Harry knocked softly on the door to Louis' room , he heard footsteps from inside and then the door opened . Louis smiled , "Hi ."

"Hi bub ." Harry leaned in and kissed him , "You haven't responded to my texts ." He followed Louis into the room , closing the door behind him and kicking his shoes off .

"I'm studying for my test tomorrow ." Louis said and sat back down at his desk , Harry walked over and leaned over Louis' shoulder to look at the papers and notebook . "What subject ?"

"History ." Louis picked his pen up from the notebook , flipping over a page .

Harry groaned , "One of the worst subjects taught in school . I get it , it's important to know some stuff , but it's such a boring subject ." He flopped down on Louis' bed on his back .

Louis chuckled and turned back to his notes , one leg bent on the chair as he kept reading and scribbling down . Harry turned on his side and leaned on his elbow , "How long have you been studying for ?"

Louis lifted his head up and reached for his phone , which was silenced , to see what time it was . "Um , about - a bit over two hours ." He put his phone down , Harry gaped playfully , "Two hours ?? That's it , you need a break ." He reached over and grabbed Louis' chair , dragging him away from the table .

Louis giggled and pulled himself back to the table , "I don't have much left , I promise ." He turned to the desk , Harry pouted , "But - but - but I barely saw you these past three days , please can we cuddle for a bit ?"

He stood up from the bed and hugged Louis' waist and shoulders from behind , leaning in to kiss his neck a few times . Louis shied away , "Stop . Harry ." He laughed quietly , Harry pressed a kiss to his cheek , "How long will it take you to study ?"

"I'll be done in less than an hour . I promise ." Louis assured , Harry pouted , "Okay fine . But after that you're coming over to my place , I'll cook dinner ."

"Okay ." Louis smiled , Harry turned his head and kissed him softly , "Will you stay the night ?"

"Mm , maybe ." Louis teased , though he knew he would give in ; he hadn't seen Harry properly in three days , and was in a mood for a good cuddle after studying for so long .

Louis opened the door to Harry's house , stepping inside quietly ; he was freshly out of shower , dressed in comfy clothes , stomach growling in hunger at the smell of lasagna cooking in the oven .

He tip-toed to the kitchen , and to his luck Harry had his back towards him and the two dogs weren't around . He snuck up behind Harry and grabbed his sides , leaning in to say 'Boo !' right in his ear .

Harry jumped in surprise and squeaked , turning around quickly to see Louis laughing . Even though Louis looked oh so cute while he laughed , hands covering his mouth and eyes crinkling - and not to mention the adorable giggles - Harry pretended to glare at him .

"Fucking hell , you gave me a heart attack ." Harry put his hand over his racing heart , shaking his head , "Will you stop laughing , I thought I was about to get kidnapped ." That only fueled Louis' laughter .

"Y-your squeal ." Louis leaned his elbows on the counter , Harry crossed his arms , "If you don't stop laughing I'll feed you to Mojo and Fuji ."

Louis pursed his lips to try and stop laughing , but one look at Harry's face made him giggle again .

"That's it ." Harry grabbed him and threw him over his shoulder , "Pups ! Pups , come get your dinner !"

"Put me down ." Louis laughed and kicked his legs , tiny fists punching Harry's back lightly . The two dogs were in the living room , Harry walked over to the couch and put Louis down ,"Come have your dinner , pups ." He motioned Mojo and Fuji over .

Louis tried wiggling away , but Harry held him around the waist and flopped with Louis down on the couch , both laying on their sides as the two dogs licked their faces .

Louis' stomach hurt from laughing so much , Harry noticed him clutching his stomach and pushed the two dogs away from them , "Alright , alright , that's enough ." He looked down at Louis and moved his fringe from his forehead , Louis took a few deep breaths and poked Harry's cheek , "Meanie ."

Harry scrunched his nose and leaned down to kiss him , "Go wash your face , our dinner should be ready in a few minutes ."

Louis went to the bathroom and wiped his cheeks and forehead , and returned to the kitchen where Harry was , checking on the lasagna in the oven . He turned when he heard footsteps and smiled when he saw his small boyfriend , holding his arms open , "Come here ."

"Cuddle ?" Louis asked as he walked over , Harry grabbed his waist and lifted him up to sit on the counter , "Loads of cuddles ." He wrapped his arms around his waist , "Did you finish studying everything ?"

"Yes . Was boring ." Louis wrapped his arms around his shoulders , Harry smiled , "Told you it's a boring subject ." He pulled back a bit from the hug to press their lips together , not even a second later the oven beeped .

