Now you may be asking yourself: "Ms. Red always mentions something about hetaloids, what are they?" Well my friends have you ever heard of vocaloids and utauloids?

If not then I'll explain.

Vocaloid and Utau are basically the same thing. Voice synthesizers. They use real recorded sounds and process it into the program. You can use these sounds to make words and songs and there are voicebanks you can buy/download. The most famous being Hatsune Miku, Rin and Len Kagmine, and Megurine Luka(luka Megurine).

They come in many languages including:

Japanese(native)

Chinese

Spanish

English

Korean(Don't ever make them sing in Japanese dear god please!)

Catalan

They also have concerts like Miku expo and nico nick cho parties.

Don't forget the rhythm games. There are a couple like Project Diva Future Tone which uses the Future Tone models which are shiny and new, Project Diva Mega 39 which looks like shit but it's acceptable since it's on switch, and Project Diva F2, which is meh. Not the best thing, not the worst thing just meh.

Utau is basically the same thing but most of the voicebanks are shit. The most famous utauloid being Teto. The program is free to download and you can make your own voicebank too, which leads us to hetaloids.

Hetaloids are basically utau voicebanks. They're not official but are fan made by cutting out sounds from the actual show or using an  acapella from the character songs. But the less a character talks, the more likely their voicebank is gonna sound like shit. And most covers are choppy and muffled because of this.

Most vocaloids have a range they're comfortable at so hetaloids have a range. The one with the shortest range is Spain while the one with the highest is America. Here's an example of Heroloid's range.

England's hetaloid actually sounds like him but it can sound a bit muffled.

France's hetaloid is a muffle machine but there is a cover where he sounds clear

China sounds like Len. Probably cause they're both voiced by females

Japan's hetaloid probably has a lower range

Russia hetaloid isn't often used but he has a soft voice

Italy hetaloid has the clearest vocals

Germany hetaloid is d e e p

Canada is s o f t

There are other hetaloids like Sweden and Finland but you can find them in the above song and if you search hard enough

So what have we learned?

Hetaloids are Fanmade Utau Voicebanks. Not all of them are gonna sound perfect but that's fine.
