~Reader-chan's POV~

I woke up, frightened and sweaty. I sat up and looked around only to see no one around. Of course. Why is he never here when I wake up from a nap with him? I frowned. That dream seemed so real. I looked down at my body.

"Hm... no bruises.." I said to myself. I've always had realistic dreams like that but not so extreme. Like the one with Ayato.. Had a dream with him in it, I bumped into him the next day.. I hope this dream become a reality.

I have never felt so powerless. I couldn't even use my kagune to fight back despite being tied up.. But why?

"(Y/N)? You're finally awake.." I jumped at hearing Kaneki's voice. I looked him, he had this soft, happy expression. "Oh sorry for scaring you like that." He chuckles a bit, "Are you okay?" He asks as I look away and nodded quickly. He walked over and sat next to me, taking a looking at my face.

"You're not okay. Tell me." I looked him.

"Its nothing to worry about." He raised an eyebrow, showing he's not believing what I say. "I mean it. Its nothing. Don't worry."

"Fine" He said, "Can we do something?"

"What do you want to do?" I tilted my head

"Um.. I was thinking if you want to sleep over... Can we do like a relaxing bath? Candles and all, If that's fine with you."

"What made you think of that idea?" I asked, "Even if I wanted to, what clothes am I going to wear to sleep?"

"Well, you seem on edge since the last time I saw you. I wanted to do like a little pamper night. And you always have my clothes~" He smirked at me, "I can go quickly to the store and get some other things we need for tonight." I stood quiet for a moment.

"Okay fine.."

"Okay, good. I'll go get some things and be back, so don't miss me too much~" He said flirtatiously and winked. I rolled my eyes.

"Alright don't get your hopes up mister" He laughs and gets his keys

"Ill be back miss (Y/N)" He smiles and leaves.

I exhaled deeply as I laid my back against Kaneki's chest. I relaxed myself, letting all my stress and tension go with every breath I take. I must admit, I am enjoying this relaxation time with Kaneki. This is a time where I can just let it all out. Everything has been making me irritated and honestly, its not really like me to do so.

"So tell me (Y/N), what has been the problem?"

"Hm?"

"From earlier. I'm not going to let that go, you know" He put his arms around my waist.

"Its nothing Kaneki, I already told you not to worry about it." I closed my eyes and sighed.

"I already know its more than nothing. I know when something bugs you so might as well spill" I frowned and sighed again

"Fine... Its not even a big deal anyways, I just had a nightmare that's all." I felt his gaze on me, piercing right through me.

"That's not all. I can tell. Listen, no matter what happened between us, I am still here for you. Or is it that you don't trust me anymore?" I stood silent. "I see... Well, while you were sleeping, you were murmuring someone's name. I couldn't tell who it was, but, all I know is that you were scared. So something happened"

"Youre getting on my nerves now, you know that right"

"Ah, so I'm right. Tell me (Y/N)." His tone was sharp, meaning he was serious in what he was saying. I mean he is not wrong, I can't hide this from him anymore, but I don't want us to be in a deeper hole than we already are.

"...It was about this guy and um, he kidnaped and beat the shit about of me. I was tied up an everything and I couldn't do anything.., I felt so hopeless"

"Do you remember the person?"

"No, but I do know that he's a ghoul. And he even said something along the lines of "Ill beat you for everything you have done to me" or some shit like that, and said a lot of degrading things to me in the dream, Everything felt so real... I just feel like I'm going insane at this point.." I said sadly.

"Well, just be glad its wasn't real and just a dream (Y/N). I know you know better to listen to anyone's shit opinions about you."

"Yeah.. but the thing is, when It starts to be repetitive, its harder to ignore. I feel like someone is torturing me on the inside of my brain." He gives me a kiss on the top of my head.

"Ill be here for you always, you know that right? No matter what" I smiled a bit.

"Thank you Kaneki.."

"Is that all that's bothering you? I know you mentioned something not wanting to be at home over text"

"Its only Richard."

"What is he doing now?"

"Besides being the stupid drunk he is, being annoying. He's like trying to go over the line with me and my mom."

"Hm?"

"He makes my mom very uncomfortable. She told me that herself. I don't know why she's still with him. Also, yesterday? I think, I don't remember when, but when his drunk ass came home he had the stupidest idea to try and fight me. Me out of all people. I punched the shit out of him but that didn't stop him, so me and my mom had to force to sleep." He stood quiet, listening to what I had to say, " And I don't know why, but I have the feeling that he's doing something to my mom."

"Like what?"

" I don't exactly know, but its not good. He should've been gone a long time ago, but there's something fishy going on that my mom doesn't want to tell me." I sighed deeply. " I'm going to find out what, but if he tries me one more time, its over for him. And I mean it"

" I can help you if you want. Sometimes handling things like this by yourself... Things can go wrong." I looked at him.

"Are you doubting me. You've seen what I am capable of doing. A piece of shit like him is nothing."

"No, I am not doubting you. Its just that it seems you have been struggling with him for a long while. Honestly, Youre right. He could've been gone a long time ago, if you have just killed him a long time ago."

"Shut up, I know what you are doing" He chuckles.

"What? Telling you how it is?"

"No, you know what you're doing mister and let me tell you something, you're doing something dangerous"
