Wait- Lucy's POV

Lucy's POV-

I stayed in the corner silently as Kale questioned her. I was ready to kill. I could feel the carnal urge to tear her to shreds seeping out from my wolf. I wanted to kill her lying, conniving, manipulative ass.

"What was going to be your end game?" Kale finally snarled at the girl.

"To kill you and take over your ragtag pack," Raven spoke chillingly. "It was supposed to be easy! That stupid bitch wasn't supposed to be here!"

Kale growled loudly at her.

"How did you mask yourself from me and the Moon Goddess?" I asked after completely ignoring her insult.

"Hm... wouldn't you like to know," she said snottily.

Kale growled loudly, but I cut him off by yanking the girl out of her chair and breaking a finger easily. She screamed loudly as I held her up by her hair. All the warriors that were in there were looking at me with wide eyes.

"I'm sorry, maybe you didn't hear me," I spoke easily. "How did you mask yourself from me and the Moon Goddess?"

She didn't say anything.

"I've already told you; we can do this the easy way or the hard way."

She still said nothing.

I looked at Kale and gave him a wide smile. I knew my eyes were golden with bloodlust and anger.

"Whatever you want, Luce..." he answered my unspoken question. He was giving me permission to tear her apart. "We got pretty much everything else out of her. There wasn't much left to figure out from their idiotic foiled plan. Plus, she's not important enough to know anything of their more complex plans of attack. She meaningless to me."

"It-It'll hurt you!" Raven spoke rushed. "We're bonded by magic; it'll hurt you if she kills me!"

"Funnily enough, I think I'll live. Besides, I really don't think it will. I haven't felt any of your hurt yet, so why would it start now?" Kale said logically.

"It will hurt when I die! It will!"

"Call Evanna in here. She'll probably know," I said quickly.

I broke another finger of hers. She screamed once again. "Did you feel anything, Kale?"

"Not a single thing," he shrugged.

I laughed animalistically. "Good, that means that if we can't kill her... Well, let's just say she won't get out of here."

Raven screamed again at my words.

"Now, where were we?" I asked her. "Oh yes, how were you masked from me?!"

She refused to answer.

"How were you masked from me?!" With each word I broke another finger.

"Okay! Okay!" Raven whimpered.

I dropped my hand from her hair and let her melt down to the floor in pain. "Speak," I told her with my arms crossed. "Or I'll move onto bigger bones."

"I thought that you were supposed to be Mother Theresa or some shit?!" She yelled at me. "The merciful and tolerant Oracle."

"You see, I am," I said with a smile. "I gave you many chances. I gave you plenty of time. I denied myself the kill over and over again. However, you've mistaken my kindness for weakness, and that, you dumb bitch, will be your last mistake." I picked her up by her throat as I spoke. "You put my pack in danger, tried to steal my mate, and even pretended that my story was yours. You tried to destroy my pack. For that, I will kill you. How I kill you is up to you..." I paused when I dropped her back to the ground. "Now... How did you mask yourself?"

"Darcy," I heard someone say behind me.

"Shut up, traitor," Raven screeched.

I stomped on her throat causing air to cease.

"Darcy is their powerful dark witch. She is completely reliant upon dark magic; she pulls it from the underworld..." Evanna said quickly. "She developed a powerful cloaking spell that is supposed to block things from other magics. I was unaware that it blocked the Moon Goddess as well." Her voice shook as she spoke.

"It might not!" I instantly said. "It just blocks me from seeing it through the Moon Goddess. Just for now... I am still developing my Oracle powers."

Evanna breathed out a sigh of relief.

"Raven said that if she dies then I will feel it too. Is that true? And if it is, will it kill me or just hurt? Because I can handle hurt if it means ridding the earth of that," Kale said with a dirty look to the girl who was spluttering on the ground trying to breathe again.

Evanna laughed heartily. "You told them that? You are ridiculous!" She spoke to the girl.

Raven tried to yell at the younger witch, but it sounded just like little gasps of air as she tried to speak.

"Hah!" Sam laughed. "You crushed her windpipe! She's so much more tolerable without a voice. She'll probably suffocate soon, though. So, we need to get this show on the road..."

"The only thing you'll feel, Alpha, is relief and even more feelings for Lucine. Without her fake bond there in the way, the real mate-bond will take over. It won't be unpleasant at all," Evanna said with a nod.

"Thank you, Eva," I said sweetly. "I suggest you leave now if you don't want to witness a blood bath."

