You hated awkward silences, but you also hated starting conversation. So there you were sitting one the far edge of itchy armpit as far away from the Hiccup Haddock. You sat using a small knife to carve into a piece of wood.

You flinched as Hiccup sat next to you. Groaning you pressed the blade harder into the wood. "So what breed was your dragon," he asked trying to start a conversation.

Thinking for a moment you came up with a lie simple and easy, "Don't know," just as the words left your mouth you felt guilty.

"Well what did it look like?"

"She, and her name is Stardust and I am done with this conversation," you didn't feel like talking about your dragon. It hurt to much, sighing you stood up walking away from Hiccup towards the small fire he and Toothless made.

As you plotted down Hiccup sat across you on the other side of the fire. You didn't look up at him even though you in knew he was looking at you. He let out a small sigh after about another long awkward silence.

"I know what its like to loses something or someone you care for," he said suddenly.

This made you stiffen up, "I would appreciate if you wouldn't talk," you said not wanting to hear his sob story.

"Im just trying to tell you, I know what your going through and if you need to talk than im here," he says.

You rolled your eyes, "Well I don't need to talk, I don't want to, and I'm not going to!" You exclaimed your voices echoing.

Your faces had flushed and you suddenly felt like crying. Gone Stardust was gone, like you family, like everything. Suddenly your eyes started to water and you kept your head down letting the tear trickle down your faces. Breathe (Y/N), you told yourself as your breath became shaky, vikings shouldn't cry.

As tears blurred you vision your hands started shaking causing you to cut your hand trying to carve the wood. You paused only a second to watch the red liquid run from the back of your hand were the cut was. "Your bleeding!" Hiccup says.

"No! You sure?" You groaned sarcastically.

Taking a peice of cloth from your clothes you wrapped the cut. You could feel Hiccups eyes boring into you as if he could see your soul. This made you shiver. Your eyes glanced up slowly and met his. You guys stayed like this a minute enjoying one anothers eyes.

You suddenly found it hard to breathe. His eyes were green and beautiful, they held happiness, and lose. Most of all they held something hard to describe. Looking into his eyes was like the first time you looked into Stardust.

Fear, confusion, understanding, so many feelings filled you overwhelming you like they had when you met your best friend. Your dragon. Except Hiccup wasn't a dragon, he was a viking. However in a way he seemed like both.

You looked at him and saw yourself. Why only now had you just saw this? You'd looked into his eyes before. Maybe not as intensity as now. You probably wouldn't have looked away if it wasn't for the sudden shots your ears picked up.

You and Hiccup looked away and out to the waters were you seen it. About seven boats. You shot to your feet. Panicked you looked at Hiccup, "Put out the fire before they see it!" you exclaimed.

He did asking you quickly after, "Who is it?"

"They," you paused, "They took Stardust."

You stepped closer to the edge desperately to catch a small sight of your dragon just to know she was alive. The ground crumbled and you slid just barely before Hiccup caught you and pulled you back up.

"We have to attack, we have to free Stardust," you said after thanking him.

He shook his head, "We can't not without the others, besides I know those ships, and the person leading them isn't someone to mess with."

You raised your eyebrow, "Im sure we can take them," you were sure.

He sighed sadly, "those are Outcast ships, along with Draco, a man who took someone very important to me."

You looked at him confused, "Who?"

He looked at me, "My father."

------

You and Hiccup flew in the clouds trailing the boats. You felt so impatient, your dragon was nearly in your grasps and you couldn't do anything not even try and free her. You were tired but couldn't sleep.

Draco, his name sounded familiar. You closed your eyes trying to think of were you heard it. "You should get some rest," Hiccup says to you.

"No-," you began to object. But Hiccup spoke again.

"Were just following to see where the dock then we will come back with others to take them on," He tells you, "Will get your dragon back (Y/N), I promise you have to trust me okay."

You were silent thinking it over, you wanted to attack now free Stardust and get away from Berk. However you knew if you would ever actually stand a chance against Draco you would have to wait for back up.

"Okay," You said leaning you head on his back. His armor was cold you ignored it. You could hear his heart beat it was almost like listening to Stardust breathe once again and it made you relax. You would save Stardust and Draco would pay for what he did to you, her, and most importantly Hiccup.
