Here at the Opulence Writer's Awards, we want to help and inspire as many undiscovered authors as we can. To achieve this, we need the best judges possible... Do you think you are up to the task?

We are looking for well written, in-depth reviews that will help us complete the first round of judging. You will need a high level of technical competency and a passion for reading your chosen genre. We understand that we are asking for quite the undertaking, so please don't offer your services if you cannot complete the task.

I'm just going to leave that there. Please excuse the oncoming explosive rant!

*Looks in email. No results are there.* That's okay. Maybe they are in the inbox of the account. *Logs into Wattpad.* A frown appears on my face. Why is it empty? No notification at all. *I double check* And yep, my suspicions are confirmed. THERE ARE NO RESULTS!

*Scratches head* I'm genuinely baffled here. We allowed each judge THREE weeks to complete their assignments. So why (except five judges) are there no reviews?! I'm honestly really pissed. A few of those judges that have submitted theirs did not supply a review. What's a scorecard without an assessment? How are we meant to know what you have read? We're not bloody mind readers!

Fair enough, the task we were asking for was high, but we did say DON'T offer your services if you're not fully COMMITTED.

As the host, I want to fully apologise to those contestants who do not have a score/review. I can't really own up to their mistakes, but I can and will keep to my word. I promised every single participant they would get an extensive review regardless of their winning status. And I will stand by my promise!

I've had to put aside my own assignments to make sure you will all get an honest and genuine review. I couldn't stand by and witness the possible disappointment. Honestly, this is unfair to those participants. However, some genres I've had to wait until today, as it is also the deadline for some of the categories. And since there are none. I have no choice but to add them to my list.

I ask you all to be patient and understanding during this time while I sort through the reviews we have and don't, and then work from there. Without failure, round two will start on Monday, but the results may be delayed a little longer.

I'm sorry for the rant. The host hat flew off, and anger took over.