Harry groaned , Louis smiled and pushed him back a bit , "The food ." 

"One minute ." Harry kissed him again , Louis cupped his cheeks and pulled him away , "I don't like my food burnt ."

Harry chuckled , "Since when are you being so sassy ?" He pulled back and went to turn off the oven , grabbed the oven mitts and pulled the tray out . Louis jumped off the counter and got two plates , handing them to Harry as he took utensils and glasses to the table . Harry filled their plates and brought them to the table , "Sit down love , I'll go fill up Mojo and Fuji's food bowls ."

Louis sat down as he watched him , though waiting for him to return so they could eat together .

Harry waited for Louis outside his school at the end of the classes , he smiled when he saw him walking out of the building though couldn't ignore his hunched shoulders and sad expression .

"Hi love ." He game him a gentle smile and wrapped his arms around his waist , bringing him into a hug , "What's wrong , bubbie ?" He whispered , Louis shook his head against his shoulder and slowly pulled out of the hug , going around the car to get into the passenger's seat . It made Harry frown and he quickly got into the driver's seat , starting the car .

He put his hand on Louis' thigh , "Hey , talk to me . I know something's wrong . I know you too well ."

Louis shook his head and looked out of his window , Harry bit his lower lip and rubbed his thumb on his knee , "Baby please . I want to help you , want to cheer you up . I don't like seeing you sad ."

Louis pulled his phone out of his pocket and opened his notes , typing in and showing it to Harry when he stopped at a red light .

Harry sighed , "Baby , I know something is wrong . Okay ? I know you . Please tell me how I can help you ."

Louis pursed his lips and put his phone down , looking outside his window again . Harry huffed and kept driving as the light turned green , "I have to finish something at the bakery , then I'll come back home and we'll talk ."

He stopped in front of Louis' house , Louis took his bag and stepped outside the car , closing the door behind him and hurrying up the pathway into the house . Harry sighed out and shook his head , and before he started driving his phone tinged up with a text . He picked his phone up , seeing it was from Louis .

He breathed out in relief and texted back , putting his phone down to drive .

Harry knocked on the door of Louis' room , it took a few seconds before the door cracked open , Louis peeking out to see who it was . Seeing it was Harry , he silently opened the door wider and let him in .

"Hi love ." He leaned in and kissed his cheek , Louis closed the door behind him and sat down on the bed , crossing his legs . Harry took his shoes off and sat crossed legged in front of Louis , hands resting on his knees . "What happened today ?"

Louis bit his lower lip and took his phone out , opening the note he had ready with the story of what happened .

one of the jocks wanted to copy from my test , but i didnt let him , and he got angry . he tried a few times and i kept dismissing him , bc i dont wanna cheat . after the test he grabbed me and hurt me , and no one helped

Harry frowned and looked up from the phone , "What the fuck ??"

Louis wiped under his eye a bit , taking the phone out of Harry's hands . Harry caressed his cheek , "Do you have bruises ?" He asked , frowning deeper when Louis nodded his head . He patted softly at his bicep , then his upper stomach and his ribs .

"Can I - can I see ?" He asked quietly , waiting for Louis to nod his head and only then he grabbed his arm , rolling his sleeve up until he reached the bruise around his bicep . He leaned in and pressed his lips to the bruise tenderly , pulling back to give Louis a smile , "Got to kiss it better ." He hoped Louis would crack a smile or talk ; he already missed his voice so much .

Louis only tugged at the corner of lips , making Harry pout . He leaned in and pecked his lips , "Can I lift your shirt up to see the bruises ?" He asked , Louis bit his lower lip but nodded .

Harry grabbed the hem of his jumper and slowly pulled it up , smiling softly at the sight of his cute tummy he loved , then pulled the jumper up a bit more to see a bruise on his upper stomach , and another smaller one on his ribs . 

He lowered his head and pressed a few soft kisses to the bruises , smiling when Louis shifted away and let a tiny giggle slip out . He lowered his jumper and leaned in to kiss his lips , "Did you put ice on them ?"

Louis nodded , Harry pouted , "Want you to talk . I miss your voice ." He kissed him again , Louis held Harry's cheeks and smiled as Harry leaned on him , knocking him down on his back , Harry hovering above him .

"Bubbie pleaseeeee ." Harry pulled back from the kisses , Louis squished his cheeks , "Cuddles ?"

"It's a yes from me ." Harry smiled and wrapped his arms tighter around his waist , lowering himself down to press his face to his neck .
