Payment

-- For every chapter of your work that I review or edit, I require an honest and at least semi-detailed comment on one chapter of one of the books I have up.

-- If your comment is something like "whoa 10/10" or "really great chapter" or "I like this character, he's funny", then that will not be enough for me. 

-- Research is free. Please just credit me so that I can attract more people to this service.

-- Following is nice, but not necessary. Votes aren't required, either. However, this risk of not following is that you may miss posts about any delays, whether they come from your end or mine. Please list an element in your submission.

-- Don't start payment until I confirm you. You start payment, and then I'll work with you.

-- If you do not complete payment, or do not complete it to an extent that I find satisfactory, then I will cease reviewing or editing your story and put you on a blacklist. Sorry, but I've been screwed on deals before, and I'll not be taken advantage of. 

Reviews

A review will cover the following: your cover, your blurb, your characters, your plot, and my overall enjoyment/investment for a minimum of three chapters. I will post the review in this 'story' so that people may see it and decide if they'd like to check out your story, and I will not take it down just because you don't like it-- if you've a legitimate reason, let me know. I have the right to refuse your book for any reason, but here are the common reasons why I might do so:

-- Currently overloaded. Typically not an issue, since I'm decently fast, but life is what it is. If this is the case, I will tell you to reapply later.

-- Grammatical errors. If your story is riddled with grammar and spelling issues, then I will not read it because I will keep mentally fixating on every single error. Since my time is valuable, I'd rather spend my efforts actually reviewing content than playing spellcheck. 

-- Not filling out the form properly. Basic thing, shouldn't be an issue, but someone always finds a way to surprise me... 

-- Not a subject that I cover. While I'll rarely refuse you on genre alone, I don't read fanfiction that I don't know the source for, and I will not read works that glorify behavior such as abuse or murder. Your book can be mature, can contain murderers or abusers, whatever-- I don't care, so long as you're not glorifying that kind of behavior. I do cover LGBTQ+ books, so that's not something I'm concerned about.

Editing

Editing service will focus on grammatical issues, diction, sentence structure, punctuation, and spelling. Like reviews, I have the right to refuse you and will likely do so for the same reasons, sans grammatical error... because that'd be dumb.

Research

Research is free; I got it from looking around, and I'm just saving you a bit of time as well as consolidating my own notes. I do ask that you credit me simply so that people know about this service, but I'm not asking for a chapter dedication or anything. This will come rarely, but when I take the time to put information up, it's there for anyone who wants to see it.

Since research is free, I don't take requests. I post what I post, and if you can use it or get inspiration from it, great. If you can't, ignore it.

-- I'm willing to try my hand at covers, but I'll warn you that I'm not particularly great. The covers you see on my profile are ones designed and edited by me, and if it's something you're interested in, you can PM me.

-- Advice or thoughts on anything from characters to world-building to plot. That's free; ask away.

-- Help with languages. I'm a native English speaker, and while I am not fluent in any other language, I am decent at Spanish and German, and I know some basics for Czech. I won't translate your whole story, but if you're looking for a line or a bit of dialogue, I can probably work with you. I also have some resources for other languages that I'm not learning, like Japanese and French, so I can help there as well.

-- I might, on occasion, do reviews for stories that haven't been submitted to me. That doesn't mean you owe me anything.
