Louis woke up to Harry moving around the bed , he groaned softly and tightened the covers around himself to stay warm .

Harry smiled , "Good morning , bubba ." He leaned in and kissed his cheek , "Happy Valentine's Day ." 

Louis opened his eyes and squinted at the bright sunlight in the room , he rubbed his eyes before stretching his arms above his head .

Harry kissed around his face softly , "First morning in Paris , how does it feel ?" Louis answered him with a smile spreading on his lips ; he slept really good he almost forgot where he was . Harry smiled at him and scooted closer to him to hover above him , "Your phone went off with a few texts a few minutes ago , think it's your groupchat with Liam and Geoff ." He kissed the corner of his mouth .

Louis put his hand on Harry's cheek and nodded , Harry smiled and pressed a soft kiss to his lips . "Also it's not too early or too late right now , it's a bit after eight a.m . We can chill in bed for a bit longer and then go out for breakfast ."

Louis nodded again and let Harry steal a few more kisses before gently pushing him away to reach for his phone from the night stand . He held the phone up above his face and opened his groupchat with Liam and Geoff , smiling when he saw they replied to the pictures he sent them before going to bed the night before .

Harry leaned on his elbow as he watched him with soft eyes and a smile on his lips ; he couldn't believe he was actually in Paris with Louis . He bit his lower lip before playfully leaning closer , "You have something , here ." He nodded towards his tummy , which was showing from where his shirt rode up a bit .

Louis looked down confused and pulled his shirt up a tiny bit more , Harry grinned and leaned in , blowing a raspberry . Louis let out a laugh and pushed Harry away , pulling his shirt down . Harry grinned and let his head rest on Louis' stomach , "Couldn't resist myself ."

Louis rolled his eyes though still smiled , bringing his hand to Harry's hair to run his fingers through and trace his scalp . Harry sighed and closed his eyes , turning his head a bit to bury in Louis' tummy . Louis smiled down at him and quietly took a picture , changing it to his lockscreen .

Harry breathed in Louis' scent and pressed a kiss to his clothed tummy , opening his eyes to smile at him , "How about we get up ? We have all day to explore ."

Louis smiled at him and nodded , waiting for him to lift his head up before sitting up and getting out of bed .

They sat at a small Cafe on the block across from their hotel , as they passed it the day before on their way to dinner and promised to go there for breakfast . Louis brought his camera with him and took pictures , making sure it was bluetooth connected to his phone .

Harry asked for menus in english , sitting right next to Louis so they could look at the menu together . They chose the couple's Valentine's pancake special , with two strawberry milkshakes and a fruit salad .

"My mouth is already watering ." Harry said as the waitress left with their order , Louis smiled and nodded , typing in his notes .

been craving pancakes for about two weeks now

"Have you ?" Harry put his arm around his waist , "Why didn't you tell me , I could've made you some ."

Louis smiled and poked his dimple before typing in his notes again .

Harry bit his lower lip as he smiled , he kissed Louis' cheek lovingly , "You're adorable . You could've still told me , bubbie ." Louis squished his cheeks with one hand and booped their noses together , making Harry smile wider .

Louis shyly pulled away from him as the waitress returned to their table with the strawberry milkshakes , Harry thanked her and held his glass up , Louis did the same the they clinked their glasses together . Harry couldn't resist leaning in for a short kiss before Louis could turn to his milkshake , Louis smiled with light blush on his cheeks .

"My mum sent me a video earlier , wanted me to watch it with you ." Harry said and pulled his phone out of his pocket , opening Anne's chat . Louis leaned closer as Harry pressed play on the video .

Hi darlings , hope you two are having a wonderful time in Paris . Anne smiled at the camera , Don't forget to take pictures , we love seeing you two happy together . She turned the phone a bit to show Robin , Hey boys , have fun , enjoy every second , enjoy being young and free , we love you two . The two blew kisses to the camera and then the video ended .

Louis smiled and turned to Harry , typing in his notes and showing him .

Harry smirked , "Good to know you think I'm charming ." He tightened his arm around his waist and pulled him closer , "Come here , we're taking a video to send to them too ."

Louis scooted closer , Harry turned the front camera towards them before pressing record . "Hi , Louis and I are currently having breakfast in Paris ." Harry said with a smile , Louis held his milkshake up to the camera . Harry chuckled , "We got strawberry milkshakes , and now we're waiting for the pancakes and fruit salad . Paris is lovely so far , and we'll send you more pictures as we go . Love you ." The two waved at the camera and Harry stopped the recording .

