I skipped the third day cause I want to progress the story further.

"I need to take a break..." You muttered, looking over your watch, checking to see when your break would come. "Tch. Eight more minutes..."

Fourth day. And you already want to drop dead. You didn't know why, but this year seemed busier than the other years you've been doing this. And this is the fourth year you've been doing this.

"Whatever, work first." You said, returning back to work.

You've been looking forward to today. Today was the day you were going to go to Terunori's RS and take up on his invitation to treat you to food. Of course, you warned him not to make it too spicy or shit will go down.

Also, you wish you can take up first place for today. But then again, you are facing an Elite Ten, Teru's title is much higher than yours. And also Yukihira needs to take the first place for today to advance the story cause it's really important. Maybe tomorrow you'll take first place.

"(Y/N)!!!" The cheerful voice of your dear boyfriend chimed as he ran down the stairs, happy to finally see you after three days of not seeing each other. It was really refreshing seeing him after for so long. "You're finally here!!"

"Yeah, I'm here." You replied calmly, giving him a pat on the head. "Now then, before I eat, I want to check on someone...." A smirk crawled to your lips as you turned around, glancing over to the small stall that belongs to Teru's rival. "I'm gonna go check him out!"

"Huh?!" He exclaimed as you walked off, walking over to the two students, ignoring his calls.

"Ah! (L/N)-senpai!" Yukihira chimed as he saw you approached his booth, the blue haired girl behind her stuttering at the sight of you. "Welcome! And Kuga-senpai's here too!"

"Yukihira-chin..." Kuga chimed as you two approached the group. There were also two students there, you could recognize them from the elections, but not their names tho.

"Would you two like some black pepper buns?" Yukihira offered, handing you two each a pepper bun, you wanted to take it since it was free, but you had to save your stomach.

"Thank you for the offer, Yukihira," You said, raising your arm and blocking Terunori from sparking up a witty comment and delaying your lunch. "But I already have a reserved seat for lunch."

With that, you walked off, leaving Terunori and Yukihira to argue about their food. The moment you stepped inside the giant establishment, the spell of spiciness immediately came attacking your nose. And that made you want to turn back and return to your castle filled with nothing but the soft scent of sweets. But you really couldn't do that.

"Oh! The empress is here!" One of Teru's RS members exclaimed once he saw you, making the others glance over to you as well. "Please, come this way, the chief prepared a table for you!"

You nodded and followed him, walking off to a calmer place in the place, it was near the back, but it was quite nice and quiet. There was a single table with two chairs, and on the back, there was a garden, it looked to be relatively new, it seems Teru made a few changes for this day. Very sweet of him.

You sat down and waited for Terunori to return. As you waited, they gave you a menu, which looked like it was handwritten, with cute little doodles on the side showing how spicy they were. Very cute. And also, it was surprising that he could draw pretty well. Art was something you weren't the best at. You weren't bad, but you weren't good either, just normal.

"(Y/N)!! I'm back!!" Terunori's voice chimed in as he entered the V.I.P table, sitting on the chair in front of you, giving you a loving grin. He was also very excited for this day, he hasn't seen you for a while, so he wanted to make this day special, especially with that weird dinner you had with your family. He heard it from Yvon. "So, what do you think? This menu is just for you!"

"Hm, it's doable." You teased, scanning over the less spicy options on the menu. "But are you sure that these aren't too spicy?"

"What? Of course not! I might be a sadistic rat, but I'm not that horrible to force you to eat those!" He said, pouting his cheeks. "Even I know that you wouldn't be able to enjoy it if your taste buds are burned to nothing."

"Sure, sure, we're totally gonna ignore four chapters ago." You said, giving him an empty look, turning to the menu, and looking for something to eat. "Anyway, it's pretty nice that you made this, I really need the break."

"I know," he said in a whisper, his hand reaching to give you a small pat on the head. "I know."

Lunch was very relaxing and enjoyable. Since it was your break time, as well as Terunori's, you two spend the whole thirty minutes spending time with each other, a much needed time after being cooped up in your office for the past three days.

And after that thirty minute time, you immediately got a call from Hano, complaining about the second seat being there for the past fifteen minutes eating every single thing.

So you had to rush back cause not a lot of things scare your RS members, only if the money is going low, or you getting mad, which happens if the money does go low. But that doesn't happen very often, it only happened once. Last year, white day. They used all the white chocolate that was supposed to be used for an event outside of the school. Thanks to secret savings, you won the little contest. That day, your RS members felt your silent, cold fury.

"Ah! Empress! You're back!" Kobayashi cheered as she saw you arrive, your bodyguard behind you, behind a tree to be exact. They try their best to not be seen, but it's obviously failing with their giant asses. "Your sweets are very nice! I couldn't come the other day since I was still running around the main street! This was the first place I had to go to before you closed down for the day!"

You groaned, feeling all the money flowing out of your pockets at the sight of the amounts of sweets on her table. You wondered if everyone on the elite ten had big stomachs. Terunori and the fourth seat could finish a whole cake by themselves and still have enough appetite for afternoon snacks.