Evanna looked at me in shock due to the nickname then gave me a wide smile. "Thank you, Lu..." Then she walked out of the cells.

I smirked evilly at the girl who was gasping for air through her collapsing esophagus. "You know, I've basically already killed your sorry ass. I hope you savor these last few moments. I do believe I should give others a chance with you in your remaining moments, wouldn't you say?"

She tried to scream.

"Alpha, Betas, she is all yours!" I told Sam, Wes, and Kale.

"Really?" Wes asked.

"Absolutely... She hurt everyone. Have at it, so long as that is okay with Kale?"

"Oh yes, that is okay with me. I've already had me words with the she-devil," Kale said as he motioned them forward. He pulled me to him. "Sam... When it's done, remove the head. We have to gift that to her pack, after all." With those final words, Kale led me out into the sunny day.

"Are you ready to get the celebration plans in order?" He asked me kindly. "We do have to celebrate our victories... and my freedom!"

I smiled at him and nodded. It was a few moments later when we were almost back to the packhouse that he stopped abruptly. I stopped too and looked at him expectantly.

With no words, his lips were on mine devouring me completely in pleasurable kisses. I was caught off guard, but certainly not opposed. His kisses felt desperate and passionate.

"Holly shit," he breathed out as rested his head against mine.

I agreed with the sentiment.

"And I thought that I loved you before," he said looking me in the eyes honestly. "Fuck..." He breathed out again as his lips were back on mine in a haste.

----

"Tonight, we celebrate! We celebrate our victory in The North, we celebrate our victory on our own land, we celebrate our new guests, and we celebrate the death of the lying traitor! We celebrate the victory of our real Luna against the imposter! Tonight, we celebrate our pack!" Kale spoke with a raised glass.

Everyone cheered loudly as the festivities began.

I walked around the area slowly watching everyone celebrate. Tensions were running high because of the new pack members that were still trying to integrate... my pack members.

Fuck. They were both my packs...

"No, no love..." Kale whispered in my ear as he came up behind me. "Please don't worry over things. Not tonight. Not now." He wrapped his arms around me from behind and nuzzled my neck.

I leaned back on him and nodded.

"Look at all of this, Luce... it is so beautiful," he whispered. "And it's all because of you, my beautiful girl."

I shook my head.

"It is," he said as he turned me around to him. "If you hadn't of come along... I don't know what I'd be doing. I don't know where I'd be. A-and I almost threw it all away because I could see through a fucking spell."

"Stop, Kale," I said quietly and touched his cheek. "Please, stop. None of that, not anymore."

He nodded at me and pecked my lips gently. "As long as you stop worrying," he replied.

"I mean it, Kale. No more of that talk. It's in the past. It's done."

"You two are so cute that it makes me sick," Sam said with an eyeroll.

"Ya got that damn right. It's nasty," Wes agreed.

I rolled my eyes as I giggled at them. Kale rolled his eyes too and kissed my cheek.

"I guess you two are getting along much better than any of the others are," I commented.

"As it turns out, Wes is hilarious."

"Thank you," Wes said with a laugh. "And Sam is a good guy. Easy to get along with and everything. It'll be easy to work together when you two finally mate."

"Can I ask... Why are you so much older than her?" Kale asked after a moment of banter. "I mean, I know that I am six years older, but you have to be like at least ten years older than her. Betas are usually so close in age to the Alpha. They're supposed to be best friends..."

"He's eleven years older actually," Weston answered as he came up beside us all. "Our Alpha and Luna had an extremely hard time conceiving. At the time, we thought that the Moon Goddess was killing off our pack or something... She was actually waiting to give us this wonderful gift." He smiled at Lucy and put an arm around her. "Even with such an age gap, Lucy and Wesley were inseparable until the attack."

"I didn't know that they were even trying to conceive. They were so surprised when-" Kale stopped talking abruptly with wide eyes.

"So, you do remember that..." Weston said with a smirk.

"When what?"

"I um... the first time I ever met your mother, I was five..."

I beckoned him to continue.

"He told her that she was pregnant with you, Lucine. He patted her stomach, and said you that you were his," Weston said with a pointed look.

"You never told me about that?" I accused.

"I didn't remember until just now... it literally just popped back into my head," he said, sounding confused.

Sam snorted with a headshake. "Y'all have a fucked-up story, you know?"

I burst out laughing in agreement.

"You two go have fun. Let off some steam and show everyone that you are truly mates. Don't worry about any of that other stuff tonight. Just bask in your strengthened bond," Wes said with a smile.

