Vacation

"Hm... vacations coming in a few days..." Kuga sighed, fanning himself as he sat on a chair, staring outside. It was so hot that he, nor his members had the energy to use the kitchen. "It's so hot... I wanna go swimming... i want an ice cream..."

"Kuga Terunori! Are you present?" A loud voice boomed and Kuga immediately shot up. "Kuga Terunori!" The person exclaimed and Kuga rushed outside.

Right outside stood an old man, his bear reached his chest, his mustache hiding his mouth, his eyebrows were also long, hiding his eyes. His head lacks hair. He knows who this person was. How could he not? He and a few of his elite ten members just got into trouble with one of his family.

(L/N) Masafumi. One of Totsuki's official, Pastry and Sweets RS sponsor and you dear old grandpa. And also the one who sent him that (not)scary letter.

"You, you're Kuga Terunori." He spoke, walking closer to him, immediately towering over him. Now he knew where you got the height from. "You, you're the one who has spoken to my granddaughter, correct?"

"Y..yes..?" Kuga answered, trying to walk away. Some of his members were hiding behind a pillar, peeking to see what was happening.

"... I see..." Masafumi muttered, standing straight and looking inside the building. "Boy, serve this old man one of your dishes." He said before strutting inside and taking a seat in one of the various tables laid around. "Well, you're the eighth seat, serving this one measly old fossil should be no problem."

"Yes, sir." Kuga said, going to the kitchen. 'Well now I know where (Y/N)-chin got that attitude from...' He thought, getting his station ready, already thinking of something to make. 'If you want my specialty, then that's what you're gonna get!'

Kuga had a sinister smirk as he cooked, his members standing in position, their faces filled with worry.

"Are you sure it's okay to serve that to an old man?!" One of them whispered.

"Dude! Don't just say that!" The other whispered, telling him to shut up. "That's not just any other old man! He's one of Totuki's officials!"

Masakumi sat on his chair, waiting for his food. He opened one eye and peeked in the kitchen. He was sure that he saw hell there for a few seconds. 'Sichuan cuisine... Mapo Tofu is what you're going to prepare. Very fragrant. A spice master. And... my dear little (Y/N)'s friend! Ah, how are you doing my little angel? Have you packed yet? Have you given your uncle a scolding for suddenly returning to japan and not telling you? Do you want another restaurant?'

Masafumi began to emerge in his thoughts, thinking of your cute little smile that he hasn't seen in ages. 'Hm... still, he's the second person to make you smile my dear.... But this time... he won't leave.'

"One Mapo tofu!" Kuga cheered as he placed the plate in front of Masafumi. "Here you go, sir. It's my specialty!" He said with a smile. Masafumi nodded, taking a spoonful and placing it in his mouth. "So, how was it?"

Masafumi took a deep breath and nodded a few times. "Yes... yes... hm..." He kept muttering before standing up straight and placing both his hands on Kuga's shoulders, making him struggle with the weight. "YES! You, boy, are a very passionate chef! Your cooking shows you as a person! You are perfect! Perfect! Ohohohoh!"

'Perfect? I know I'm perfect, but which perfect are you talking about?' Kuga asked, trying to keep his head from falling off because of Masafumi's constant shaking. "Thank you, sir... but can you please stop. I'm starting to lose my lunch..."

"Oh, sorry, sorry!" He panicked, taking his hands back. He coughed awkwardly, taking something from his kimono, an envelope. "Boy, I, nor my wife and son have heard my granddaughter's voice in years. I'm giving you this." He handed him the envelope. "Please do come, I'm sure she'll like having a friend over. And you can bring some of your men with you."

Without another word, Masafumi left, leaving Kuga confused at what the hell just happened. He looked over the table and was about to clean up but the plate was gone, along with the spoon. 'He took it.' He then remembered what he told him. 'He's never heard (Y/N)-chin's voice?'

"Chief, what did (L/N)-dono give you?" One of the members asked.

Kuga looked at the envelope. On the front, it said his name in fancy lettering. He opened it and looked at what was inside, a letter. After reading the letter, he smirked, looking over his members. "Five of you who can impress me with their cooking can come with me on vacation!"

"WAHHHH!!! Are you really leaving your poor uncle alone in summer!?" Yvon cried as he held into your teddy bear and cried in your bed while you packed your bags. "Are you really going to leave me alone to go on vacation to some fancy place!? Where are you going, huh?! The Caribbean?! We already went there two years ago!"

