" Sabrina, dear you are going to be late for school this morning get up," Mom yelled up the stairs 

"Do I have to mom?" I asked 

" Yes, dear now get up breakfasts ready." Mom replied 

I got up put on the comfiest outfit that I could find in the mess of my room put light makeup on and grabbed my Slytherin backpack I walked done the stairs and sat down at the table. 

"Here is your gravy and bacon sweetheart." Mom said with a smile 

" Thanks, mom," I said while stuffing my face 

After I ate I grabbed my car keys and hugged my mom goodbye

" Have a great day at school sweetheart." My mom said trying not to cry.

" Bye, mom." 

I pulled out of the driveway and turned on my Spotify playlist. 

"Your destination is on the right." My GPS said

I only live 20 minutes away from the school so this is going to be easy on gas. But I still need to get a job welp I am here I got out of my green bug and locked the doors. 

" Hi I am looking for Mr.Adams classroom I am new here," I told the lady at the front office desk 

" Room 169 is all the way down the hall to the left Ms.?" The lady asked

" Martinez but you can call me Sabrina," I replied to the lady 

Ring the first bell rung I hurried down the hallway trying to get to my next class. 

" Ahhh," I said I ran into someone 

" Holy crap are you okay ?" I asked

" Yeah I am fine so you must be the new girl Mr. Adams told me to come to look for you." The boy replied 

" Oh well hi, I am Sabrina." I introduced myself

" Hello, Sabrina I am cole I will be your tour guide for the  rest of the day," Cole explained

" Hey, do you want my schedule to see if we have any classes together," I asked 

" Ooh yeah sure," Cole replied 

I handed cole the piece of paper. 

"It looks like we have all periods together don't worry if you need any help I will help you," Cole informed me 

" Welcome Ms. Martinez I am Mr. Adams and I see you have met Mr. Smith." Mr. Adam's introduced himself 

" Hi," I said shyly I am still awkward and shy around people. 

{ After 4 periods }

"Finally lunch." I sighed 

" Hey, new girl come sat with us." A blonde-haired girl asked 

I just shook my head and sat alone. 

" It looks like you can use a friend around here Hi I am jenny." A redheaded girl introduced herself 

" Hi I am Sabrina," I replied awkwardly 

" So Sabrina do you have a snap- wait a minute is that a Slytherin backpack?" Jenny asked

" Yeah, actually I am a really big fan of harry potter," I explained

" Me too I am a Hufflepuff," Jenny confessed 

" Ooh, none of my friends ever like harry potter I am glad at least one person to talk about harry potter too," I confessed

" Hey, Sabrina," Cole said 

" Hi Cole," I replied 

" I was wondering do you have a Snapchat?" Cole asked

" Yeah my at is Sabrina_Marteniz1232" I gave cole my snap 

" So what are you girls up to?" Cole asked

" Nothing much just talking about harry potter and stuff," I said awkwardly 

" Ooh that's cool my favorite book has to be the order of the phoenix," Cole said 

" Okay, how many Potterheads are in this school?" I asked

" Just us to but now we have a new member of the group if you want to be."  Cole and Jenny asked

" Well duh why wouldn't I join I am obsessed with hp where do I sign up?" I asked 

" Okay, I have the papers right here," Cole said

I filled the papers out and signed my name in cursive.

DING 

I pulled my phone out and it was my mom 

Mom: Your dad is here send help he has a gun 

Me: Okay I will call the police 

Mom: Thank you 

Me: You're welcome

"911 what's your emergency?" The dispatcher said 

" Hi my father is very abusive and my mom and he just got a divorce and he is at our house please help her." I pleaded to the dispatcher

" I have a police officer going to the address are you at school sweetheart?" The lady asked

" Yes ma'am my mom texted me well I have to go to class," I said saying goodbye

I took a breath and went outside of the cafeteria.

" Hey look it's that ugly girl that rejected to sit with us." The blonde-haired girl from earlier

" Get out of my way you don't want to mess with me now get out of my way or else," I demanded 

" Ooh, what are you going to do about it?" The girl asked

" What am I going to do I will go crazy on you got that," I said getting up in the girl's face. 

The girl moved out of my way and I walked to my next class. 

" Did you know the new girl stood up to Katie earlier nobody has ever done that before?"  A boy said 

" Woah Sabrina did you do that?" Cole asked

" Yeah, actually I wasn't going to deal with that drama," I confessed 

{ After school}

I walked outside and dug my keys out of my purse ah found them. I unlocked the doors and go in

[ Snapchat noise ]

Cole: Hey Sabrina I was texting you to ask if I could get a ride home my car is broken down and my dad isn't answering. 

Me: Of course I am the dark green bug on the other side of the parking lot 

Cole: Thanks Sabrina I see you 

I drove cole to his house and dropped him off and then went home. 

"Mom I am home," I said yelling up the stairs 

" Hi, hon the police got here just in time he was trying to get in the house. Sabrina what do you think about getting a guard dog for the house." Mom asked

" Yes I would love to get a puppy," I said 

" We will go to the pet store tomorrow." Mom replied.
