~Reader-chan's POV~

*during dream*

I was walking through a dark alley. Seeing nothing but darkness. I kept on running. Who am I running from anyway? I really don't know. All I knew I was running from someone.

"Come on (y/n)~ join in the fun~" I heard a man say. I kept running, fastening my pace, through the pure darkness.

I went behind something, hiding from whoever was chasing me.

"Come out, come out wherever you are (y/n), I promise, we'll treat as an equal. You can do whatever you please. Kill as much as you want. All you need to do is one favor.." I heard his footsteps coming closer to me.  I ran again.

It felt like hours I was running through this endless pit. Then, I saw it. I bright light ahead of me. I tried running, I felt so far.

I hesitated. I jumped to it, then suddenly my surroundings changed

I was in front of  Anteiku. It looked around 1 in the afternoon. And it was closed for some reason. I walked in.  My eyes widen.

I saw myself, eating. Who? I was eating my close friends I work with. But I was eating in front of someone. Who had the hair colour of Touka and had a fit, slim body. I've never seen him before, but I'm guessing that's her brother? He was enjoying watching me eat them.

"(Y/n) time to go, Jason is waiting for us. Oh and good job.." He smirked mischievously. And left the shop.

"Hai..." I got up and followed him like a dog.

I don't understand.. Why I'm I doing this. I-I would never do that. I'm I really a monster?

Then my surroundings changed again. I was in a large room, bowing in front of a huge guy. I stayed in a far distance, but still made out what they were saying.

"I want you to kill, everyone you love dearly, with no hesitation. Then let's see if you're that one powerful ghoul I heard about. Be dismissed." He said. I just bowed again and left the room.

*end of dream*

"(Y/n)-Chan! Wake up!" I woke up to a violent shaking. I jolt up and stared at Kaneki blankly.

"What's wrong. You were screaming 'no!' And 'I'm a monster!' Over and over again." I shivered and laid back down, pulling the covers on top of me.

"It's cold.." I whimpered out. He touched my forehead then my neck. He went to the kitchen then came back with a thermometer in his hand.

"Open." I weakly opened my mouth. He put the thermometer under my tongue and i closed my mouth.

A few seconds, later there was a beep sound from the thermometer. I took it out and looked over. 110.5. I threw the thermometer across the room, kinda mad and hid under the blankets.

~Kaneki's POV~

I walked over and picked the thermometer and looked over it. I sighed and walked back to the bed and took off the cover off of (y/n)'s head.

"I hate being sick...it's like the worst feeling to have..." She mumbled and pulled the covers back over her head. I pulled it back off and gently stroked her hair.

"I know... Try and get a good rest and a cool shower. And you'll feel better in no time..." I said softly. She nodded. I lightly kissed her head and stood up. "I need to go, I'll come back to check up on you, ok?" She nodded again.

"Ok, have a nice day Kaneki-kun." She said and turned to her side. I walked out, closing the door and went downstairs.

"Hello everyone.." I smiled.

"Hi Kaneki-kun~!" Hinami smiled. "Where's (y/n)-chan?" She asked curiously.

"Ah.. She has a fever..so she can't come today.." She just frowned and went outside.

"Aw..let's hope she gets better soon." Koma said. I nodded. "For now let's go on with the day" he smiled.
