"Ponyboy wake up!" I yell as I shake Ponyboy.

He opens his eyes and smiles, "good morning Lucy."

"Morning Pone," I smile. "Now hurry up we have to get ready school."

"Cheer leading try outs?" He asks.

"Yes!" I sqeual happily. "I can't wait! You know I'm dating the captain of the football team."

"Randy's a jackass," Sodapop appears in the doorway.

I grab a pillow and throw it at him, "shut up, you don't even know."

"He jumps greasers," Soda shurgs. "What else do I need to know?"

"He stopped," I tell him. "He also stopped drinking. He did it for me. Just give him another chance, please Pepsi."

He tosses me the pillow back, "only for you doll."

"New nickname?" I ask.

"Angel just wasn't working any more doll," he smirks before walking away.

"You two are cute," Pony smiles.

I hit the side of his head playfully, "we're not dating and never will be. We're just best friends and you know that. I love Randy."

"Sure you do," Pony winks. "I know your game."

"Shut up and get ready," I laugh as I walk out of his room. I yawn as I walk down stairs in only a t-shirt being the stupid ass I am. As I walk past Dally his smacks my butt like he always does. "Dally! I told you to stop."

"Sorry princess," he smiles. "It's just smackable. By the way loving the look."

I roll my eyes, "pajamas."

"You should go out like that, with me," he winks.

I groan in disgust, "pig!"

"Sorry princess, you're just too damn cute," he smirks as I walk away.

"Whatever Dallas," I yell as I walk away. I walk into the kitchen to see Darry cooking up breakfast as Sodapop and Steve arm wrestle. "Morning Darbear. Whatcha cooking? Hey Stevie, you gonna beat Sodapop?"

"Hey! Soda yells at the same time as Steve yells, "you know it."

"Five cents Steve wins," I bet Two-bit.

"I ain't making a bet I know you'll win," Two-bit laughs.

"Thanks for the support guys," Sodapop jokes.

"No problem," I smirk as I look at him making him smirk. My attention turns back to Two-bit, "c'mon whimp make the bet."

"Fine," he gives in shaking my head. I smile as I watch the match play out until Stevie slams Soda's hand down.

"Pay up!" I yell before Two-bit slams a nickle in my hand. I run over to Steve kissing his cheek, "yay! Go Stevie!"

Steve smiles, "any time Lucy."

I glance at the clock releasing I only have twenty minute left. I dash upstairs leaving the gang in laughter like every other morning. I quickly throw on a white tank top, skinny jeans, black converse, and a flannel. I do my make-up with the little amount I normally put on, bronzer, mascara, and eyeshadow. I walk downstairs after my hair is done and look at the gang, "with five minutes to spare. Where's Johnnycakes?"

"Right here Lucy," Johnny smiles as he walks into the Curtis house. "Ready?"

"Yup. Pony?" Johnny and I turn to him.

"Coming," he smiles. "Two-bit and Steve are ya'll coming today?"

"Nah, I'm taking an extra shift at the DX today," Steve says as he puts his DX shirt on and Soda comes out of the shower in only a towell, but that's the usual for us.

I run over to him hugging him, "bye Pepsi, I'll see you after cheer try-out."

"Later Doll," he smiles. "If it's early enough stop by the DX?"

"Of course," I smile. "You coming today Two?"

He shrugs, "I got nothing better to do."

Two-bit, Johnny, Ponyboy, and I all walk to school laughing, joking, smiling, and talking. My shedule is simple.
Gym with Two-bit (we just laugh and "run")
Math with Johnny and Ponyboy
Science with Randy, Bob, Sammie, Steve (when he's here), and Cherry
Lunch with Johnny, Ponyboy, Two-bit, Sammie, Steve (when he's here), Cherry, Randy, Bob, Marcia, Aj, Brooklyn, Lacey, Alison, and Claire.
English with Randy, Johnny, Claire, and Ponyboy
Colinary with Cherry, Lacey, Alison, Claire, Brooklyn, Aj, and Marcia. (all the cheerleaders)
Free period with Two-bit, Ponyboy, Johnny, and Steve (when he's here)
Then we get dismissed.