"Thank you for coming, Kobayashi-senpai, but I'm afraid that you..." You really did try your best to contain your anger, but your voice did not hide the fact that you were quite pissed. "Well, I really do not want to say something that may offend you."

"Don't worry, I get ya!" She said with a laugh, remembering the time from the autumn elections where you told her to shut up and fuck off. She liked that you were honest and not like other people who sucked up to them, well, you really didn't need to. "I just couldn't help it! Your desserts are the best! No wonder Momo wants you to work with her. Now I also want to work with you."

Her last sentence made you cringe, already imagining what she might do to get you to work with her. She might drag you out of a class saying you two will go to the Amazon and the teachers can't do anything about it. At least Akanegakubo just sends you love letters, and chocolate during valentine's day and white day. Sometimes presents during Christmas, of course, you also give her presents as to not be rude. With that, you two somehow formed a friendship.

"Just kidding!" Kobayashi said, cutting off your horror train of thought. "I can already tell that you don't like working with other people." She said as she stood up, calling for one of your RS members on serving duty. "Can I take these out?"

"Of course." You replied with a sigh of relief as she finally planned on leaving. Not that you hated her, but having her here at the moment might be bad for business. She's not the only customer you had, there were other more who wanted to come by.

Everyone heaved a sigh of relief as the second seat finally left. Well then, time for work once again.

"Hm... this is... a surprise..." You were honestly surprised, very surprised. For the first time in a while, you really couldn't believe it. "We placed third." A little laugh left your lips as you listened to the announcement. "Third... third... third..."

You honestly could not believe what you were hearing. But most of all...

"Terunori failed..." YOu mumbled, thinking back to the challenge that Terunori needed to do to be able to challenge the first seat once again. You know how mad and pissed he's gonna be... and more of all... he's gonna be disappointed in himself.

"Lennard." You called. And the door to your office immediately opened, and on the outside was Lennard, looking as tired as ever. "Can you get Terunori, please."

"Of course, (Y/N)-hime." He replied, still using your old nickname. Quite embarrassing to be hearing that now that you were 17, but still, the nickname stuck to them. "I'll be right back, I'll send Ryuuji here for the meantime."

With that, the guard left. But his words struck you as strange. Never has your grandfather ever sent other than one guard per your request. You only had one of them looking out for you every day, since when you were in your first year of junior high, it attracted a lot of attention.

'Why send two?' You asked yourself, but shrugging off the thought as unimportant. You had to comfort Terunori and well... you're quite sick of not getting first place.

"Good evening, Terunori!" you greeted with a smile, placing a hot chocolate on the table as he sulked on the sofa. He looked so cute wrapped up in a little blanket, sipping away on his warm chocolate. "So, I heard you lost."

"Don't remind me!" He exclaimed, clearly frustrated at his defeat. But that anger soon turned to a sad look, staring at the chocolate goodness on his hand. "(Y/N)... I lost... I can't even beat an underclassman... how am I gonna go against the first seat like this..."

"Come on, you know, not beating the first seat isn't going to end the world," You said with a slight chuckle, as you snuggled with him, letting his head rest on your chest. "Even I have something that I want to do that I can't accomplish, does that stop me from doing what I love? No. Of course not."

You let your hands run through his hair, his arms tightening around you, his head snuggling on your neck. "...(Y/N)... what is it that you wanted to do, but can't accomplish?"

"..." You bit your tongue, not wanting to say anything. But you wanted to comfort him, and if it meant returning him to the previous cheerful Terunori, then you'll tell him. "I... want someone to be happy again. To be back to the person that I knew, not the person that they are now."

"(Y/N)..." He whispered, a hint of pain in his voice. He knows exactly who you were talking about. There was no denying who it was. And he also knew why you couldn't accomplish this... "I... shouldn't have asked... I'm sorry..."

"It's fine. Plus, I was gonna have to tell you in one way or another, and this way the perfect time to say it." You said, intertwining his hand with yours and placing a kiss on his cheek. "And also, there's still tomorrow, there's no need for you to sulk on the fourth day."

"But still..." He whined.

"But still nothing." You said strictly. "And also, I'm still mad that I didn't get first place last year, and being put in third place today tipped me over the edge." Terunori raised a brow, not knowing where you were going with what you were saying. "What I'm saying is, I'm done being placed on second and third. I'm gonna take first place tomorrow."

"..." Terunori's mouth slightly opened, but it soon turned into a confident smirk. "Oh, can you really do that? I'm the one you're challenging here, miss (L/N)(Y/N)."

"Hmph, just because you're the eight seat means that I'm going to back down, Kuga Terunori." You fired back. "I am going to win tomorrow's first place."

"But just so you know, I already won first place for total sales."

"Yeah, I know that much. I'm not a dumbass, dumbass."

"Ouch."

"Well, just finish your hot chocolate so that we can sleep."

"Alright, alright, boss."
