I love rap. All types of rap music. That's going to sound really cringey coming from a middle-class white girl but I really do. I love the way rappers play with lyrics and use wordplay; I guess it links back to my love of literature as the techniques used in Shakespeare can also be found in the lyrics of grime artists and other rappers.

It's also just great music to get hyped to. I really don't get why other people shame people for listening to rap music; it's a genre full of incredibly talented writers and artists who create some of the best music I've ever heard.
