Had to use a reference for this guy. Hyaenodons are these extinct wolf-dog animals with disproportionate heads. However, their fat heads are very useful for chewing up prey. In their time, some were the largest predators around.

The only reason I drew one was because I'm writing something with one in it. Why a Hyaenodon as opposed to a wolf? Well, wolves are sort of overused in my opinion, but that doesn't sway the fact that wolves are cool. B)