"I'm sending this to you too so you can send it in your groupchat with Liam and Geoff ." Harry said , Louis nodded and pointed the milkshake's straw towards Harry , Harry smiled and sipped on it , "Thanks bub ."

After breakfast they started walking down the streets in the direction of the Eiffel Tower , though they weren't in a rush ; they took their time , walked peacefully , their hands laced together and swinging between them . The streets were decorated in red , pink and white for Valentine's Day , Louis took a few pictures on his camera as Harry watched him ; he loved watching Louis taking pictures , you could see how passionate he was and how concentrated he was as he focused on the details of the picture .

Harry took the camera from Louis' hands , "Now it's my turn to take pictures of you ." 

Louis blushed and turned away from the camera , Harry took a few steps back and squatted down , taking a picture of Louis sideways with the street in the background , decorated and lively behind him . "Perfect ." Harry smiled before standing up , taking a few more pictures of Louis as they walked down the street .

Harry nodded his head towards the other side of the street , "Want to try a macaron ?"

Louis furrowed his eyebrows , Harry took his hand , "It's really good , really sweet . You'll love it ." He said and took them to the nearest crosswalk . They waited for the light to turn green before crossing the street , Harry opened the door to the bakery for Louis to walk in first .

They bought a few macarons , going outside to the street to take a few more pictures .

"Here , try this one ." Harry handed Louis the red one , Louis took it and bit it in half , holding the other half up for Harry to eat . They continued walking down the street while munching on the macarons , stopping to listen to a street performer playing a saxophone . Louis took more pictures and even took a video on his phone , smiling as Harry hugged him from behind .

"Look , the Eiffel Tower is not too far away ." Harry nodded his head forward , "It's like two more blocks from here ."

Louis smiled and nodded , giving Harry's hand a squeeze as they kept walking towards the tower .

They reached the park a few minutes later , Louis took a few pictures along the way . Harry put his arm around his waist , "The sun is actually really nice and warm , want to go sit on the grass for a bit ?" He asked , Louis nodded and walked with Harry to the grass , where they saw a few people scattered sitting down .

They put their coats on the grass and sat down , before Harry stood up with his back facing the tower , his hand held out palm up , "Take a picture like I'm holding it ."

Louis bit his lower lip and straightened up , holding the camera to his eye . He didn't have the heart to tell Harry that it was nowhere close to looking like he were holding up the Eiffel Tower , though bit back his chuckles as he took a few pictures .

Harry smiled and went to sit next to Louis , "Put your camera down , want to kiss you ." He put his arm around his waist , Louis smiled softly with blush on his cheeks as he placed his camera down , turning his attention to Harry .

He put his hand on Harry's cheek as Harry leaned in to kiss him , Harry hummed softly and pulled him closer , moving their lips together . "I love you , this trip is already so perfect ." He said , making Louis smile and nod .

They kept kissing , Harry cheekily brought Louis to sit sideways between his knees and proceeded to kiss him breathless , until Louis was giggling and pushing at his face to pull away .

"Oi , you love my kisses ." Harry laughed along though stopped to let him breathe , Louis bit his lower lip before shuffling off Harry's lap to reach for his camera . Harry turned to the small box of macarons and busied himself with picking a macaron .

Louis positioned the camera to where it showed them , pressing record . He turned back to Harry and smiled , chuckling when Harry held the macaron with his teeth , nodding it towards Louis so he would bite the other end of it . Louis grabbed his cheeks and bit the macaron , making their lips meet in a kiss inbetween .

Harry turned his whole body to face Louis , crossing his legs and bringing Louis into his lap , so Louis' legs were on each side of his body , ankles crossed behind his back . Louis smiled and held his shoulders , letting Harry press their lips together once again . Harry kept a tight grip around his small waist , smiling when he felt Louis' soft hands on his cheeks .

They pulled back just a bit , their foreheads pressed together . Harry kept his eyes closed and let the tips of their noses boop together , Louis fluttered his eyes open and pressed one more peck to Harry's lips .

"I love you , Harry ."