You sighed, trying to ignore your uncle as you pack for your vacation. 'I'm not going to the Caribbeans. I'm going to the country, in our estate there...' You thought, packing your summer clothes and swimsuits. 'Well, that's all... I'll just buy something if I need more...'

You closed your bags, making your uncle panic even more. You groaned, opening your phone and messaging him that you weren't going to a different country and he calmed down.

"Ah! You should've just told me so!" He cheered, jumping out of your bed and fixing it. "I can just go and visit you and mom! I haven't seen her in a while!"

'You can't even come..' You thought, throwing the bags to your uncle and taking the smallest one, where your tools are. 'Summer is your busiest season.' But he didn't seem to remember that.

The moment you left the building, the driver took your bags and packed them in the car's trunk. Your uncle took you in a hug, crying and asking you to return early. Like hell you were gonna do that. And after finally escaping his clutches, you went inside the car.

It's been a while since you've been there. Maybe around ten or nine years ago. You never went there again after that. It just brings back bad memories. But what your grandfather said was true. You can't let your past control you. You needed to move on.

'... I wonder...' You thought, leaning your head on the window. 'What are you doing now, Teru...'

You close your eyes, slowly falling into the world of sleep.

"Young miss, we've arrived." You opened your eyes, quickly snapping your head to the window, looking at where you were. "We've arrived."

You were back. Back to your childhood home. The driver opened the door, helping you out.

The large, castle-like home. This was your childhood home. It was a gift of your grandfather to your grandmother when she moved into Japan after their marriage. Since she missed France, he built her this mansion to remind her of France. So naturally, it has french and European architecture.

It took nearly two years to be finished. That's just the structure. They also invested a lot of money, but your grandma's parents were happy to lend a hand.

The land was also vast, like there's even a private lake in here. You loved going there and swimming for hours. The water was also very clean since no humans have polluted it and it's cleaned every two weeks.

There are also various animals in here, like the chickens you raised. But you were sure that it's been returned to nature a long time ago.

"(Y/N)!!!!!" A loud voice called, footsteps running over to you. "Aaahh! You've grown so much already! Granny hasn't seen you in ages! How are you!? How is school? Are you doing well?" She asked, rubbing her cheeks with yours.

Yes, this is your grandmother. (L/N) Cécil, owner of various french restaurants around the world, serving as their head chefs when she was still in her prime youth. And also, she's where Yvon got his attitude from.

"Oh mon ange! You're just so precious!" She said, still not letting go of you. "Have you made any friends? I heard from Masafumi that you're friends with one of the students, is it true? Why didn't you invite them?"

'Ugh... who's friends with who?' You told yourself, trying to free yourself from her. After finally getting her off, you pointed to the luggage and she understood.

"Oh right, we still need to unpack! Silly me, I'm already forgetting!" She chuckled as you two made your way inside, the workers right behind you with your luggage.

You and your grandmother separated ways since hers and your room are in different places. When you made it to your room, you felt nervous.

You would be sleeping where you used to. 'Ugh... I hope grandpa told them to change the interior and my bed...' You prayed as you held the doorknob. You took a deep breath and opened. 'Oh, so they did change it! Noice.'

The inside was different from when you were a kid. It's much bigger now that all of your old toys were gone, but just a few stuffed animals here and there. The bed was bigger now and more... mature rather than the bunny printed covers you remembered liking the most. The balcony was also cleared out of all the old toys you used to throw there. The interior was white-ish gray, just as you requested.

Everything was perfect.

You went over the closet and opened the door and snapped it close again. 'Fufufu... why the hell did they keep those pretty pink ball gowns? Why the fuck is that still there? Grandpa I'm not going to message you for five days.'

You sigh, plopping down on the bed.

'It's gonna be a boring summer...' You thought, looking back to the various events that happened the first trimester. 'Well... it's all thanks to Teru, I guess...' It was because of his stupid ass for ruining your cheesecake and making you wear his small ass shirt. The start of this weird life.

"What are you doing? I don't need your pity."

"But I find you pitiable. You're like a little kid."

"Hey, just because I'm small doesn't mean I'm a kid."

"Sure, sure."

You snapped your eyes open, looking around in confusion. For sure, you were sure you heard it. 'Teru's voice...' You shrugged, going over the balcony to look at the setting sun. 'He's probably missing me right now. I mean, who wouldn't? I'm the (L/N)(Y/N), the one and only empress.'

Now then, time to enjoy this summer vacation. [So have they met or what?]