I walk over to the boys when I get to lunch, "hey guys what's up?"

"Nothing much," Johnny shrugs.

"I'm outta here. Cover for me," Two-bit says as he gets up.

"Anytime Mickey," I yell as I laugh then turn back to the boys. "Just me and my boys."

Randy walks over pecking my lips, "can I watch you try out?"

"Randy!" I gasp as I smack him playfully. I turn and look at my boys, "can you believe him? I mean he knows the way the girls and I lo-"

"All skin boys, all skin," Randy bites his lips, but Johnny and Pony just give each other this look. I know just seeing it, it's time for Randy to leave.

I stand up pecking Randy's lips, but he grabs my butt in the doing. When we pull apart I look into his eyes, "I think it's time for you for go. I wanna hang with my boys. I love you Randy. Are we still going on for that date Friday?"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world babe," he smirks as he walks off.

I turn to my greaseballs, "happy you two?"

They both let out a breath, "yea thanks."

I ruffle up their hair, "no problem boys. I love you two and you know it. I'd do anything for ya'll even if it means shoeing off my boyfriend. I'll be back."

I run over to my loving boyfriend as the bell rings, "oh my god Randy!"

He picks me up in a bear hug spinning me around kissing the top of my head, "I had to say goodbye to my best girl."

"Awe!" The cheerleaders coo.

"Oh my god Bob!" Cherry yells as she runs over to Bob.

Bob hugs Cherry, but nothing like Randy and I, "Randy wanted to visit Lucy and I figured I come to see my favorite girl."

"Awe," Cherry smiles. "I love you."

I turn back to Randy, "where were we?"

"I love you baby girl," he smiles as he kisses my forehead. When his lips get taken off my forhead he places his forhead on mine as he looks me in the eyes, "how did I get so lucky?"

I blush slightly, "the real question is, how did I get so lucky. I love you too Randy, with all my heart."

"C'mon Randy," Bob shouts.

"I gotta go baby. I'll see you soon. I love you," he smiles as he walks away.

"Bye love!" I yell as he walks away. "I love you too."

As he walks away the girls and I warm up. We all do our cheers and then because, Cherry's captain she annouces all the cheerleaders. They've been the same since freshman year, Aj, Marcia, Cherry (of course), Lacey, Alison, Claire, Brooklyn, and me. "Bye girls!" I yell as I run out of the gym. Off to see my Pepsi-cola.

I run happily into the DX to see Sodapop with his girlfriend Sandy, "hey Pepsi-cola. Hey Sandy. Stevie, what's up?"

"Hey doll," Soda smiles.

"What's up Lucy?" Sandy asks happily.

"Nothing much. Did you get on the squad?" Stevie walks over ot me as Sodapop goes back to talking with Sandy. I don't like Sandy, I think she's fake. I also know she cheats on Sodapop, I caught her, but I swore not to tell him. I think she's fake. I also HATE the fact that when she's with Soda, he ignores me. I just don't like her, but he loves her and I mean he hates Randy, but I love him. I guess it just kind of happens. "Of course I got on the squad Stevie."

Soda smiles as he yells happily, "go Lucy!"

Sandy gives me a dirty look, but says in a fake sweet voice, "good job Lucy."

"Thanks Sandy," I act nice. It's for Soda's sake.

When we walk into the house I smile at all the boys, "hey boys. What's up?"

"Nothing much," the boys respond at all different times.

"Well I gonna go to sleep," I smile at the boys. "Night."

"Goodnight Lucy," the smiles.

I walk over to Sodapop hugging him, "night Pepsi-Cola."

"Night doll," he smiles. I walk upstairs snuggling into "my" bed.

I guess Lucy has a great life, minus her best friend girlfriend. I mean Soc boyfriend, Soc friends, Greaser BEST friends, Sodapop as her best friend, living with Darry, cheerleader, smart, and has the best life ever. Will it stay perfect though? Will she be back stabbed? Do the Socs really accept a greasy girl? Do you trust Randy? What about her and Sandy's relationship?Stay gold. Do it for Johnny!
