Thomas' pov

I had suggested the idea for a party not really thinking anyone would go for it but I stand corrected. Lafayette went out to go get drinks and such with Aaron while the rest of us were busy setting the place up. Alexander hadn't come out of his room in a few hours which John questioned a few times but didn't really act on it. After a few minutes of working on the dorm John, Hercules, and I looked at our work happily. the kitchen had a few streamers and was well kept together while the living room was drenched in glitter.

"oh god, guy, Aaron is going to kill us." John said with a laugh. I ran my fingers through my hair and nodded. "Do you think Alex will come out if i ask?" John asked thoughtfully. "hehe.. yeah? no. probably not." I mumbled, looking down the hall. "what did ya do to him?" Herc blurted like he had been holding it in for a while. I froze and shrugged. What I did was kind of out of line, even for me, but i wasn't about to admit that. I know i was in the wrong and he's probably super freaked out but my ego stands in the way of my saying sorry, though it wouldn't be long before that came crashing down as well. "I just.. put him in his place." I muttered, a hit of fear trailing around my voice.

John and Hercules exchanged looks, not saying anything else. "parties in an hour." Hercules stated, not meeting my gaze. God, I messed up. I let myself get out of control. Again. I really need to stop letting that happen he just looked so- NO, NO, NO, STOP. get yourself under control, Thomas. I whined to myself and looked at my shoes. After a few seconds of filling my self with my own self pity I found my self walking to Alex's door. my hand hovered over the door for a good minute, trying to gain the courage too knock. I was irritated with myself. JUST. KNOCK. I took in a sharp puff of air before knocking on the wooden door, clenching my eyes from anticipation. After a few seconds the door swung open, a messy Alex standing under its frame. His gaze met mine, making us both blush.

"I just wanted to say-" I started but was interrupted when he held out his finger, pressing it gently against my lips. "let me stop you right there, Thomas." his hair fell into his face as he spoke like he was shy, which was far from the truth. "I would prefer if we keep what happened earlier to ourselves. I have no damn idea what you were thinking but it looks like you came around to apologize, am I right?" he asked and pushed the hair out of his face, placing it behind his ear. I opened my mouth to say something but shut it before nodding.

"Right. So lets just forget about it." he said and brushed past me. My face went red with fury as I twisted back to face him. He was already down the hall, smile on his face. I don't know why that made me so mad but it made me want to punch him and kiss him all at the same time. "I'm starting to reconsider the Pablo idea." I murmured and leaned against the wall, still trying to understand what just happened.
