On Louis' last day of school Harry waited for him outside the school ; It's been a month since Harry asked Louis to be his boyfriend , and he wanted to have a mini celebration for both reasons .

He heard the bell going off , and students walked out of the building . He straightened up and tried looking for Louis , though the boy was shorter than the other students and made it difficult to find him .

Eventually Harry spotted him walking out of the building while looking down at his phone . He smiled and sneaked up between the students , when he reached him he playfully grabbed him around the waist and picked him up , shoving his face into his neck right where he knew it tickled him .

Louis gasped and his legs kicked a bit , he laughed as he tried pushing Harry away from his neck . Harry laughed along but put him back down , laughing even more when Louis smacked his shoulder with a pout .

"I'm sorry , love , you were just too easy ." He grinned and kissed his cheek , Louis pushed out of his hold and crossed his arms over his chest as he tried looking mad . If only he knew he failed miserably and actually looked like a kitten .

Harry thought he looked adorable .

Louis walked to Harry's car still pouting with his arms crossed , Harry followed him with a grin . He grabbed his waist and turned him around , picking him up off his feet once again . "I won't let you go until you give me a hello kiss ."

Louis blushed , he cupped Harry's cheeks and pecked his lips quickly . Harry whined and shook his head , "A proper kiss ."

Louis smiled and pressed his lips to Harry's softly , Harry hummed and slowly placed Louis down on his feet without breaking their kiss or their cuddle . Once they pulled back they were both smiling , Harry kissed the corner of Louis' lips , "Got plans for us for today ."

Louis raised his eyebrows , Harry opened the passenger's door for him , "We'll get to your house , you'll change and I'll tell you where we're going ."

Louis got into the car , Harry got into the driver's seat and pulled out of the parking lot . 

When Harry stopped at a red light Louis patted his arm , he turned to face him and saw him holding his phone up with the notes open .

please tell me what you planned ?

Harry smiled at his cuteness . "We'll go have lunch , then go bowling . Then we're going to get Mojo and Fuji , we'll take them to the park for a bit , then go back to your house for dinner with Liam and Geoff . Then us two will go back to my place , maybe watch a movie or play a board game ."

Louis grinned widely , biting his lips as he typed in the notes .

Harry smiled when he read the note , he took Louis' hand and kissed the back of it , holding it for the rest of the drive .

Soon enough they reached their houses , Harry walked with him into the house , "I'll wait here , go change ."

Louis nodded and walked up the stairs with an excited smile .

Harry looked around the living room , seeing some picture frames on the walls . He smiled at the pictures of baby Louis , then pictures of him as a toddler . He couldn't get over how adorable he was , and still is .

He cooed at a picture of Louis sitting in the middle of a meadow with the biggest grin on his lips , he looked about five , maybe six years old .

Louis walked down the stairs dressed casually , he saw Harry looking at the pictures on the walls and immediately blushed . Harry turned to face him smiling widely , "Look how adorable you look here ."

Louis whined softly and tried pulling Harry away from the picture frame , though Harry wrapped his arms around him , "Aw look at you , still adorable ." Harry wrapped his arms around him and kissed his cheek a few times , Louis shied away from him .

"Did you pick something ?" Harry asked , Louis nodded and scanned the menu once more to see if there's any other dish he missed .

Harry took a sip of his water , "Show me what you picked ."

Louis turned his menu towards Harry and pointed at the dish , Harry nodded with a smile , "Didn't know you liked salmon ."

Louis nodded and typed in the notes . 

As long as its not raw 

Harry nodded , "Yeah . It goes really good with sweet chilli ."

Louis bit his lower lip with a smile , leaning on his palm , before a waiter came to collect their orders .

Harry ordered the same salmon dish twice for the both of them , the waiter wrote it down and took their menus , leaving a cocktail menu .

Louis took a sip of his water before typing in the notes and turning the phone to Harry .

Harry smiled at Louis and took his hand , kissing his knuckles , "Of course , love . We had to celebrate your last day of school , and as cheesy as it is - our one month together ."

Louis blushed at the mention of their anniversary . Of course he knew it was one month since Harry asked him to be his boyfriend , but he didn't want to seem clingy . 

Harry kissed his knuckles once more , "I think i've already said it before , but I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you . You made an unbelievable progress in opening up , not just to me , but in general . I hope you know how proud I am , how proud Liam and Geoff are . How proud your mother must be ."

Louis looked down at their joined hands and bit his lower lip as his eyes got glossy . He took his phone and typed in the notes before turning the phone towards Harry .

youre the main cause . before you i wasnt even trying . you helped me alot , and im really grateful . i take none of it for granted

Harry smiled warmly and took Louis' hand , pressing multiple kisses to his knuckles and the back of his hand until Louis pulled his hand away with a giggle , making him smile back .

"You got this , bubba ." Harry cheered for Louis , Louis blushed at the nickname and tried focusing on knocking the pins down .

He rolled the bowling ball , watching it successfully knocking the pins down on his second round .