"And Kale... I'd be accepting her soon if I were you. Tensions are only bound to get higher before we unite, it'll make things a bit more difficult in the long run," Weston said pointedly.

"I'm waiting on her now... We can all wait a thousand years if that is what she needs," Kale clarified before he took my hand and led me to dance.

"You mean that? That you'll wait?" I asked when he twirled me and brought me close again.

"Forever, Luce."

"Weston is right, tensions are going to be rising..." I said looking around.

"Don't listen to that. I don't want you to rush yourself because of the packs. Everything is fine. The tension is okay and natural."

"What if I say that I'm ready right now?" I asked slowly.

"Then I might take you right here," Kale said as he brought me closer to him.

"I'm scared," I finally admitted.

"Me too..." He said as he tucked my hair behind my ear. "But I know that with you... everything is going to be okay."

I threw my arms around him and kissed him with everything I had. I wanted him.

----

"Kale?" I asked him as I looked out of his bedroom window watching the sun come up. I knew pretty much everyone else was still asleep.

"Yes?" He asked as he looked at me from bed.

"I'm ready," I said slowly.

"Ready for what?" He asked with his head tilted.

"To accept you. I don't want to waste time when I know that it's you. I want you."

Kale sat up quickly in attention and stared at me. "Luce, if this is about what Weston said-"

"No, it's not," I said walking over to him. "It's about me and you."

"Are you sure? It's been less than a day without Raven, and I haven't even begun to make it up to you. I just-"

"Do you want me?" I asked hesitantly.

"Absolutely, all of you. Everything that you'll give me, I want." He answered immediately as his hands raked through my tangly hair.

"Even the bad parts? The parts that are damaged? Kale, I've... I have some rough shadows. I've been broken in a lot of ways. I have a dark past; a tragic past."

"I want to heal that. I want to make you understand that you aren't broken. You're mine."

"Kale," I said shakily. "Kiss me."

He did just as I said. His lips devoured me instantly as he slowly backed me up to the bed. He quickly laid me down on it right in the middle. His eyes took me in as they flashed between his wolf form and human form.

"Luce, if you want to stop... tell me. No matter what, I'll stop." I nodded wordlessly. "I'm an Alpha," he said gently.

I snorted unattractively. "I know, so am I," I reminded him softly as I traced a line up his t-shirt.

"Lucy," Kale warned as he stopped my hand from moving. "I am an Alpha," he said forcefully. "I'm possessive, greedy, and I can be rough."

"I know how Alphas are, Kale, everyone does."

"I don't want to scare you," he said slowly.

"As long as you listen to me if I say something, you won't. I can handle it, Kale. I can handle you." I told him as I grabbed the collar of his shirt. "Now, are we going to talk or are you going to make me yours?"

Those words propelled him forward as he caught my lips in a bruising kiss. I felt his hands on my body, and I wanted nothing else for the rest of my life. I only wanted him. I wanted all of him.

Wasting no time, he ripped his own shirt that I had slept in off my body. His eyes traced my skin taking in my upper body. He took a moment just to look giving me chills everywhere.

His hand finally reached out and touched a long scar on my torso. He moved up to one on my collarbone. Then he touched the one in between my breasts.

"What happened?" He asked as his feather-light touch roamed over my scarred body.

"A lot," I sighed. "You really don't want to know..."

He accepted my answer with a slight frown. His lips touched my neck a second later leaving me a moaning mess as he kissed, licked, and sucked various spots. His lips quickly moved over all my upper body, leaving no parts untouched. It felt good.

I watched him remove his own shirt with hooded eyes before his lips returned to my body. His shirtless chest was pressing against my skin making me shiver in delight. I wanted everything from him. I wanted him.

I carefully removed my pants as he was busy kissing me. Not out of impatience, but because I didn't want him to rip them off like the shirt.

Kale was pleased at my removal of clothes and quickly moved his mouth lower and lower. His eyes were closed as he was simply enjoying the feel and taste of my body against his tongue. I was enjoying it too.

His scent surrounded me completely and kept me grounded. His touch gave me a warm tingly feeling and didn't let me remember anything but him.

Only him... just Kale.

His eyes met mine briefly as he lowered his head in between my legs making me part them even wider. His tongue came out and he licked my core one time.

However, with just one swipe of his tongue, his hands tightened around my hips as he growled loudly.

"Why the fuck do you smell like him?"
