Hi loves , sorry for the late update . These past few weeks were pretty bad , there was just a lot of bad news , if you would like to read a bit about it there's a note at the end of the chapter that will be deleted later on .

"My two babies will be here later today ." Harry grinned down at his phone , turning it to Louis to show him the picture Gemma just sent him ; it was a picture of Mojo and Fuji in the backseat of her car , tongues out as if they were smiling at the camera .

It was Saturday noon , two days after Louis and Harry returned from their trip to Paris , and Gemma was on her way to bring the two dogs back .

Louis smiled down at the picture . "How long ?"

"Gem said she'd bring them back in the evening , around six ." Harry put his phone down , "We should take them on a walk to the park tomorrow , we haven't done that in a long time ."

Louis nodded , "Yeah . Picnic ?"

"Oh I love picnic dates ." Harry smiled and walked closer , wrapping his arms around Louis from behind as Louis was busy stirring their pasta for dinner . There was a knock on the door , Harry dropped a kiss to Louis' shoulder and went to open , smiling when he saw Liam , Zayn and Geoff .

"Hi , come in ." Harry smiled and opened the door wider , taking the tray from Geoff as he walked in , "Lou is in the kitchen ."

Liam smiled and walked further in , he put the two salad bowls on the counter and greeted Louis , kissing his temple , "You doing okay ?"

Louis nodded , "Yeah . You ?"

"I'm great ." Liam nodded , then turned to Harry , "Is there anything to help ?"

"Yes , actually , I haven't set the table yet so we can do that ." Harry said , Liam nodded and gave Louis' shoulder a soft squeeze before going to help him .

Zayn walked over to Louis and kissed his cheek , "Hi , little chef ."

Louis smiled with pink cheeks , "Hi ."

"So , a little bird told me you took way more pictures in Paris than you actually sent us ." He poked him in the side , Louis giggled , "I can show you . It's on my phone ."

"Let me see ." Zayn encouraged , Louis reached for his phone from the counter and opened up the file , handing it to Zayn . "I h-have them on my laptop too , need to finish going through them ."

Zayn pulled out the bar stool and sat down , smiling at Louis' phone as he swiped the pictures . "These are so good , Lou ."

"Thanks ." 

"Have you ever thought about selling them , or are you keeping them to yourself ?" Zayn asked , "That's what I do with some of my pictures , I print them out on canvas and sell them ."

Louis turned the stove off , smiling as Harry came to help him drain the pasta , so he turned to Zayn , "Do you really ?"

"Yeah ." Zayn nodded , "Not all of my pictures though . I just pick a few ones that I think will be good and put them online for sale , if not online then around the place I'm living ."

Louis bit his lower lip , "W-will you help me ?"

Zayn smiled widely , "Of course ."

They brought all of the food to the table , Harry fetched drinks from the fridge and joined them at the table . He smiled and kissed Louis' cheek when he saw Louis filling his plate , "Thanks bub ."

Louis smiled and put his plate down , "'s this okay ?"

"Perfect ." Harry nodded , Louis poked his dimple gently then turned to fill his own plate .

"Tell us about your trip ." Liam smiled at the couple , Louis blushed softly and turned to Harry , Harry scrunched his nose with a smile , "It was perfect ."

"Elaborate ." Zayn teased and took a bite of his food , Harry put his hand on Louis' thigh , "It was really fun , we saw places and ate quite a lot . It was just a lot of fun ."

"Food is a must ." Liam nodded with a smile , "You always have to get stuffed whenever you visit a new place ."

"We did ." Harry chuckled , giving Louis' thigh a soft squeeze before turning back to his food , Louis grinned down at his plate with pink cheeks , "Yeah ."

"Wait in the living room , I'll bring them in and film the reaction ." Gemma said on the phone , Harry nodded and took Louis' hand , "Alright , the door is unlocked so just walk in , we're waiting on the couch ." He said as he pulled Louis along .

"Okay , I'm bringing them in now ." Gemma said , and they hung up .

Harry grinned and put his phone down , turning to Louis , "Whenever I reunite with the pups they jump on me and lick my face , and if it was for a long time , then they would cry a bit ."

