Tea party

Not my class ignoring the fire alarm just to make sure the mousse doesnt melt. And yes I am alive. [You got the wrong priorities.]

~•~•~•~

Takumi gulped as he came out of the kitchen, holding a dish in his hands to present to his examiner. He needed to make something that would appetize the fifth seat. If he doesn't, then he can kiss his place in Totsuki goodbye.

But still, this fifth seat seemed to be... different from those who he faced with the rebels.

Of course, she would be different, this was the only (L/N)(Y/N), there was no one in the world that was like you.

He knows who you were, hell, you might've met once or twice on campus, but he never had the chance to talk with you, because there really wasn't any reason for it. He has however tasted what kind of creations comes out of your so-called empire, and he sure as hell tasted heaven in such a small, yet expensive dessert.

"The dish I prepared consists of-" He began to explain his dish, telling you every single detail of the meal he prepared.

Truly, this boy shined with talent. His specialty was Italian cuisine and truly showed in his cooking.

"Bon appetit." He said, giving you a small nervous bow. You can tell just how much he was panicking on the inside.

This was his only chance. If he doesn't get through this, then everyone, every single one of their friends was going to be expelled and Totsuki will be in the hands of-

"It's delicious."

"Eh?"

"Didn't you hear me?" You asked with a sigh, crossing your legs for the hell of it. "I said it was delicious. You pass."

"EEEEHHHH???????" His jaw snapped open at your words. He was completely shocked he was still saying 'ehh' for some reason. If he runs out of oxygen, hopefully, there's someone who knows how to do that CPR thing. "That easy?! For real?!?"

"Didn't you hear what Kobayashi-senpai said?" You stood up, walking up to the door with a smirk. "Make me say it was 'delicious' and you pass. And what you made truly was a magnificent dish, Takumi-san. Keep up the good work."

He still stood there, frozen and shocked that he just passed this test that he's been stressing about. Did he really just make something that great or were you just taking pity on him???

But then again, this is you we're talking about.

You had never lied about a single dish in your entire life.

If it was shitty, it was shitty.

If it was delicious, then it really was delicious.

Aldini Takumi passes to the next round.

"Mhm, thank you for your help." You ended the call, placing your phone back in your pockets as you made your way to where Yukihira's test was taking place. You already knew what the outcome was going to be like. [Whomst????]

From the very beginning, Hayama was bound to lose. He was cooking without meaning, and for a chef, that is the worst to happen.

That feeling of having no one to cook for is a painful feeling. You yourself have never gone through that, but you know someone does.

Plus, Hayama was in his emo phase and you honestly wanted to just give him a slap across the face. During the trip here, you were unlucky enough to be seated next to him, and he was mumbling and grumbling underneath his breath.

"Hm.... looks like it's already ending...." You leaned over the railing on the second floor, examining the exam that was already ending, the three judges were already voting. Looks like you missed the best part. 'And just as I predicted, Yukihira won.'

You could hear them. Hear the words being exchanged by the two first years and how they low-key kinda look like a ship. They were pretty words, really. You wished you had as much confidence as Hukihira.

And once everything was resolved, along with Shiomi giving Hayama a slap across the face, you went on your way.

You just wanted to see. You wanted to see what this Yukihira could do.

The one you know who can change this school, take it away from that... thing... and get shit back to normal.

"Hey, Kobayashi-senpai," You said, stopping in front of the girl who was leaning by the wall, waiting for you. She seemed to have something in mind, whatever it was, it made her smile greatly. You took out an envelope in your pocket, handing it to the girl. "Can you give it to him?"

Everyone celebrated Yukihira's win against Hayama, happy that he'll be able to keep on going with the exam. And when they all went their separate way, Terunori also went off on his own, leaving his RS members to celebrate with them for a bit more while.

He made his way over to his room to rest, he's been running around in the snow for the past few days, he really needed a rest. But once he entered, he was a bit surprised that the door was opened. 'Okay... who was snooping around my room???'

He peeked inside, cautious if there was some kind of kidnapper inside, or worst, Azami. But surprisingly, the place was empty. It was the same as when he left it this morning. Nothing changed.

Expect for the obnoxiously placed heart on his bed with a single letter taped to it. His bed had flower petals scattered everywhere, but the strange thing is, they were all edible flowers, used in cooking and baking.

"Who the hell?" He grumbled, making his way to the bed, snatching the envelope. But the moment the item approached his face, a familiar scent came attacking his nose. "...this smell..."

He wasted no time in opening it, letting the envelope drop to his bed. Once he finished reading the paper, he rushed out.

'Dammit... this is nerve-wracking...' You thought to yourself, gripping your hands as you sat alone with the large assortment of sweets in front of you. "Tch. When is he going to ar-"

Speak of the devil. You turned to the door and saw your dear guest, Terunori entering the room while breathing heavily. He seemed to have run here. Before you could say your rehearsed line, Terunori rushed up to you, trapping you on the chair, taking you on a tight hug.

"You stupid thing..." He whispered, burying his head on your neck. His voice was unusually soft. Was he crying? "You nitwit... you dumbass.... You fool. You clown."

"Wow, the last one was uncalled for.." You grumbled. But he didn't reply and only held you. It felt warm to be held by him, a total contrast to the freezing cold of Hokkaido. "But... I kinda deserve it..."

"...you just had to make me wait... you're the devil in disguise..." Mans was legit choking in trying to contain his tears. "You stupid dumb, empress..."

".....sorry..." You wrapped your arms around him, resting your head atop of his. "But, you know. I didn't make all of these just for you to cry."

"I'm not crying!!" He exclaimed, standing up straight and marching to the other side, sitting down with a pout. He was painfully trying to keep his cries. "(Y/N)! If this doesn't satisfy my taste buds then you're gonna get it!"

"Sure, sure," You chuckled, happy to be able to talk with him again normally. "Anyways, what I said in my letter...."

"Will you do it?" He asked, holding out the letter between his fingers. "What you wrote here?"

"Yeah." You nodded, removing the smile and facing him with a serious look. "I'm leaving the elite ten, I don't care if I get expelled. But, I am and I will go through with my plan."

"Heh, always so serious and proper." He scoffed jokingly, his eyes traveling to the small content on the letter. "But, just so you know, I'm on your side."

"I know." His hand reached out to yours, gently placing it on his lips, making your heart ache at his small action. "With all the shit that's happening, I know something good is bound to happen... but I will leave those to the first years and the rebels."

"Hmm... your planning skill never fails to scare me." He added, intertwining his fingers with yours. "It felt like you had everything planned... like this was nothing but a show..."

"I really wished it was." You sighed, giving his hand a little squeeze for reassurance. "But it's not. It's real.... So I gotta end it, the way I want to."

"That's the (Y/N) I know." Terunori stood up, standing in front of you before leaning down, letting your lips touch for a few seconds. It was a small yet endearing kiss. "So, go fuck 'em up, babe."

"Dearest Terunori,

You are courtly invited to my fucking tea party. I made sweets and of course tea that I recently got from my grandmother as a small gift back when we were on summer vacation. She asked me to share it with you one day

Also. Just wanted to say, I'm going to be expelled from the school.

I'm going to challenge my mother to a shokugeki. If I win, I get my freedom and she cannot have any control of me anymore, and... she'll need to learn to let go. If I lose, well, I'll become just what she wants me to become. A small dolly for her and central. But I'm allowed to still keep my friends, keep being with you.

It's a big gamble, but I'll do my best. Wish me luck.

The one and only,

(Y/N)"
