Louis smiled when he saw Liam waiting for him outside the school , speed walking towards him and crashing into him in a hug . Liam smiled widely and held Louis close to him , "Hi Lou ."

"Hi ." Louis clutched Liam's jacket in his hands , Liam rocked them side to side , "Haven't seen you in five days , was everything alright ?"

Louis nodded and pulled back from the hug , Liam squeezed his shoulder softly , "Let's go , I'm quite hungry ."

The two got into Liam's car , Liam pulled out of the parking spot , "Is school going on okay ?"

"Yeah . A bit stressful ." Louis nodded , "But it's alright . Is your job going on okay ?"

"Oh yeah . I'm loving it ." Liam smiled , "It's a lot of work , I wouldn't lie , but very satisfying ."

Louis smiled softly , "And how are you and Zayn ?"

Liam smiled wider and let out a chuckle , "We're really good . I talked to him the other day , and we want to go on a double date with you and Harry . We need to talk all four of us and see when all of us are free ."

"Sounds great ." Louis nodded , Liam glanced at him from the corner of his eye , "How's Harry ?"

Louis blushed softly at the look he gave him . "He's good , we're good . He works a lot , but It's okay . We still see each other when we can . I also have tests and finals to study for ."

"Have you started researching dog training schools ?" 

Louis nodded , "Yeah . Dad helped me . I found two places , and uh - luckily the better one is only an hour and a half away . The other one is four hours away . So I applied for the closer one , waiting for the results ."

"I'm really happy for you ." Liam smiled and patted his knee , "You're going to do something you love , coming out of your shell more each day . I'm proud of you ."

"And I just stood there , completely drenched to my underwear , and the fire wasn't even close to be put out ." Liam chuckled through his story , about the time he didn't connect the hose properly and got himself drenched in water .

Louis laughed , "Y-you've always been an idiot ."

"Yeah , well then , let's talk about the time you burned an omlette and the entire house was filled with smoke ." Liam nudged his foot from under the table .

Louis pouted , "I - I was fourteen !"

"It was still funny ." Liam laughed and took another bite of his burger , Louis rolled his eyes and kept munching on his fries .

"I knew I saw you two ."

The two brothers turned when they heard a guy talking , Louis smiled when he saw it was Harry . He scooted over in the booth , Harry slid in next to him and kissed his cheek , "Hi bub ."

"Hi ." Louis smiled , "What are you doing here ?"

"I'm running errands , and I was across the street at this shop . Saw you two through the window , so I stopped by to say hello ." Harry said with a smile , Louis held a fry up in front of his mouth and smiled when Harry took it with his teeth .

"Good thing you're here . I was talking to Lou about a double date earlier , so just let us know when you're free so we can schedule something ." Liam said and smiled at the two , Harry nodded , "Sure , sounds good . Might have to be a weekend though , like Saturday afternoon or Sunday . During the week I'm pretty busy ."

Liam nodded , "Alright , I'll talk to Zayn and see what he says ."

Harry nodded and turned to smile at Louis , "Call me in the evening ? Are you busy ?"

"I'm free ." Louis nodded , Harry pecked his cheek quickly and slid out of the booth , "Good . See you . I have to go finish some stuff ."

The brothers waved him goodbye , Louis turned back to his plate with rosy cheeks and a light smile on his lips .

Liam smiled at his little brother , "You two are really cute . Have you started planning anything for your one year anniversary ?"

Louis blushed at the mention of their anniversary ; he clearly remembered , and started thinking about it a few weeks ago . "I - I might talk to him about it this evening . But there's still over a month left ."

"Time flies by , Lou , start planning ." Liam leaned his chin on his palm , "Go out and be cute with each other like you always are ."

"Hi bubba ." Harry held his arms open towards Louis as Louis walked into the living room , Louis smiled and walked over , "Hi ." He sat at his side , Harry wrapped him up in his arms , "I ordered chinese a few minutes ago , should be here in ten , fifteen minutes ."

Louis nodded and looked up at him , "You look really tired ."

Harry shook his head , "Never too tired for you ." He leaned his head lower and kissed him , Louis cupped his cheek and pulled back a bit to chuckle when Mojo jumped on the couch next to them and nudged him with his paw .

"Go away , he's mine ." Harry playfully nudged Mojo away with his foot , Louis smiled and turned to wrap his arms around the large dog , petting behind his ear .