Louis smiled and moved Harry's hair from his forehead , "Do you think they'll realize it would be me talking to them ?"

Harry leaned into his hand , "I'm sure they will ."

Just then they heard the door open , and Gemma took their leashes off , "Go on , pups ."

The two dogs walked into the living room , and Harry was already getting off the couch and kneeling on the floor , arms spread to his sides , "My babies !"

Louis grinned watching the two charging at Harry and knocking him down on his back . They licked his cheeks , their front paws on his chest and shoulders , and Gemma standing in the entrace of the living room with her phone held in front of her as she video-taped the whole thing .

"My babies , missed my babies so much . Aww look at you two ." He kept cooing through chuckles , then sat up and turned to Louis , grabbing him off the couch and bringing him down to the floor .

Louis laughed as Harry wrestled him down , he let the two dogs have their fun attacking him before pushing them away . Harry sat to his side and watched with a large smile on his lips , before getting off the floor to greet Gemma .

"Hi , thank you for looking after them ." Harry hugged her , Gemma rubbed his back , "Don't be silly , I love these pups ."

They pulled back , Harry went to help Louis get up , then leaned down to kiss both Mojo and Fuji's heads . Louis greeted Gemma with a hug , feeling a bit shy talking with Gemma in the room .

"Are you staying the night ?" Harry asked Gemma , but she shook his head , "No , I'm actually going out with a friend , she lives not too far away , then I'll crash at hers ."

"Do you have time to sit with us a bit ?" Harry put one arm around Louis' waist , his other arm around Gemma . She nodded , "Yeah , sure , could go for some tea ."

"Great ." Harry smiled and took the two to the kitchen , pulling two chairs out before going to the kettle .

Gemma smiled at Louis , "How was Paris ?"

Louis smiled and reached for his phone that was on the table , he opened his notes and typed in . 

it was so amazing, everything was so good

"Did you go to the Eiffel Tower ?" She asked , Louis nodded and bit his lower lip at the memory . She leaned her chin on her palm , "I have a feeling there's a story I need to hear about it ."

Louis let out a shy giggle , before tapping on his phone before turning his phone towards her , with the video he took of Harry's reaction . He pressed 'play' and watched Gemma's reaction , grinning widely when her jaw hung open in surprise .

Harry smiled to himself from where he was finishing preparing the tea mugs , turning to look at the two .

"Is this real ? Are you pranking everyone ?" Gemma asked , Louis shook his head and took his phone when she handed it back . Gemma smiled , "I'm so happy for you , this is such a big step ."

Harry walked back to the table with a tray , he put it down and handed each their tea mug , and placed the plate with cookies in the middle . He sat next to Louis , keeping one hand on his thigh as he turned to Gemma , "How's your new job going ?"

Louis was half listening , because Fuji walked into the kitchen and put his front paws on the side of Louis' chair , Louis smiled and pet him gently , pressing a light kiss to the side of his head .

Harry woke up a bit earlier than he thought he would , he sighed and shuffled around the bed a little before forcing himself up to go to the bathroom . When he returned he smiled at the sight of Louis snuggled into the soft sheets , Mojo at the foot of the bed resting and Fuji on the carpet looking up at him . 

"Hi there ." Harry whispered and pet Fuji , then got back into the bed with Fuji joining him . He put his arms around Louis and kissed his forehead , letting himself be lulled back to sleep .

He woke up two hours later to fingers trailing up and down his arm , skimming along his shoulder and collarbone , then back to his arm and down to his hand . He fluttered his eyes open , Louis smiled and pressed a light kiss to his cheek , "Good morning ."

"Mmmmh ." Harry hummed and squeezed his arms around Louis , stuffing his face into his neck . "Good morning ."

Louis bumped his nose with Harry's temple , "Need t'get up ."

"No , not yet ." Harry held him closer , Louis smiled and shifted in his embrace , "One minute ."

"Still no ." Harry shook his head , before laughing softly when he felt Louis' fingers tickling him under his arm . He let go of him and watched him slipping out of bed , "Menace , just wait till you get back ."

