Rear Talons Tutorial
Last one! The two pictures on the bottom are plantigrade and digitigrade feet (in that order). I'm sorry but this diagram is terrible.
1. When doing profile, instead of drawing a shape, draw two circles for the knuckles. When front-facing, draw a triangle (or rectangle, especially if the front talons are rectangle-shaped). Make sure they touch the ground. (The diagram doesn't show that, sorry)
2. Fill out limbs. Profile: Connect circles to make a toe. Add dew claw, if desired, to ankle (NOTE: On the bottom pictures showing a plantigrade and digitigrade foot, the ankle is the lowest big circle). To make a dew claw, simply put a small circle inside the ankle and put a smaller one along the limb and connect them. Remember, the dew claw goes on the inside of the limb. Unfortunately, I neglected to draw one above. Front-facing: separate triangle into four/three parts.
3. Define knuckles (make sure which knuckle is taller), add claws, and define limb.
4. Shade and/or colour. I'm sorry this step in the diagram doesn't look like the other ones.
Should I do other tutorials? I'm pretty sure I butchered this. -~-