"No , give me attention , not him ." Harry pulled at Louis' arm , Louis let Harry pull him closer and  into his lap . He put his arms around his neck , Harry held his waist , "I texted Liam , I'm free this Saturday and Sunday so we might have our double date over the weekend , have a little weekend off at the lake cabin . Barbecue , the fireplace , loads of resting and relaxing ."

Louis smiled , "Sounds really good ." He ran his fingers through Harry's hair , Harry leaned into his hand , "You'll make me fall asleep before dinner ."

"Don't . W-want - want to kiss a bit ." Louis said quietly , Harry smiled and brought him closer , "I'll give you all the kisses you want , bubba ." He pressed their lips together , Louis held him closer and smiled when Harry let his hand wander under his jumper to rest on his side .

The two kissed for a bit , until there was a knock on the door . Harry placed Louis down on the couch and got up to get their chinese , he paid and tipped the delivery guy and brought the bags to the living room table , handing Louis the remote , "What do you want to watch ?"

Louis took the remote and crossed his legs on the couch , Harry sat down next to him and brought the table closer , "Put anything you want , I'll fall asleep in the middle ."

"I - I want to watch this show , heard it's good . Stranger Things ." Louis opened it up on the TV on Netflix , Harry nodded and opened one of the boxes , "Sure , put the first episode ."

Louis played the first episode and took the opened box from Harry's hand , leaning back on the couch .

The first episode was finished , Harry paused it before it moved on to the next one , "I thought I was going to doze off , but it was really interesting I just couldn't ."

"Yeah , it's good . A bit scary but it's good ." Louis nodded , head on Harry's shoulder as he petted Fuji , who had his head on Louis' lap .

Harry leaned his head on Louis' , reaching down to take Louis' hand in his large one , "Want to go to bed ? It's a school night , and I'm getting really sleepy ."

Louis nodded , "But , uhm , before we go to bed . Can we t-talk , about - about our anniversary plans ?"

Harry smiled at the mention of their one year anniversary . "Sure , bub . What were you thinking about ?"

"I don't know , that's the thing . What should we do ?"

"Well , luckily our anniversary is on a Friday , so that gives us the whole weekend . Uhm , I was actually thinking about going to the lake cabin , and just telling Liam the lake cabin is off the plans for the double date and just have a little getaway in London or something ."

Louis rubbed his thumb on Harry's palm , "I'm - maybe , maybe we can save the lake cabin for the anniversary ? Or go there on both occasions ?"

"Should we ?" Harry asked , "I don't mind , I just thought that we might aswell go see more places , instead of just going to the same one over and over ."

Louis nodded , "Yeah , I get it . I just - want it to be just us on our anniversary ."

Harry smiled and kissed his forehead , "Me too , love . You know , maybe if the weather is nice we can go camping with Zayn and Liam ."

"Oh yeah . I - I don't remember when was the last time I went camping ." Louis smiled , Harry kissed his forehead , "Well then , we have to go camping ." He paused to let out a wide yawn , Louis chuckled and stood up from the couch , "Bedtime ."

Harry slowly got up from the couch , Louis grabbed the empty boxes and threw them in the trash , while Harry turned the TV off and organized the couch pillows .

Louis held his hand out for Harry to take , Harry gave him a warm smile and took his hand , following the smaller boy up the stairs to the bedroom ; in his sleepy daze , he thought back to a year ago , where Louis wouldn't even glance at him , and whenever he offered Louis his hand to hold Louis would only stare at it blankly - and now there he was , all confident and holding Harry's hand whenever he wanted . Harry loved it . He loved him .

"Where are you goooooing ." Harry pouted as he flopped backwards on the bed , Louis only smiled , "We need to brush our teeth . Come on ."

"Mm . No . Too sleepy ." Harry shut his eyes , Louis scrunched his nose , "I won't kiss you if you don't ."

At that Harry rolled out of bed wordlessly , Louis giggled to himself and handed him the toothbrush and toothpaste .

Harry followed Louis out of the bathroom and wrapped his arms around his waist from behind , "Will you kiss me now ?"

"Maybe ." Louis smiled and got into bed under the covers , Harry followed quickly and held his cheeks , pressing soft pecks to his lips just to hear him laugh .

Louis took Harry's hands off his face and grinned , "Okay , fine , fine , just - ..." He turned to Harry and sat up a bit , bringing his knee over his body to straddle his hips .

Harry smiled and grabbed him by the waist , Louis' small , soft hands on either side of his face as they kissed .

"God , these are my favourite kisses in the world ." Harry smiled up at him , Louis smiled back with pink cheeks and kissed him once more before rolling off . "Bedtime ."