"Yes !" Harry rooted and wrapped his arms around Louis , picking him off his feet and spinning around . Louis laughed and kicked his feet a little , Harry put him down and pecked his cheek before letting go and taking a bowling ball for his round .

Louis watched Harry's muscles , his large arms , broad shoulders , lean back . He still wondered how he got so lucky .

He didn't even notice Harry turning to take another ball having two pins left , Harry smirked as he caught Louis staring . "Like what you see ?"

Louis shook out of his staring and blushed furiously , looking away quickly and shifting on his feet .

Harry took the bowl and swung it down the aisle before turning to Louis with a smirk still on his lips . Louis went to take a ball for his round , inaudibly gasping in surprise when Harry wrapped his arms around him from behind , "You can stare all you want , bubba . I stare at you all the time , too . Beautiful sight you are ." He spoke gently next to his ear before leaning down to leave a peck in the crook of his neck .

Louis couldn't have blushed harder .

Harry unclipsed Mojo and Fuji's leashes and turned to Louis , "Watch this ." He said before taking off running across the grass field , the two large dogs following quickly .

Louis laughed watching the three running around , Harry ran back over to him and sprawled on the grass next to him out of breath , before groaning when Fuji flopped down on his stomach .

Louis got the two dogs' attention with the tennis ball before throwing it away and watching them chasing it . Harry sat back on his elbows , "I'm raising beasts ." He breathed out .

Louis moved Harry's hair from his forehead , making Harry smile and close his eyes as Louis played with his hair a bit . He moved to lie with his head on Louis' lap , Louis smiled wider and ran his fingers through his hair , massaging his scalp softly .

It scared him how comfortable he was with Harry . A few months ago he couldn't even stay in the same room with him , now they were all cheesy with each other . Hell , they even kissed , which is a huge deal for Louis .

Harry opened his eyes and looked up at Louis , who smiled back with rosy cheeks . Their small moment was cut off by Mojo running over to them with the tennis ball in his mouth , Fuji right behind him .

Louis grabbed the slobbery tennis ball with a slight grimace and threw it away , playfully wiping his fingers on Harry's sleeve . He giggled when Harry gaped at him .

"You're lucky you're cute or I would've bit your fingers off ." Harry pointed his finger at him .

Louis was sitting on the counter stirring the cooking pasta , Liam was dancing to songs around the kitchen , Geoff was making a salad and Harry was cooking steak stripes next to Louis .

Harry grabbed his wooden spoon and pretended it was a mic , singing to Louis .

Louis was grinning and laughing at his and Liam's poor dance moves , cheeks red with blush . Harry shimmied towards him and put his hands on the counter on either side of Louis , leaning in to kiss his blush-covered cheek .

Liam and Geoff couldn't get enough of the couple , they were really thankful for Harry , almost as much as Louis was . They loved that Louis was smiling and laughing more , they absolutely loved that he opened up to a person other than the two of them .

A new song started playing , Louis enjoyed every bit of quirky dance move the two pulled .

Louis threw his head back laughing before covering his mouth , Harry and Liam grinned at him and purposefully kept going to make him laugh more .

Every once in a while Harry would check on the steak before returning to dancing , kissing Louis' cheeks along the way .

Half an hour later dinner was ready and the table was set , Harry and Louis sat on one side while Liam and Geoff sat on the other side .

They were talking and laughing , Louis couldn't remember the last time he had this much fun with his family . And Harry .. Harry was a huge bonus . He was so grateful to have someone like him in his life .

Louis and Harry were sitting in Harry's living room , playing Scrabble with two mugs of tea and biscuits . Mojo had his head on Louis' lap , Louis kept petting him softly , while Fuji was next to Harry sitting under his arm .

"Lou , 'oi' is not a word ." Harry chuckled , Louis pouted and added and L at the end , sticking his tongue out at Harry . Harry scrunched his nose and playfully threw half a biscuit towards him , Louis picked it up from the table where it landed and threw it back , making it go into Harry's half full tea mug .

The two laughed at Louis' shot , Harry used his spoon to take the biscuit out .

Harry smiled softly when Louis yawned into his palm , eyes squeezing shut with every yawn .

"You tired , bubba ?" Harry asked softly , Louis smiled and nodded his head a bit . Harry took his hand from across the table , "Let's get you to bed ."

They got up from the seats on cushions on the floor , Louis packed the scrabble back into it's box while Harry took the mugs back to the kitchen .

Louis petted Mojo and Fuji as if saying goodbye , Harry wrapped his arm around him , "Come on , bedtime ."

They walked out of Harry's house and across the street to Louis' house , when they got to the porch they hugged tightly . Louis closed his eyes and rested his head on Harry's chest , feeling himself being lulled to sleep just by being in his arms .

Harry kissed the top of his head and chuckled softly when he felt Louis slowly falling asleep against him . "You got to get to bed , bubba ."

Louis blushed at the nickname and buried his face into Harry's chest , Harry squeezed his arms around him before pulling back to cup his cheeks and kiss him .

"Get some sleep , I'll see you tomorrow ." Harry caressed his soft cheeks , Louis nodded and smiled when Harry kissed him again .