Louis smiled and walked into the bathroom , closing the door behind him . Harry looked after him with a smile on his lips , then looking down at the two dogs who were at the end of the bed . He nudged Mojo softly , "You ready for a day at the park , buddy ?" He chuckled when Mojo shot up at the mention of the park , Fuji right after him .

"Give us a bit to get ready and we'll take you , I know you two missed the park ." He smiled at the two dogs .

Harry layed the blanket down on the grass , sighing as he flopped down on his bum . Louis took the dogs' leashes off and joined Harry on the blanket , sighing in content as he looked up to the sky , the sun peeking through the clouds and warming them up a bit .

Harry lied backwards on his back , "Lay down with me ."

Louis smiled and joined him on his back , his hands laced on his stomach as he closed his eyes . He felt Harry shuffling a bit next to him , before his lips were pressed to his cheek , making him open his eyes to smile at Harry shyly .

"Are you planning on returning to work at the bakery ?" Harry asked , leaning on his elbow with one arm as the other rested across Louis' tummy . "I mean , I know that you have school and finals , but do you still want to work ?"

Louis nodded , "Yeah . Barista still , right ?"

"Yeah ." Harry nodded , pressing his hand against Louis' hip , "We'll talk about it a bit later , it'll be four days a week , and I'll make sure your shifts are with Emmerson or Samantha . Do you want to work right after school hours , or before closing ? Because I can take you straight home with me when we close ."

Louis laced one hand with Harry's , "Before closing . Sounds better ."

"Okay ." Harry smiled , leaning in to press a kiss to his lips . "Do you want anything to eat ?" He sat up and reached for the backpack they brought with them , fishing out a bag of crisps . Louis sat up and reached into the bag , feeding Harry a crisp before taking one for himself .

Mojo ran up to them , Harry smiled at him , "Hey buddy . Looking for your tennis ball ?" He asked as he handed Louis the crisps , then reached into the backpack and took out the tennis ball .

"Go get it ." Harry threw it away , smiling as he watched Mojo running off again . He turned back to Louis , then lied down with his head on his lap , "I know we woke up like two hours ago , but I actually feel like taking a nap , right here ."

Louis smiled , "Don't nap . Want to talk to you ."

Harry smiled up at him , "Yeah ? About what ?"

"Everything ." Louis tapped his nose and shifted over to lie next to him , Harry grabbed his hand and laced his fingers , "We can talk as much as you want , bubba ."

Louis turned his head to look at him , "I like talking to you ."

"I love it when you talk to me . You can talk to me about anything in the world , the most random thing , and I'd still listen ." Harry sat up and leaned on his hand above Louis , "You have such a soft voice ."

Louis smiled up at him with pink cheeks , reaching up to poke his dimple , "I like your voice too . 's raspy , I like raspy and deep ."

Harry leaned in and kissed him , then groaned when Fuji jumped on the both of them , knocking him down ontop of Louis .

Louis gasped at the sudden weight , giggling when Harry groaned and rolled off him .

"Oi , Fuji ." Harry sat up and play wrestled with Fuji , knocking him down and laughing when the dog pretended to bite him .

Louis smiled and took a few pictures of them , along with a video .

Harry smiled and looked up at Louis , making a funny face at the camera and moving off Fuji . Louis stopped the recording when Harry crawled towards him , Harry smirked , "Oh don't be jealous , I'll wrestle you too ." He grinned , even though they both knew Louis showed no sign of being jealous .

Louis squealed when Harry's arms wrapped around his waist , then Harry proceeded to roll them over on the blanket like a barrel roll . He laughed into Harry's shoulder , before pushing him away , "Stop ."

Harry laughed along and moved off , "Don't act like you don't love it ."

So , about this past two weeks' events ; just last week I've been to two funerals in one day , literally one day , two hours apart - that was a really tough day . Then , a few days ago , a YouTube star was killed in a car crash - Corey LaBarrie . And a soldier I know was killed this week . And also a few days ago two Instagram influencers were involed in a really bad car crash , luckily the two are alive though are hurt really badly - Marcus and Kristin Johns . All of this within one and a half weeks , and I was having a bit of a hard time so I took a small break . So yeah , that's life and life sometimes suck .
