific past hyung, yet she decided to live and fight. Unlike most of us who chose to give up", I told him and he smiled

"She must be a great girl then", he mouthed and I nodded.

"She taught me how to live even when life kicks you so hard. She made me realize giving up and being unmotivated is not the option. She made me lose the fear of befriending people again hyung. I just can't see her like this", I cried and he hugged me.

"She called me hyung. She called me to save her. But I was an asshole to sleep at that time. I should have lifted the call but I slept hyung. I am scared if I am late", I expressed my fear and he rubbed my back.

"When you said she is a great girl, I am sure is strong enough to fight for life Yoongi ah. Don't blame yourself, at least not before we know how she is. Let's just hope that she is safe", he consoled me and I did the same. Hope is my only last option. Minutes passed by and I became restless with each passing second. I just want to see her now.

"Are you Miss Jin Ae's guardian?", a nurse called and I nodded

"The doctor is looking for you", she told and directed us to the doctor. He looked serious and I crossed my fingers. Just tell me that she is fine.

"She is fine. Don't worry", the first words from his mouth calmed my inner self which is ready to die with the tension.

"But she is fine for the time being", he continued and I looked at Jin hyung.

"Please walk into my cabin", he directed us to his cabin and we followed him. What does he mean by for the time being? Is her condition serious?

"She just had a serious concussion a few minutes ago. Did she face something like this before?", he asked me and I nodded my head.

"She blacked out before and her vision usually gets blurred at that time. She always cries that it pains a lot. Her head pains a lot and her body feels numb at times", I answered and the nurse came with a file. The doctor took the file and examined the documents in his hand.

"The first thing we did was to do the MRI scan. Since when is she having these symptoms?", he asked me.

"I am not sure about that but I think the severity has increased recently", I stated and he shook his head.

"What are you to her?", he asked

"I am her boyfriend", I answered and Jin hyung looked at me, shocked and confused. I just can't tell him that I am her tenant and needs to know about her condition. It would be absurd.

"Well Mr, to be honest, you are lucky since you have got her here at the right time. She is in the very initial stage of developing a tumor in her brain. There is a chance of shrinkage of her brain and the symptoms are excruciating headache, vision blurring, and might lose her ability of abstract thinking", he explained making me gulp down the throat. Is she having a tumor now? Will she be okay later?

"Don't worry. It can be treated since it's in the initial stage and doesn't require surgery. But if the size of the tumor grows, we need to do the surgery at any cost", he warned and I nodded.

"Did she have any kind of traumatic incident in recent days? I don't want to intervene in the patient's personal life but it could be helpful if I know better", he stated. I remember her telling me that she lost her mother very recently.

"She has lost someone precious", I stated and he nodded understandingly.

"Is she crying every day about it? Or is she displaying her despair regarding the loss?", he asked and I shook my head in negation. She cried to me once but that's all. She never showed her weak side again.

"That's a serious case. She must be troubling herself on the inside then. She must be hiding all the pain to herself and must be taking the stress. It could get really dangerous", he explained. It then hit me how she rarely smiles so often and often keeps things to herself.

"And as I have examined her body, it was less immune and really weak. I recommend that she takes more rest. Physical work could be an additional cause for the stress", he detailed me and I nodded. Aish! This girl! See what she got to herself. Does she think she is a superwoman? Why does she have to work so much when she is not well? What if something would have happened to her?

"I am prescribing her some medicines and I would like you to bring her for a regular check-up", he spoke and handed me the file. I bowed to the doctor and we walked outside. Jin hyung went to pay for the treatment and also to buy the medicines.

She was shifted to a general cabin and I walked to her. I looked at her unconscious face and caressed it. You made me worried so much Jin Ae. I was so worried if I could never call you Sun Bear again. I was so worried if I would lose you. I was so scared pabo.

"Please don't do this again Sun Bear", I bent down to kiss her forehead. Only God knows how hard my pulse beat seeing her unconscious, leaving her to get treated in the ER. Never in my life, I got stupefied like I did today. You made my heart jump out of its place Jin Ae ah. I brushed her hair and smiled.

"She looks really weak", Jin hyung handed me the cover of medicines.

"I know and she never takes care of herself", I sighed holding her hand and chuckled at how bony her hands are.

"Yoongi ah, I know I should not raise this question now. But I wanted to know", Hyung started and I gestured him to continue.

"Do you like her?", he asked and I looked at her. I could never deny the fact that I am attracted to her. I feel so novel around her and get engulfed in a completely new emotion. I got interested in her, I felt jealous when she talked to her manager, trusted her with my past, and was worried like hell because of her. The first and the only woman who made me feel like that.

"I don't know", I answered him. I don't want to tell him yet about my feelings towards Sun Bear. This is not the right time.

"Don't deny it, at least not to yourself. The way you freaked out and cried, it tells it all. I won't budge in more but if you feel like you don't have confidence about it, don't hesitate to share. Okay?", he placed his hand on my shoulder and got up.

"Buy her some healthy food and fruits", he shoved some money into my pocket even before I could decline.

"Don't worry, I will take them back with interest later", he patted my head and I smiled. I feel so ashamed to betray him when he cares about me so much. I am so sorry hyung.

"Take care of her okay? I need to go since the members are worried about my sudden disappearance. I will tell them what had happened", he spoke and I nodded. There is no need to hide about this.

"Thank you so much hyung", I got up and hugged him tightly.

"Yah yah! You are crushing me", he pulled out and ruffled my hair.

"Don't hesitate to call me if you need help and remember you are coming back to the dorm the next week.", he reminded and I nodded. I know I have to go back this weekend. He went from the room and I looked at Sun Bear. I brushed her hair and held her hand. Entwining my fingers with hers, I let out a smile. I just can't escape.