Harry's eyes ripped open in surprise , arms twitching around Louis' waist . He was staring at him with wide eyes , jaw falling open - he felt like the air was knocked out of him . Louis bit his lower lip as he watched him ; his voice was scratchy , it almost sounded like a whisper , though he was quite proud of himself for not stuttering or having his voice crack mid-sentence .

"B-baby - did you - ... was I dreaming ?" Harry said in a quiet voice , tears filling his eyes .

Louis smiled and shook his head , rubbing his thumbs on Harry's jawline . "I love you ."

Harry breathed out a short laugh as a grin spread on his lips , "Oh I love you more . I love you so much more ." He squeezed his arms around Louis' waist , squishing him into his body . He was smiling through tears , his whole body trembled with happiness .

Louis teared up and kept one arm around his neck , his other hand carding through his hair . "I l-love you . My Harry , I love you ."

Harry laughed happily , pulling his head back just a bit to press his lips to Louis' , their tears mixing together . They kissed frantically for a few seconds before pulling back to breathe , grinning at each other .

"Never stop talking . Never ever ever ." Harry shook his head , "My god , bubbie , I love you so fucking much ."

Louis nodded with a smile , thumbing away Harry's tear . "I love you . Thank you so much ."

The two held each other for ten more minutes , sharing kisses and drying each other's tears . Harry was over the moon , he could not believe Louis just talked to him - and his first words to him were that he loved him . He couldn't remember when was the last time he was as happy as he was at that moment .

Louis felt relieved ; at first he wanted to tell Harry he loved him on his birthday , but couldn't build up his courage enough so he dropped it . But right there and then , in Paris , kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower - he could not find a better peak . He was relieved that he was brave enough to talk , relieved that Harry's reaction was good - relieved that he was finally going to start to slowly talk again .

Harry pressed multiple kisses to Louis' cheek while Louis traced his scalp , his arms still tightly wrapped around him .

"I - I wanted t-to talk on your birthday ." Louis said quietly , Harry pulled back from the kisses to look at him ; his accent was soft , coming out strong on certain words and letters . "But I was t-too scared ."

Harry shook his head , "It's okay bubba . I'm more than happy that you're talking . This is - I can't put it into words . I'm so happy , so fucking happy . I love you so much , thank you for trusting me ."

Louis smiled and tucked his hair behind his ear , "Thank you for being there through everything ."

They stayed kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower for one more hour , before deciding to start making their way back to the hotel and stop for dinner on the way .

While Harry was in the shower Louis sat with his camera on the bed in their hotel room , watching the video he recorded of Harry's reaction to him talking . He grinned to himself as he watched it a few times , making sure it was sent to his phone aswell . He texted Liam and Geoff and sent them pictures on their groupchat , when Harry walked out of the shower in his boxers as he used his towel to dry his hair .

Louis looked up and gave him a shy smile , Harry hung his towel on the bathroom door and pulled on his sweatpants , walking over to Louis . He sat next to him and cuddled closer , "Are you talking to your dad and Liam ?"

"Yeah ." Louis nodded , "Sent 'em pictures ."

Harry nodded and kissed his shoulder a few times , "I'm still not taking it in ." He shook his head and wormed his arm under Louis to hold him by the waist and pull him closer . Louis leaned against him , "Me neither . Still feels weird ."

"God , every time you talk I just want to kiss you and squish you ." Harry smiled and leaned in , kissing him softly . Louis smiled and let Harry kiss him for a bit before pulling back and booping his nose gently , "Movie ?"

Harry kissed the tip of his nose , "You know very well we wouldn't be able to watch it because I'll keep kissing you until you kick me in the arse ."

Louis laughed softly and sat up a bit , he plugged his phone to his charger and settled under the covers , he took the remote from Harry and put on cartoons , as they watched the night before . He shuffled down in bed , Harry hovered above him on his elbows and kissed his cheek , trailing the kisses down to his neck playfully .

Louis shied away as he giggled , though Harry leaned closer and kept kissing his ticklish neck over and over . Louis grabbed the sides of Harry's head and pulled him away , "S-stop ."

"Never ." Harry shook his head with a wide smile , leaning back down to rub his facial hair against Louis' neck as he tickled his sides lightly . He grinned when Louis' laughter peaked up a bit , his small hands pushing his larger hands away from his sensitive sides . He stopped the tickling , though staying in his position above him .

"I love you ." He said softly with a smile , Louis smiled back at him and nodded , "I love you too ."
