31: No one is home
~A/N from the fuutuurree~
Sooo...I'm writing this A/N almost a year after I wrote this chapter aaanndd...I want to b u r n this chapter so badly...why did I ever think this was okay? Why did I do thiiss?!
Mark's POV
I don't understand. How can someone make my day seeing them so happy? How is the curve of a mouth so beautiful? How can someone's eyes make mine brighter? Y/n does all these things and I am completely unsure how she is able to do it.
Her hand in mine is the best feeling I've ever felt. The tingling, the butterflies, the happiness. Just simple contact from her is the best thing I could ask for. She's always on my mind, I want to be with her all day.
"It feels nice." Y/n sighs, looking at the sunset above us. "Getting a break from this shit. The guys, the work, the situation with Madison."
"I will figure that out, I promise." I nod, squeezing her hand.
Y/n shakes her head. "You don't have to get involved, its fine."
"Its not fine!" I yell. I frown at myself before clearing my throat. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to raise my voice."
"You're fine." Y/n grins, staring at the sidewalk as we walked, our hands swinging between us.
"I just can't allow someone to make up some shit story and get you expelled." I say frustratedly. "Its bullshit."
"Calm down," Y/n chuckles. "as long as you're here, I'm fine."
My frustration vanished and joy took over. Looking down at the sidewalk, I attempt to hide my smile. I want her to know how happy she makes me with a single comment, but I hide my proof every time. Its a habit at this point. She makes me smile, I look down. She makes me blush, I look down.
"I don't wanna go back to school tomorrow." Y/n groans. "This weekend has been fun, why can't it be one more day longer?"
"Who knows, maybe school will be canceled tomorrow." I grin.
Silence falls over us. It was comfortable, the bright colored sky as the sun falls, the small, white flakes that fall around us, and the best person I know next to me. I was walking her home after a day of randomness. We went around to a bunch of places as we came up with things to do. It was honestly the most fun I've had in a while, it felt good.
"So how is Tyler?" Y/n asks, shocking me.
"Are you genuinely curious or are you just trying to start a conversation?" I ask, grinning.
Y/n shrugs with a smile. "A little bit of both."
"He's fine, still being his somewhat bitchy self." I chuckle.
Y/n giggles at that. "I wouldn't doubt it."
She looks at all the houses we pass, her eyes landing on one. Her eyes linger on the one she lives in not that far away. Wondering why she looks at it so confusedly, I ask.
"Why are you staring at your house like that?" I chuckle. "Do you see it blinking?"
"No," Y/n rolls her eyes playfully. "I just don't wanna go. And I'm very confused how we got here so fast."
"We've been walking for thirty minutes."
"Well it felt like five." Y/n grins.
"At least you can go and be in the warmth of your home." I shrug, looking at the snow on the ground.
Y/n shrugs. "I guess."
Walking up to her front door, she unlocks the door and turns to me with that beautiful smile of hers.
"Thank you for today. I'll pay you back for everything." She says.
"You don't need to." I shake my head.
"But I will."
"But I wont let you." I smile.
"I will whether you like it or not." Y/n giggles.
I shake my head amusedly. "I'll see you tomorrow."
"No," Y/n wines, grabbing my hand. "don't go yet."
"Y/n," I chuckle at her adorableness.
"Please?" She begs. "No one is home." She smirks.
Staring into her e/c eyes, I couldn't say no. Its as if she hypnotizes me every time I look into them.
"Whatever." I roll my eyes in defeat. She smiles widely, opening the door and walking in, me following.
She sheds her jacket and throws it on the couch as she enters the living room. I'm still at the door taking my shoes off so I don't get snow further into the house.
Walking into the living room, Y/n is sitting on the couch looking bored.
"What do you want to do?" Y/n asks.
"I don't care." I shrug, sitting next to her.
She stares at the TV on the wall in front of her. She turns her head and her eyes meet mine.
"Theres this really good show on Netflix called (show title)! You have to watch it!" She says excitedly.
I chuckle. "Yeah sure."
"Yes!" Y/n pushes herself off the couch and runs up the stairs. I follow after her, walking into her room. She shuts the door and turns to me standing in the middle of her room, like usual. I never sit down before her, and I don't know why.
She stares at me, a smile slowly growing. I chuckle nervously, running a hand through my hair. Taking a step towards me, she grips the collar of my shirt.
"You're adorable." Y/n grins.
"Not as adorable as you." I smile back.
She pulls on the collar of my shirt to pull my head down and connects her lips with mine. Just by this I felt different, I don't know in what way. Just different. Something came over me and I don't know why I went along with the ideas that came up. It felt I would never do this in a million years, but I actually did.
My hands wrapped around her wrists, pulling them off my shirt as I slowly walked towards the wall behind her. When her back was pressed against the door, I pinned her wrists above her head. Moving on from her lips, mine make their way to her jaw and down her neck as I notice her breathing was heavier.
Forgetting about her hands, I grip her hips and pull her closer, if possible. Y/n gripped my shirt again, slightly tugging at it, signaling she wanted it off. And like usual, I couldn't say no to her. I was already this deep, why stop now?
I part from her for a second to pull my shirt over my head and tossing it somewhere to the side, her doing the same. Now both shirtless, I cup her face and meet her lips again. Her arms fall around my neck, tangling her hand in my hair. Without noticing, one of my hands leave her face and trace the side of her form, stopping at the side of her leg when I couldn't go further down and pulling it up to my hip.
My other hand does the same, but immediately falling to her leg. Y/n catches onto what I'm trying to do and jumps, straddling my waist. Her back is still against the door before I slowly take a step back and make my way to her bed the best I could with no sight.
This was most definitely not me, but why does it feel normal? Why do I want to continue? What was happening to me?
Now hovering over Y/n, I begin to make my way down her jaw again. Y/n's hands find their way behind her back to unclip her bra but I grab her hands an pin them beside her head.
An unfamiliar female voice was heard from downstairs, yelling for Nixon. I pull away from Y/n, sitting next to her as she bolts up.
"Who the hell is that?" Y/n whisper yells as she stands up to get her shirt, tossing mine to me.
Still in shock of what happened and what I did, I slowly pull my shirt over my head. What happened to me? What would've happened if we weren't interrupted?
I stand up from the bed as Y/n is running a hand through her hair.
"You stay here." Y/n whispers, opening the door and quietly stepping out.
Even through the voice sounded anything but intimidating or threatening, I couldn't help but worry. But she yelled for Nixon, he would know better than to talk to someone that was a threat. How did she get in the house though? What if Y/n does get hurt?
Soon, Y/n is back in the room with a confused and panicked expression as she silently shuts the door.
"Its Nixon's mom."
WHAT DID I JUST WRITE! XD
Its terrible, but I tried. It was really friggin short but writing it felt like it went on for twenty minutes.
Anyway, hopefully I don't take a long time for the next chapter! Byyyyee! :D
