His beasts were ready. They stood on top of a tower overlooking New York.

This tower in particular happened to be the Empire State building. Grindelwald and Leta stood beside him on both sides. Newt put down his suitcase.

"I'll be right back." Newt said before disappearing inside his suitcase.

He looked around, looking for the erumpent. There it was, in all its glory, its horn bulging with orange light.

"Come on!" Newt cried excitedly to the erumpent, who in turn charged out of the suitcase and on top of the building, where Leta would prepare it.

"Now- swooping evil." Newt muttered, looking around. It didn't need to be ordered- as soon as Newt's eyes landed on the creature, it flew into the air, and up to the world outside. It would scout on the sky.

"Sir?" Newt called out to Grindelwald, who looked down on him from above as if from a trapdoor. "Do you need any thestrals?" Newt asked. Grindelwald nodded grimly.

"The more, the merrier."

Newt unleashed his thestrals, each one standing next to Grindelwald's followers.

"And the best for last, will be later. Now, everyone, chop chop! We have work to do."

Creatures now started to stream out of his suitcase. Newt left after each and every one of them had emerged from his suitcase.

"Ready?" Newt asked the other people. They all nodded.

"Then, onwards!" he cried out.

New York was now overrun with many magical beasts. The erumpent shattered buildings; the swooping evil terrorized people, who now ran around screaming and looking for cover from the birdlike creature; the zouwu leaped over places, roaring and sending fear into people's hearts.

In all, New York was falling into ruins.

The group of wizards on top of the empire state building watched, grinning. There were also groups of wizards who rode on thestrals, destroying symbolic monuments like the Statue of Liberty.

Newt, Leta, Grindelwald and the others apparated to stand in front of the Empire State Building. They raised their wands, muttered an incantation, and sent cracks to run through the tall building.

As New York crumbled into ruins behind them, the Empire State building crashed down.

Making New York officially ended.

MACUSA agents now streamed everywhere, trying to control the large number of magical beasts trumpeting around the city.

"Not a chance!" Newt cried as he saw a MACUSA Auror raise his wand to hex a niffler-

"Protego!" Newt roared, and a shield sprung to life infront of the niffler, making the curse ricochet and hit the auror- knocking him out cold.

Newt kicked open his suitcase, and gathered all the beasts, ensuring each and every one returned safely inside.

"Sir. We're ready for the final beast."

"Release him."

Newt flicked his wand in a casual manner, and a bubble with black smoke writhing inside came out of the suitcase, which slammed shut a minute later.

"We need a host, sir."

"No problem." Grindelwald nodded to one of his followers, who in turn brought in a crying girl- no older than 7.

"Go on. I'd like to see this."

Newt levitated the bubble closer to the girl, who was now screaming in her kidnapper's arms. The bubble went into her chest and she went rigid.

"This city's all yours." Newt whispered to the girl. She grinned sadistically and began to rise-

"Should we leave, sir?"

"Yes. Come, fellow wizards and witches. I can smell the scent of victory."

The whole group disapparated. The Obscurial trashed around and killed anyone in sight, and destroying buildings which the other beasts had remained untouched.

"Albus. New York is no more." McGonagall muttered silently as she sat infront of his desk- with a stare of plea for him to do something.

Dumbledore sighed. He knew this would happen.

"And it's no surprise, Minerva. Was it the work of magical beasts?"

Professor McGonagall nodded.

"There's still an obscurial in the city, Albus. MACUSA has fallen. The Ministry of Magic is sending reinforcements at the very moment as we speak."

"Very well. I will go as well to investigate this matter myself. Kindly tell the Headmaster." Albus finalized, standing up.

"And if he would be so kind to send in a substitute teacher for my subject."

Professor McGonagall nodded, and stood aswell. With a last glance of 'Good Luck' towards Dumbledore, she closed the door to his office as she left.

Dumbledore put on his coat, hat, and scarf. His suitcase was packing itself.

Then, he left Hogwarts's premises and disapparated to New York.
