2 weeks later....

"Finally! I'm free! Woo-hoo!!! I'm going to suck down as many cheeseburgers as I can! Hehehe!" the young Asakura says as he runs around, outside the hospital after being discharged. Unfortunately, he runs right into Anna's slap.
"So annoying..... Can you not make so much noise Yoh?" Anna grumbles, glaring at him.
"Ouch...... You know, I would have still stopped if you just asked without the slap...." Yoh whines while crying waterfall tears.
"I know. But it's more effective this way," the itako replies.
"Wait.... Tomorrow is the New Year... Man, I couldn't even do anything for those two weeks.... What a waste," Yoh says, looking at the sky and stuffing his hands in his pockets, sighing.
"Sorry.... " Anna mumbles, looking at the ground.
"Meh. It wasn't your fault. Trust me, I've learned to get used to stuff like this. I mean, I am a shaman anyway... Wait a minute, Bob is supposed to be singing soon! We better get home fast!" the young shaman takes off towards the house with a very confused Anna following.
"I'm home!" Yoh says as he swings open the door with the brightest smile on his face.
"I can see. And trust me, for a woman who is already blind, it means a lot..." Kino bluntly replies.
"Good to see you're back Yoh," the neko-mata replies.
"Thanks Matamune, well I'm off to get ready for the awesome singing of Soul Bob," the young shaman says before running to the TV room, chanting "Soul Bob" all the way. At the very same moment, Anna comes in.
"So was he difficult to handle?" Kino asks.
"Well, for the first few days, but eventually he calmed down," Anna replies then blushes slightly when she remembers how they slept. (*cough*Togetheronthesamebed *cough*) "Well, if you say so," the elderly woman says.
Anna then walks past them and enters the TV room before sitting beside Yoh who is currently "preparing himself" by listening to Soul Bob on his orange headphones.

Later that night...

"Alright, it's started!" Yoh says before turning down the headphones and focusing on the screen, eyes shining.
"I never thought that Awayaringo would be here as well... " Anna says.
"It's pretty shocking for me too," Yoh replies, looking at her slightly.
Just then, Matamune and Kino walk in then stop immediately they see both of them.
"Y-Yoh...." the cat spirit begins only to be picked up by Kino.
"Let's go and have a bath shall we?" the woman suggests, obviously giving Matamune a hint not to disturb the two kids.
"Okay. I'll help you scrub your back then," Matamune replies as they both exit.
Just then, Bob hits the stage and starts singing with his choreographers dancing with him. All anyone can see in Yoh's eyes is complete admiration. That is until Awayaringo took to the stage and started singing.
"Hey Anna, don't you think she looks kinda scary?" Yoh inquires, out of the blue.
"The makeup she wears is only a disguise to cover up her weak self. This song is actually a very beautiful poem..." Anna replies, not taking her eyes off the screen.
"Hm.... Just like you..." the boy says, causing Anna to suddenly look at him in surprise.
"I understood this since but it's becoming a lot clearer. I was so confused when I first came cause everything was going all over the place till I narrowed it down. Not only can you read minds, you also see the desires of the soul...."
"If you figured all this by yourself then, you know that you should leave-"
"I'm not going anywhere..." Yoh cuts her off, with his eyes closed. "I'm a carefree person. So if I see you suffering, I can't just leave it at that."
"Listen, I know what you're trying to do, I'm sure you expect me to say thank you after everything huh?!" Anna snaps, glaring at him.
"I don't need your thanks, I just want to help that's all," Yoh replies, still calm.
"Listen, I have closed off myself to everyone and have no interest in relationships, yet you still want to build one?! Why?!" Anna yells at him causing Yoh to snap open his eyes and freeze in shock, realizing her question.
"Uh... Well, um...." Yoh stutters, turning his head the other way as he is clearly blushing.
Of course, Anna reads his thoughts and blushes deeply with wide eyes.
"I guess.... you don't really understand people feelings though....." Yoh mutters.
"HOW DISTURBING!!" Anna yells again then slaps him hard before running out and slamming the door.
"Ow... My right hand still hurts from the slap....." she mutters as she leans on the door.
"Hey Anna..." Yoh says, at the door causing her to move away and look at the door. "After the programme is over, the new year would be here. So how about we go to the temple together? I mean it's better to pray at the start of the New Year cause it gives you a chance to set goals for yourself. Like not wanting to be in a relationship... And I'm sure you'd like to do something about that power... But if that doesn't take that power of yours, then let's run away together. And wait till I become Shaman King. Then I'll be able to do something about it."
Anna looks at the door in shock at what Yoh just said.
"This is embarrassing...... Thank goodness we're talking through the sliding door.... Make sure not to fall asleep. I'll be waiting for you," Yoh says. Unknown to him that Anna has tears streaming down her face on the other side.
"Yeah..." she manages to say.
"I'm also thankful for the sliding door.... " she thinks.
