This kind of ties in with a chapter I did a while ago about cliches on Wattpad, but this is personally one that I feel quite neutral about.

When I first joined Wattpad I read a lot of One Direction fanfic, and a majority of them were good girl meets bad boy type stories which I did really enjoy reading. I think this cliche only bugs me when it's done badly because these stories do have a potential to be really good and well written.

I think there are too many of these books on Wattpad, and I wish people would use a different storyline, but to be honest as long as people are writing and reading I can't complain. I think even if you do write a bunch of cliches, it's still practice and learning about writing.
