Before I comment (rant about a fan type and a picture of-), I'll explain a bit why this was dead for a year and how I'll handle it afterwards.

What happened was that I wanted to focus on my longer projects first, but I ended up losing the spirit to continue. That's why it was hard for me to come back here. Then rough things were happening in my family environment that is making me want to distance myself emotionally from my family and since December there were some problems on the platform that demotivated me a bit. I admit I wanted to give up for a moment.

Why I did not do it? Because I'm not like that. I'm not going to give up so easily like that, I don't want to give up. I want to keep writing and I want to get back to entertaining people. And I'll do it.

Now how will I handle this? Simple, long stories will be updated, if possible, monthly and shorter and simpler books like this one will be updated weekly. I hope you enjoy it like this and be able to fulfill this. Thank you for your attention, let's go to the opinion.

                        Fandom: Helluva Boss

Well, this ship isn't really a ship. I mean, they're married in an abusive arranged marriage, but really no one, not even Stella's apologists, wants them as a couple. Via was born heir to the throne just in case and they're not really a couple. But I want to bitch about how a certain sector of the fandom acts towards these two.

For those who did not see the entire series, this is how the relationship was according to the show until now:

Pilot and Murder Family: We know that Stolas cheated on her with Blitz, but not the nature of her marriage. Some fans put her like they loved each other and it hurt her, others that she didn't but she offended him, others that she didn't care, others that she also slept with Blitz... Nothing confirmed about it at that time. I thought she was mad at Blitz for falling on the table naked.

Loo Loo Land: We are shown that if she is very offended that Stolas cheated on her, to the point that she yells at him, throws pots, and even a butler towards him(emphasis is important), it is implied that she is neglectful of Octavia. There's still no confirmation on how she feels about Stolas, but much of the fandom fell for her typical getting in the way of a ship. I defended her from that part of the hate, because we had no context for her relationship yet, and that we had to wait.

The Harvest Moon Festival: We didn't get the context, but we did get something else: Stella hired a hit man to kill Stolas. This generated more hate, but also people comparing Stella to Miss Mayberry. The Striker x Blitz ship also came out, which became quite popular.

Ozzie's: There isn't much here, just that Stolas is blamed for the fact that his infidelity hurt his wife... and his daughter. She is the one who matters most. Curious, for good reasons...

The Circus: Here everything went to shit. We are shown here that the marriage did turn out to be arranged, and it is also shown that Stella is abusive, both emotionally, physically, and verbally. Why do I say that this is where things went to hell? People justifying what she does and saying there was a retcon.

Now, in this part I will deal with destroying the three main points that are used to defend Stella:

1-Retcon: No. Stella's personality didn't change. She didn't suddenly become abusive, and if you believe that, either reread the underline or rewatch Loo Loo Land. Because she had already shown herself before what kind of person she was, she just needed to know that she had always been like that for Stella's actions to show.

2-Stolas cheated on her and disrespects her: Yes, but first of all this is not something shown in a positive way, and secondly, that doesn't change the fact that Stella mistreats him constantly.

3-The photo. In that photo Stella smiles. That is supposed proof that it wasn't an abusive relationship forever. A photo without context where the only proof is that she is smiling. It means good times... AGH.

Ok, let's list reasons why she might smile:

1-Make it seem that she has a good time with her daughter.

2- she saw/heard something funny.

3-She didn't want to have an asshole face in the photo.

4-etc.

This relationship is interesting to me what writers do, but those who justify Stella... No. They are hypocrites and try to find something to complain about.
